¹ Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are beloved of God the Father, and preserved through Jesus Christ, ² and called, Mercy unto you, and peace, and love be multiplied. ³ Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write to you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write to you and exhort you, to contend earnestly for the faith which was once delivered to the saints. ⁴ For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were of old described before with regard to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. ⁵ I am therefore willing to remind you, who once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. ⁶ And the angels, who kept not their first dignity, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness to the judgment of the great day. ⁷ Even as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them, which in the same manner with these gave themselves over to fornication, and went after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. ⁸ In like manner these dreamers also defile the flesh, despise authority, rail at dignities. ⁹ Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil, he disputed concerning the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. ¹⁰ But these rail at all the things which they know not: and all the things which they know naturally, as the brute beasts, in these they are defiled. ¹¹ Wo to them; for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah. ¹² These are spots in your feasts of love, while they banquet with you feeding themselves without fear: clouds without water, driven about of winds; trees without leaves, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; ¹³ Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. ¹⁴ And of these also, Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, Behold the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his holy ones, ¹⁵ To execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of them of all their ungodly deeds, which they have impiously committed, and of all the grievous things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. ¹⁶ These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own desires, and their mouth speaketh great swelling things, having mens persons in admiration for advantage. ¹⁷ But ye, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. ¹⁸ For they told you, In the last time there will be mockers, walking after their own ungodly desires. ¹⁹ These are they who separate themselves, sensual, not having the Spirit. ²⁰ But ye, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith, praying thro' the Holy Spirit. ²¹ Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. ²² And some, that are wavering, convince; Some save, snatching them out of the fire; ²³ on others have compassion with fear, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. ²⁴ Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling, and to preserve you faultless in the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, ²⁵ To the only God, our Saviour, be glory, and majesty, might and authority, both now and to all ages. Amen.

¹² Rejoice and be exceeding glad; for great is your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you.

¹³ And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

²⁹ And behold they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God?

³ Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alpheus, and Lebbeus, whose surname was Thaddeus;

²¹ Wo to thee, Chorazin, wo to thee, Bethsaida: for if the mighty works which have been done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

²⁴ But I say to you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you.

³¹ Wherefore I say to you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven to men; but the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven to men. ³² And whosoever speaketh against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in that to come. ³³ Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree corrupt and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit. ³⁴ Ye brood of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. ³⁵ A good man out of the good treasure bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. ³⁶ But I say to you, That every idle word which men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. ³⁷ For by thy words thou shalt be justified, or by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

⁶ And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had not root, they withered away.

²⁵ But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel amidst the wheat, and went away.

¹³ He answered and said, Every plant which my heavenly Father hath not planted shall be rooted up.

²⁷ For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father, with his angels; and then shall he render to every man according to his work.

²⁸ Jesus said to them, Verily I say to you, that ye who have followed me, in the renovation, when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

¹⁹ And seeing a fig-tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon but leaves only. And he saith to it, Let no fruit grow on thee hence-forward for ever. ²⁰ And presently the fig-tree withered away. And the disciples seeing it marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig-tree withered away?

¹³ But wo to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; for ye shut the kingdom of heaven against men: ye go not in, neither suffer ye them that are entring to go in. ¹⁴ Wo to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: for ye devour widows houses, and for a pretence make long prayers; therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. ¹⁵ Wo to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: for ye compass sea and land, to make one proselyte, and when he is become so, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves. ¹⁶ Wo to you, ye blind guides; who say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is bound.

³⁰ And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. ³¹ And he shall send forth his angels, with a loud-sounding trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

⁴² Watch therefore; for ye know not what hour your Lord cometh. ⁴³ But ye know this, that if the housholder had known, in what watch the thief would have come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broke open. ⁴⁴ Therefore be ye also ready: for at an hour ye think not, the Son of man cometh. ⁴⁵ Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his Lord hath appointed ruler over his houshold, to give them food in due season? ⁴⁶ Happy is that servant, whom his Lord coming shall find so doing. ⁴⁷ Verily I say to you, he will make him ruler over all his goods. ⁴⁸ But if that evil servant say in his heart, My Lord delayeth his coming: ⁴⁹ And shall begin to smite his fellow-servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken: ⁵⁰ The Lord of that servant shall come in a day that he expecteth him not, and in an hour that he is not aware of, ⁵¹ And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping, and gnashing of teeth.

³¹ When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory.

⁴¹ Then shall he say also to them on his left-hand, Depart from me, ye cursed into the everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.

⁴³ And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is good for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands, to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: ⁴⁴ Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. ⁴⁵ And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is good for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. ⁴⁶ And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: ⁴⁷ it is good for thee, to enter into the kingdom of God having one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell-fire: ⁴⁸ Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. ⁴⁹ For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

²⁰ they saw the fig-tree dried up from the roots. ²¹ And Peter remembring, saith to him, Master, behold the fig-tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

²⁹ And they that passed by, reviled him, wagging their heads and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple,

²⁸ For he earnesty debated with the Jews in publick, shewing by the scriptures, that Jesus was the Christ.

²⁷ For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

²⁹ For I know this, that after my departure grievous wolves will enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

³² And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, who is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among them that are sanctified.

³⁵ I have shewed you all things, that thus labouring ye ought to help the infirm, and to remember the word of the Lord Jesus, which he himself said, It is happier to give than to receive.

¹⁴ I magnify my office: If by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh, and save some of them.

³³ O the depth of the riches, and wisdom, and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!

³⁶ For of him, and through him, and to him are all things: to him be glory for ever! Amen.

⁴ Who art thou that judgest another's servant? To his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be upheld; for God is able to establish him.

¹⁰ But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou despise thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment-seat of Christ.

² Let every one of us please his neighbour, for his good, to edification.

¹⁴ Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

¹⁹ whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame;

² To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ at Colosse, grace be unto you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

²² he hath now reconciled, By the body of his flesh, through death, to present you holy, and spotless, and unreproveable in his sight:

²⁸ Whom we preach, admonishing every man, and teaching every man, that we may present every man perfect through Christ Jesus.

⁷ Rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

⁴ When Christ, our life shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

⁴ For it is impossible for those who were once inlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and been made partakers of the Holy Ghost, ⁵ And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, ⁶ And have fallen away, to renew them again unto repentance, seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. ⁷ For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh often upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them for whom it is tilled, receiveth blessing from God. ⁸ But that which beareth thorns and briars is rejected and nigh unto a curse, whose end is to be burned.

²⁸ So Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, will appear the second time, without sin, to them that look for him, unto salvation.

³⁰ But the scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?

¹⁶ James the son of Alpheus, and Simon called Zelotes, Jude the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, who also was the traitor.

⁶ And some fell upon a rock, and springing up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.

²⁶ For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's and that of the holy angels.

⁴² But wo to you, Pharisees; for ye tythe mint and rue and all herbs; and pass by justice and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. ⁴³ Wo to you, Pharisees; for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, ⁴⁴ and salutations in the markets. Wo to you; for ye are as graves which appear not, and men that walk over them are not aware. ⁴⁵ And one of the lawyers answering said to him, Master, thus saying, thou reproachest us also. ⁴⁶ And he said, Wo to you lawyers also; for ye load men with burthens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burthens with one of your fingers. ⁴⁷ Wo to you; for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets; whom your fathers killed.

¹⁹ And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years: take thine ease; eat, drink, and be merry. ²⁰ But God said to him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: and whose shall the things be that thou hast provided?

³⁶ and your lamps burning, And be like men that wait for their Lord, when he will return from the wedding, that, when he cometh and knocketh, they may open to him immediately. ³⁷ Happy are those servants, whom the Lord, when he cometh, shall find watching; verily I say to you, that he will gird himself, and make them sit down to table, and will come forth and serve them. ³⁸ And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, happy are those servants. ³⁹ And this ye know, that if the master of the house had known, what hour the thief would have come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broke open. ⁴⁰ Therefore be ye also ready; for the Son of man cometh in an hour when ye think not.

⁴⁵ But if that servant say in his heart, My Lord delayeth his coming, and shall begin to beat the men servants and maidens, and to eat, and drink, and be drunken:

² And the Pharisees and scribes murmured saying, This man receiveth sinners and eateth with them.

¹⁹ There was a certain rich man, who was clothed in purple and fine linen, and feasted splendidly every day.

²⁹ But the day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.

⁷ And seeing it, they all murmured, saying, He is gone to be guest with a sinner.

¹⁴ But his citizens hated him, and sent an embassy after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.

³⁴ But take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overloaded with gluttony, and drunkenness, and the cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

³⁹ And one of the malefactors, who were hanging on the cross, reviled him, saying, If thou be the Christ, save thyself and us. ⁴⁰ But the other answering, rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

¹⁷ but grace and truth was by Jesus Christ.

⁵ Jesus answered, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. ⁶ That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit, is spirit.

²² Ye worship ye know not what; we know what we worship; for salvation is from the Jews.

²² For neither doth the Father judge any one, but hath given all judgment to the Son: ²³ That all men may honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son, honoureth not the Father that sent him.

²⁷ And hath given him authority, to execute judgment likewise, because he is the Son of man.

⁴⁴ How can ye believe, while ye receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that is from God only?

³⁹ And this is the will of him that sent me, That of all which he hath given me, I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.

⁴¹ The Jews then murmured about him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

⁶¹ Jesus knowing in himself that his disciples murmured about this, said to them, Doth this offend you?

⁴⁴ Ye are of your father the devil, and your will is, to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth; for there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own; for he is a liar, and the father of it.

²⁸ And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand. ²⁹ My Father, who gave them me, is greater than all; and none shall pluck them out of my Father's hand. ³⁰ I and the Father are one.

²⁶ If any man serve me, let him follow me, and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will the Father honour.

²¹ He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me, shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. ²² Judas (not Iscariot) saith to him, Lord, how is it, that thou wilt manifest thyself to us, and not to the world?

⁴ Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine, so neither can ye, unless ye abide in me. ⁵ I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me and I in him, he beareth much fruit; but, separate from me, ye can do nothing. ⁶ If any one abide not in me, he is cast out as a branch, and is withered: and they gather and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

⁹ As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you. ¹⁰ Abide ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

¹⁶ Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and appointed you that ye may go and bear fruit, and your fruit may remain; that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

³ And this is life eternal, to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

¹¹ And I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep thro' thy name them whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. ¹² While I was with them in the world, I kept them thro' thy name. Those whom thou hast given me I have guarded, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled.

¹⁵ I do not pray, that thou wouldest take them out of the world, but that thou wouldest keep them from the evil one.

¹⁹ And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified thro' the truth.

¹³ And when they were come in, they went up into the upper-room, where both Peter and James, and John and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alpheus, and Simon Zelotes, and Jude the brother of James tarried.

³⁹ Whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back into Egypt,

²² But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.

³¹ Then the church through all Judea, and Galilee, and Samaria had peace: and being built up, and walking in the fear of God, and the comfort of the Holy Ghost, was multiplied.

²³ Who coming and seeing the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, to cleave unto the Lord with full purpose of heart.

⁴⁶ Then Paul and Barnabas speaking boldly, said, It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but seeing ye thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold! we turn to the Gentiles. ⁴⁷ For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set Thee for a light of the Gentiles, that Thou mightest be for salvation to the ends of the earth.

⁹ And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

²⁴ Forasmuch as we have heard, that some who came from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your minds, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law, whom we commanded not.

³ Opening them and evincing, That Christ ought to suffer, and to rise from the dead, and that this is the Christ, even Jesus, whom I declare unto you.

³¹ Because he hath appointed a day, in which he will judge the world righteously, by the man whom he hath ordained, whereof he hath given assurance to all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

⁴ And he discoursed in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and Greeks. ⁵ And when Silas and Timothy were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in spirit, and testified to the Jews, that Jesus was the Christ. ⁶ But when they set themselves in opposition and blasphemed, he shook his raiment and said to them, Your blood is upon your own head; I am pure: from henceforth I will go to the Gentiles.

⁵ Then said Paul, I was not aware, brethren, that it was the high priest; for it is written, Thou shalt not revile the ruler of thy people.

¹⁸ and the Gentiles, to whom I now send thee, To open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God; that they may receive through faith which is in me, forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance among them that are sanctified.

²³ For there stood by me this night an angel of the God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Saying, Fear not, Paul;

²⁸ Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent to the Gentiles, and they will hear.

²¹ Because knowing God, they did not glorify him as God, neither were thankful, but became vain in their reasonings, and their foolish heart was darkened. ²² Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Therefore God gave them up to vile affections; for even their women changed the natural use to that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, ²⁷ leaving the natural use of the women, burned in their lust toward each other, men with men working filthiness, and receiving in themselves the just recompence of their error.

⁵ But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up to thyself wrath in the day of wrath, and revelation, and righteous judgment of God?

¹⁶ In the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Christ Jesus, according to my gospel.

¹⁹ Now we know that whatsoever the law saith, it saith to them that are under the law; that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world be found guilty before God. ²⁰ Therefore no flesh shall be justified in his sight by the works of the law; for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

⁵ And hope shameth us not, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts, by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

²¹ That as sin had reigned through death, so grace also might reign through righteousness to eternal life, by Jesus Christ our Lord.

¹ What shall we say then? We will continue in sin that grace may abound? ² God forbid. How shall we who are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

²² But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. ²³ For death is the wages of sin; but eternal life is the gift of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

⁹ But ye are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if the Spirit of God dwell in you. And if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

¹⁵ For ye have not received the Spirit of bondage again unto fear, but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

²⁶ Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us, with groanings which cannot be uttered. ²⁷ But he who searcheth the hearts, knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit: for he maketh intercession for the saints, according to God.

³⁰ And whom he predestinated, them he also called; and whom he called, them he also justified; and whom he justified, them he also glorified. ³¹ What shall we say then to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

³⁹ nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

²¹ Hath not the potter power over the clay, out of the same mass to make one vessel to honour, and another to dishonour? ²² What if God, being willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, yet endured with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath fitted for destruction?

²⁴ Even us whom he hath called, not only of the Jews, but also of the Gentiles:

¹⁵ Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly to you, in part, as putting you in mind, because of the grace which is given to me of God,
