³⁴ A new commandment I give you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

¹⁰ In brotherly love be full of tender affection toward each other, in honour preferring one another:

⁴ Hearing of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of

¹² This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you. ¹³ No one hath greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

¹⁷ This I command you, that ye love one another.

²¹ That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

²⁶ And whether one member suffer, all the members might suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members might rejoice with it. ²⁷ Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in part.

⁴ Love suffereth long and is kind; love envieth not; love acteth not rashly, is not puffed up: ⁵ Doth not behave indecently, seeketh not her own, is not provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not at iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth: ⁶ Covereth all things, ⁷ believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

⁶ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but faith which worketh by love.

¹³ Brethren, ye have been called to liberty: only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. ¹⁴ For all the law is fulfilled in one word, in this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, fidelity,

² Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

¹⁰ Therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good unto all men; but especially to them who are of the houshold of faith.

² as Christ also hath loved us, and given himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God of a sweet-smelling savour.

¹ If there be then any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies; Fulfil ye my joy, ² that ye think the same thing, having the same love, being of one soul, of one mind. ³ Do nothing through strife or vain-glory, but in lowliness of mind, esteem each the others better than themselves. ⁴ Look not every one at his own things, but every one also at the things of others. ⁵ Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,

¹² Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering: ¹³ Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any have a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

¹² And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love towards one another and towards all men, as we also do towards you,

⁹ Touching brotherly love, we need not write to you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another. ¹⁰ And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren that are in all Macedonia; but we exhort you, brethren, that ye increase more and more,

³ We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because your faith groweth exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.

¹ Let brotherly love continue.

⁸ If ye fulfil the royal law (according to the Scripture) Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well.

²² Having purified your souls by obeying the truth thro' the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another with a pure heart fervently:

⁸ Finally, Be ye all of one mind, sympathizing with each other, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: ⁹ Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing, but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are called to this, to inherit a blessing.

⁷ and to patience godliness, And to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.

⁷ Beloved, I write not a new commandment to you, but the old commandment, which ye have had from the beginning; the old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. ⁸ Again, I do write a new commandment to you, which is true in him and in you: for the darkness is past away, and the true light now shineth. ⁹ He that saith, he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness until now. ¹⁰ He that loveth his brother, abideth in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him.

¹¹ For this is the message which ye heard from the beginning, that we love one another.

¹⁴ We know, that we are passed from death to life, because we love the brethren: he that loveth not his brother abideth in death. ¹⁵ Whosoever hateth his brother is a murtherer, and ye know that no murtherer hath eternal life abiding in him. ¹⁶ Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. ¹⁷ But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? ¹⁸ My beloved children, let us love not in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

²³ And this is his commandment, that we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

⁷ Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. ⁸ He that loveth not, knoweth not God; for God is love. ⁹ Hereby was manifested the love of God toward us, because God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. ¹⁰ Herein is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son, a propitiation for our sins. ¹¹ Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

²¹ And this commandment have we from him, that he who loveth God, love his brother also.

⁵ And now I beseech thee, Kuria, (not as writing a new commandment to thee, but that which we had from the beginning) that we may love one another.
