² And behold, there came a leper and worshiped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

⁴⁴ He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head. ⁴⁵ And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean. ⁴⁶ All the days in which the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone, without the camp shall his habitation be.

¹ Now Naaman, captain of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance to Syria: he was also a mighty man in valor, but he was a leper.

²⁷ The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave to thee, and to thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

³ And there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die? ⁴ If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. ⁶ But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshiped him, ⁷ And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the Most High God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

²² And often it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. ²³ Jesus said to him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. ²⁴ And immediately the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou my unbelief.

²⁷ And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

¹² And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, who stood at a distance. ¹³ And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. ¹⁴ And when he saw them, he said to them, Go, show yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass, that as they were going, they were cleansed. ¹⁵ And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, ¹⁶ And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. ¹⁷ And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? ¹⁸ There are not found returning to give glory to God, save this stranger. ¹⁹ And he said to him, Arise, depart: thy faith hath made thee whole.

³⁸ And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshiped him.

²⁵ And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshiped him.

²⁵ And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face, he will worship God, and report that God is in you in truth.
