Mark 12:18 Cross References - Webster

18 Then come to him the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying,

Matthew 22:23-33

23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection, and asked him, 24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man shall die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed to his brother. 25 Now there were with us seven brothers: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased; and having no issue, left his wife to his brother. 26 Likewise the second also, and the third, to the seventh. 27 And last of all the woman died also. 28 Therefore in the resurrection, whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. 29 Jesus answered and said to them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. 31 But as concerning the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, 32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. 33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.

Luke 20:27-40

27 Then came to him certain of the Sadducees (who deny that there is any resurrection) and they asked him, 28 Saying, Master, Moses wrote to us, If any man's brother should die, having a wife, and he should die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed to his brother. 29 There were therefore seven brothers: and the first took a wife, and died without children. 30 And the second took her for a wife, and he died childless. 31 And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: And they left no children, and died. 32 Last of all the woman died also. 33 Therefore in the resurrection, whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife. 34 And Jesus answering, said to them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: 35 But they who shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage. 36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal to the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. 37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. 38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live to him. 39 Then certain of the scribes answering, said, Master, thou hast well said. 40 And after that, they durst not ask him any question at all.

Acts 4:1-2

1 And as they were speaking to the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees came upon them, 2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

Acts 23:6-9

6 But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men, brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question. 7 And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided. 8 For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both. 9 And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and contended, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.

1 Corinthians 15:13-18

13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not raised. 14 And if Christ is not raised, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 15 And indeed we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified concerning God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not, if in truth the dead rise not. 16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17 And if Christ is not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18 Then they also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

2 Timothy 2:18

18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
