³⁷ Þa cwæð pilatus to hym. Ert þu witodlice kining; Se hælend hym andswerede and cwæð. Ðu hyt saigst þæt ich eom kining. On þam ich em ge-boren. & to þam ich com on middan-eard. þæt ich kyðe soðfæstnysse. Ælch þare þe is on soðfæstnysse ge-herð mine stefne.
