¹⁹ But thou wilt say to me, Why doth he still find fault?

²¹ The Son of man indeed goeth as it is written of him; but wo to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed: it had been good for that man, if he had not been born.

¹⁹ Wilt thou say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in?

²³ Him being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands, have crucified and slain:

²⁷ For of a truth, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, ²⁸ To do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel before determined to be done.

⁵ But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is not God unjust, who taketh vengeance? ⁶ I speak as a man. God forbid; for then how should God judge the world? ⁷ But if the truth of God hath abounded to his glory through my lie, why am I still judged as a sinner? ⁸ And why may we not (as we are slandered, and as some affirm us to say) do evil, that good may come? Whose damnation is just.

¹² But if Christ is preached, that he rose from the dead, how say some among you, that there is no resurrection of the dead?

³⁵ But some one will say, How are the dead raised? And with what body do they come?

¹³ Let no man when he is tempted say, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
