¹⁰ For this [is] my covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.

³² I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

²⁵ As he saith also in Osee; I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her, beloved, who was not beloved. ²⁶ And it shall come to pass, in the place where it was said unto them, Ye [are] not my people; there shall they be called, the children of the living God.

²⁷ For this [is] my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

¹⁶ Know ye not that he that is joined to an harlot, is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

³ Ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ, ministred by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the heart:

⁷ But if the ministration of death written [and] ingraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses, for the glory of his countenance, which was to be done away; ⁸ How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

¹⁴ Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

¹⁶ This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their mind will I write them: ¹⁷ And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

¹⁶ But now they desire a better, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called [their] God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

¹⁸ Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first-fruits of his creatures.

²¹ Whrefore lay apart all filthiness, and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

²³ Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God which liveth and abideth.

⁹ But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the virtues of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
