³ Then entered Satan into Judas, surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

¹⁰ Then Jesus saith to him, Get thee hence, Satan; for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

¹⁴ Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, going to the chief priests, ¹⁵ Said, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him to you? ¹⁶ And they bargained with him for thirty pieces of silver. And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

²³ And he answering said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same will betray me.

¹⁰ And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests, to betray him unto them. ¹¹ And hearing it they were glad, and promised to give him mony. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.

¹⁸ Jesus said, Verily I say to you, one of you that eat with me will betray me. ¹⁹ And they were sorry, and said to him one by one, Is it I? ²⁰ And another, Is it I? And he answering said to them, It is one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish.

²¹ But behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.

⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, Have I not chosen you twelve? Yet one of you is a devil. ⁷¹ He spake of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon; for he it was that would betray him, being one of the twelve.

⁶ This he said, not because he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the purse, and bare what was put therein.

² And while they were at supper (the devil having now put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon,

¹⁸ I know whom I have chosen, that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me, hath lift up his heel against me.

²⁶ Jesus answered, It is he to whom I shall give the sop when I have dipped it. And having dipped the sop, he giveth it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. ²⁷ And after the sop, then Satan entered into him.

³ But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thy heart, to lie to the Holy Ghost?
