Give to the LORD, O ye mighty, give to the LORD glory and strength. ² Give to the LORD, the glory due to his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. ³ The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters. ⁴ The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

³ Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

¹⁷ For he put on righteousness as a breast-plate, and a helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.

²⁴ Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

¹⁷ Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and out-stretched arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: ¹⁸ Thou showest loving-kindness to thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, JEHOVAH of hosts, is his name, ¹⁹ Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thy eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:

²² Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though its waves toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?

⁷ For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains, and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

³⁵ He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into water-springs.

⁷ And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.

¹⁸ I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

¹³ And the vine said to them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?

⁵ Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

¹² Therefore they shall come and sing in the hight of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.

²³ And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.

⁴⁶ My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

¹⁸ And be not drunk with wine, in which is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

⁹ Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

²⁰ But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

⁶ As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign-aloes which the LORD hath planted, and as cedar-trees beside the waters.

² (92:1)A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to thy name, O Most High.

²³ In the mountain of the hight of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shade of its branches shall they dwell.

¹⁹ And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.

¹² By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.

⁷ Yes, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the LORD.

²³ O inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in the cedars, how gracious shalt thou be when pangs come upon thee, the pain as of a woman in travail!

⁶ All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shade dwelt all great nations.

²¹ Whose leaves were fair, and the fruit of it abundant, and in it was food for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches the fowls of heaven had their habitation:

⁴ Though thou shalt exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou shalt set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.

³² Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge on its branches.

⁵ And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean to you.

⁷ Nevertheless, these ye shall not eat, of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean to you.

² (24:1)And it came to pass, when Saul had returned from following the Philistines, that it was told to him, saying, Behold, David is in the wilderness of En-gedi.

¹ (38:39)Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,

²⁶ The conies are but a feeble people, yet they make their houses in the rocks;

¹⁴ And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven, to divide the day from the night: and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years. ¹⁵ And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven, to give light upon the earth: and it was so. ¹⁶ And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. ¹⁷ And God set them in the firmament of the heaven, to give light upon the earth. ¹⁸ And to rule over the day, and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

¹⁹ And lest thou shouldst lift up thy eyes to heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldst be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided to all nations under the whole heaven.

²⁶ If I have beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness; ²⁷ And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand: ²⁸ This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judge: for I should have denied the God that is above.

¹² Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the day-spring to know its place;

³ (8:2)Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thy enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

⁶ (19:5)Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.

⁷ To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever: ⁸ The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever: ⁹ The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.

³⁵ Thus saith the LORD, who giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who divideth the sea when its waves roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:

⁴ And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. ⁵ And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night: and the evening and the morning were the first day.

²² While the earth remaineth, seed-time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

¹⁰ For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

¹⁶ The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.

¹⁰ Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. ¹¹ If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. ¹² Yes, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

⁷ I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

¹³ Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away their punishment: because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:

¹⁰ (34:9)O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

¹⁵ The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their food in due season.

⁴ For thus hath the LORD spoken to me, As the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so will the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.

² And say, What is thy mother: A lioness: she lay down among lions, she nourished her whelps among young lions. ³ And she brought up one of her whelps: it became a young lion, and it learned to catch the prey; it devoured men. ⁴ The nations also heard of him; he was taken in their pit, and they brought him with chains to the land of Egypt. ⁵ Now when she saw that she had waited, and her hope was lost, then she took another of her whelps, and made him a young lion. ⁶ And he went up and down among the lions, he became a young lion, and learned to catch the prey, and devoured men. ⁷ And he knew their desolate palaces, and he laid waste their cities; and the land was desolate, and the fullness of it, by the noise of his roaring. ⁸ Then the nations set against him on every side from the provinces, and spread their net over him: he was taken in their pit. ⁹ And they put him in custody in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon: they brought him into holds, that his voice should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel. ¹⁰ Thy mother is like a vine in thy blood, planted by the waters: she was fruitful and full of branches by reason of many waters. ¹¹ And she had strong rods for the scepters of them that bore rule, and her stature was exalted among the thick branches, and she appeared in her hight with the multitude of her branches. ¹² But she was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered; the fire consumed them. ¹³ And now she is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty ground. ¹⁴ And fire hath gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath devoured her fruit, so that she hath no strong rod to be a scepter to rule. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation.

¹⁸ How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yes, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.

²⁰ The beasts of the field cry also to thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.

⁴ Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he hath taken nothing?

¹³ They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not its ways, nor abide in its paths. ¹⁴ The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief. ¹⁵ The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face. ¹⁶ In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the day-time: they know not the light. ¹⁷ For the morning is to them even as the shades of death: if one knoweth them, they are in the terrors of the shades of death.

⁸ Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.

¹⁷ Thy crowned are as the locusts, and thy captains as the great grasshoppers, which settle in the hedges in the cold day, but when the sun ariseth they flee away, and their place is not known where they are.

²⁰ For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

¹⁹ In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou shalt return to the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and to dust shalt thou return.

¹⁶ And, behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at evening, who was also of mount Ephraim; and he dwelt in Gibeah: but the men of the place were Benjaminites.

¹² (5:13)There is a grievous evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners of them to their hurt.

²⁸ Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

⁸ Neither did we eat any man's bread for naught; but wrought with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: ⁹ Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves a pattern to you to follow us. ¹⁰ For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. ¹¹ For we hear that there are some who walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busy-bodies. ¹² Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

²⁴ And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and the creeping animal, and the beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. ²⁵ And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every animal that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

³¹ And God saw every thing that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

⁶ Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are in it, the seas, and all that is in them, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshipeth thee.

⁹ Who doeth great things and unsearchable; wonderful things without number:

¹ A Psalm of David. The earth is the LORD'S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

⁵ (40:4)Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

¹⁰ For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. ¹¹ I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine. ¹² If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof.

¹¹ (65:10)Thou waterest the ridges of it abundantly: thou settlest the furrows of it: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing of it.

³¹ Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

⁵ To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.

¹⁹ The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. ²⁰ By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

²² The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. ²³ I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. ²⁴ When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. ²⁵ Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth. ²⁶ While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. ²⁷ When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: ²⁸ When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: ²⁹ When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: ³⁰ Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; ³¹ Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men. ³² Now therefore hearken to me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. ³³ Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. ³⁴ Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. ³⁵ For whoever findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor from the LORD. ³⁶ But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

¹² He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

³³ O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

⁸ In which he hath abounded towards us in all wisdom and prudence;

¹⁰ To the intent that now to the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

¹⁷ Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

²⁰ And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. ²¹ And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. ²² And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

²⁸ And God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living animal that moveth upon the earth.

¹ Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made: and he said to the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

¹⁴ And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon, ¹⁵ And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills, ¹⁶ And for the precious things of the earth and fullness of it, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush; let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.

¹⁹ They shall call the people to the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand.

³⁴ (69:33)For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.

⁴ In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. ⁵ The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

⁵ And he shook off the animal into the fire, and felt no harm.

¹³ Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for a haven of ships; and his border shall be to Zidon.

⁸ Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning.

¹ (41:10)None is so fierce that he dare rouse him: who then is able to stand before me? ² (41:11)Who hath first benefited me, that I should repay him? whatever is under the whole heaven is mine. ³ (41:12)I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion. ⁴ (41:13)Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle? ⁵ (41:14)Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible around. ⁶ (41:15)His scales are his pride, shut together as with a close seal. ⁷ (41:16)One is so near to another, that no air can come between them. ⁸ (41:17)They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered. ⁹ (41:18)His sneezings flash light, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. ¹⁰ (41:19)Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire dart forth. ¹¹ (41:20)Out of his nostrils issueth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron. ¹² (41:21)His breath kindleth coals, and a flame issueth from his mouth. ¹³ (41:22)In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him. ¹⁴ (41:23)The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved. ¹⁵ (41:24)His heart is as firm as a stone; yes, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone. ¹⁶ (41:25)When he raiseth himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves. ¹⁷ (41:26)The sword of him that attacketh him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon. ¹⁸ (41:27)He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood. ¹⁹ (41:28)The arrow cannot make him flee: sling-stones are turned with him into stubble. ²⁰ (41:29)Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear. ²¹ (41:30)Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire. ²² (41:31)He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment. ²³ (41:32)He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary. ²⁴ (41:33)Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear. ²⁵ (41:34)He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.

¹⁴ Thou didst break the head of leviathan in pieces, and didst give him to be food to the people inhabiting the wilderness.

²³ They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business on great waters;

¹ In that day the LORD with his keen and great and strong sword will punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he will slay the dragon that is in the sea.

⁹ The ancients of Gebal and its wise men were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.

³¹ For by them he judgeth the people; he giveth food in abundance.

⁶ (36:5)Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth to the clouds.

²⁴ Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap: which neither have store-house, nor barn; and God feedeth them: How much more are ye better than the fowls? ²⁵ And which of you by solicitude can add to his stature one cubit? ²⁶ If ye then are not able to do that thing which is least, why are ye anxious for the rest? ²⁷ Consider the lilies how they grow: They toil not, they spin not; and yet I say to you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. ²⁸ If then God so clothe the grass, which is to-day in the field, and to-morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

¹⁷ Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them, so that they will say in that day, Have not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us?

⁹ Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?

²⁴ Why hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thy enemy?

¹⁴ If he should set his heart upon man, if he should gather to himself his spirit and his breath; ¹⁵ All flesh would perish together, and man would turn again to dust.

²⁹ When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:

⁷ (30:6)And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

³ Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.

⁴ His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

⁷ Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return to God who gave it.

²⁵ Neither is worshiped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

²⁰ For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope: ²¹ Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption, into the glorious liberty of the children of God. ²² For we know that the whole creation groaneth, and travaileth in pain together until now:

¹³ By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.

⁴ The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

⁶ By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

¹⁴ Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks; ¹⁵ Until the spirit shall be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness shall be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be counted for a forest.

¹⁷ For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

²² For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

⁹ Then said he to me, Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

¹ And you hath he revived, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

⁴ But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, ⁵ Even when we were dead in sins, hath made us alive together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

⁵ Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit;

⁵ And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

¹⁷ It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.

¹⁶ (102:15)So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD: and all the kings of the earth thy glory.

⁵ For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so will thy God rejoice over thee.

¹⁸ But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. ¹⁹ And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

⁴¹ Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

¹⁷ The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

⁵ And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. ⁶ And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

²² But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: ²³ And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: ²⁴ For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

³⁶ For from him, and by him, and to him are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

⁵ To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

²¹ To him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

¹⁸ And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me to his heavenly kingdom; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

²¹ Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

¹¹ To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

¹⁸ But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

¹² Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. ¹³ And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be to him that sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb for ever and ever.

¹⁸ And mount Sinai was altogether in a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke of it ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount trembled greatly.

³ Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous around him.

¹⁶ (77:15)Thou hast with thy arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

⁴ His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled. ⁵ The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

⁷ Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

⁵ Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.

¹ Oh that thou wouldst rend the heavens, that thou wouldst come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,

¹ (64:2)As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thy adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence! ² (64:3)When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.

²³ I beheld the earth, and lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. ²⁴ I beheld the mountains, and lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. ²⁵ I beheld, and lo, there was no man, and all the fowls of the heavens had fled. ²⁶ I beheld, and lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all its cities were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.

⁸ Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth in it? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood: and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.

⁵ The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, even the world, and all that dwell therein. ⁶ Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

⁵ Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet. ⁶ He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.

¹² (77:11)I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

¹⁷ How precious also are thy thoughts to me, O God! how great is the sum of them! ¹⁸ If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

¹⁴ So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

¹⁷ Although the fig-tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no food; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: ¹⁸ Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

⁴⁷ And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

³¹ So let all thy enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.

⁴ The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

³⁸ But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

¹³ (59:12)For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.

⁴⁵ That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.

⁴⁸ Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.

²² But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.

¹ And after these things I heard a great voice of many people in heaven, saying, Alleluia: Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, to the Lord our God: ² For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great harlot, who corrupted the earth with her lewdness, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
