²⁰ Children, obey [your] parents in all things: for this is well-pleasing in the Lord.

⁴ For God said, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. ⁵ But ye say, Whosoever shall say to father or mother, [It is] a gift by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me, ⁶ He shall not relieve his father or mother. Thus have ye made the word of God of none effect by your tradition.

¹⁹ Honour father and mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

²⁴ Therefore as the church is subject unto the Lord, so [let] the wives [be] to the husbands in every thing.

²² Servants, obey in all things [your] masters according to the flesh; not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing the Lord.

⁹ Ye servants be obedient unto your own masters, please them well in all things; not answering again,

²¹ Make us perfect in every good work: that we may do his will; working in us that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for ever: Amen.
