³⁷ But as the days of Noah, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

³⁹ And knew not, till the flood came and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

²⁶ And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the son of man. ²⁷ They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, till the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

⁷ By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his houshold, by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

²⁰ Who some time disbelieved, when the long-suffering of God waited in the Days of Noah, while the ark was preparing, wherein few, that is, eight persons were saved through the water: ²¹ The antitype whereof, baptism, now saveth us, (not the putting away the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

⁵ to be reserved to judgment, And spared not the old world, (but he saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness) bringing a flood on the world of the ungodly;

⁶ Thro' which the world that then was, being overflowed with water perished.
