² O my soul, thou hast said to the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;

³ He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. ⁴ Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shades of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

⁹ The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
