¹² Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into his garner: but he will burn up the chaff with unquenched fire.

⁴³ For the days will come upon thee, that thine enemies will cast a trench, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,

²⁰ And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then ye will know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

⁸ In a flame of fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus:

⁷ But the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment, and impiety of ungodly men.

¹⁵ The land of Zabulon, and of Nephthalim, the way of the sea beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles: ¹⁶ The people who sat in darkness, saw great light: To them who sat in the region and shadow of death, light is sprung up.

⁵ The blind receive their sight, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

³⁷ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them who are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth [her] chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

⁵⁰ And his mercy [is] on them that fear him, from generation to generation.

⁷⁸ Through the bowels of the mercy of our God;whereby the day-spring from on high hath visited us,

³² A light for a revelation [to the Gentiles] and the glory of thy people Israel.

⁴ And in him was life, and the life is the light of men.

⁸ He was not the light, but was to bear witness of the light.

¹⁴ And the Word was made flesh, and pitched his tabernacle among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

¹² Jesus therefore spake again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me, shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

⁴ I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh when no one can work.

³⁵ Jesus therefore said unto them, Yet a little while is the light among you: walk therefore while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. ³⁶ While ye have the light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

⁴⁰ He hath blinded [them], that they should not see with [their] eyes, nor understand with [their] heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

² Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every one that beareth fruit, he will purge it, that it may bear more fruit. ³ -- ⁴ As the branch cannot bear fruit of it self, except it abide in the vine: so neither can ye, except ye abide in me. ⁵ For I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, he bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye cannot do any [thing].

²⁶ Men, Brethren, children of the family of Abraham, and whosoever among us feareth God, to us is the word of this salvation sent forth.

⁴⁷ For so hath the Lord commanded us, Behold I have set thee to be a light to the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

¹⁸ To open their eyes, and to turn [them] from darkness to light, and[from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them who are sanctified by faith that is in me.

⁸ For ye were sometimes darkness, but now light in the Lord: walk as children of light, ⁹ For the fruit of the light [is] in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth. ¹⁰ Proving what is acceptable unto God, ¹¹ And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. ¹² For it is a shame even, to speak of those very things which are done of them in secret. ¹³ But all things that are reproved, are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifst, is light. ¹⁴ Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and thou shalt lay hold on Christ.

³ We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all towards each other aboundeth:

¹⁹ We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do dwell that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts:

¹⁸ But grow in grace, and [in] the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: to him [be] glory, both now and for ever. Amen.

⁸ Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in us: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.

²⁸ And I will give him the morning star.

¹⁸ And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets; and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great, to destroy them who destroy the earth.

² In the midst of the street of it, and on this side and on that side of the river, the tree of life, which bare twelve fruits, yielding her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree for the healing of the nations.

¹⁶ I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright and morning star.

²⁰ And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.

¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdom of this world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever.

²⁰ And the wine-press was troden without the city, and blood came out of the wine-press, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand six hundred furlongs.

¹⁷ Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to perfect [them]. ¹⁸ For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be done. ¹⁹ Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: ²⁰ For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed that of the Scribes and Pharisees, ye shall by no means enter into the kingdom of heaven.

¹⁶ And behold, one came and said unto him, [Read Good Master] Master, what good things shall I do that I may have eternal life? ¹⁷ And he said unto him, [Read Why callest thou me Good? There is none good but one; God.] Why dost thou ask me about a good thing? there is one that is good: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. ¹⁸ He saith unto him, Which? And Jesus said thus, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, ¹⁹ Honour father and mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. ²⁰ The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? ²¹ Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go, sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in the heavens: and come follow me. ²² When the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

³⁶ Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law? ³⁷ Jesus saith unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. ³⁸ This is the first and great commandment. ³⁹ And the second [is] like unto this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thy self. ⁴⁰ On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

²⁸ And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and seeing that he had answered them well, asked him, saying, Master, Which is the first commandment? ²⁹ But Jesus answered him, and said. The first of all [is], Hear, Israel, The Lord our God is one Lord; ³⁰ And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. ³¹ But the second is like to this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thy self: there is none other commandment greater than these. ³² And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God, and there is none but he. ³³ And to love him with all [thy] heart and with all [thy] power, and with all [thy] soul, and to love [thy] neighbour as thy self, is more than whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. ³⁴ And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no men durst ask him any question.

²⁵ But a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, What shall I do to inherit eternal life? ²⁶ He said unto him, What is written in [the] law? how readest thou? ²⁷ And he answering, said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole strength;and thy neighbour as thy self. ²⁸ And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

²⁹ But Abraham said unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. ³⁰ And he said, No, Father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. ³¹ But he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be perswaded, though one rise from the dead, and go away to them.

³⁹ Search the scriptures, for in them ye think ye have eternal life, and they are they which testifie of me. ⁴⁰ And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life eternal. ⁴¹ I receive not honour from men. ⁴² But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. ⁴³ I am come in my Fathers name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. ⁴⁴ How can ye believe, who receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that is from God only? ⁴⁵ Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father; there is that accuseth you, Moses, in whom ye have trusted. ⁴⁶ For had ye believed Moses, ye would also have believed me: for he wrote of me.

⁴⁶ But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

³¹ Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

¹ Be subject unto all souls that are in authority. For there is no power but of God: those that be, are ordained of God. ² Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist, shall receive to themselves judgment. ³ For rulers are not a terror to a good work, but to an evil one. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: ⁴ For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain; for he is the minister of God, a revenger upon him that doth evil. ⁵ Wherefore, be ye subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. ⁶ For, for this cause pay you tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. ⁷ Render to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute, custom to whom custom, fear to whom fear, honour to whom honour. ⁸ Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another, hath fulfilled the law. ⁹ For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not covet; and if [there be] any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thy self. ¹⁰ Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: And love [is] the fulfilling of the law.

¹³ For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion of the flesh, but by love of the Spirit serve one another. ¹⁴ For all the law is fulfilled in you in one word, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thy self.

²⁴ And they that are Christ's, have crucified the flesh, with the affections and lusts. ²⁵ If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

⁹ But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. ¹⁰ For whosoever shall fulfil the whole law, and yet offend in one [law,] he is guilty of all. ¹¹ For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. ¹² Sospeak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. ¹³ For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; [and] let mercy rejoice against judgment.

¹³ For all the prophets, and the law prophesied until John. ¹⁴ And if ye will receive [it], this is Elias who was to come.

¹⁰ And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes, that Elias must first come? ¹¹ And he answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall come, [and] shall restore all things: ¹² But I say you, that Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they wished. ¹³ Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist: Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

⁴⁷ Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias. ⁴⁸ And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled [it] with vinegar, and put [it] on a reed, and gave him to drink. ⁴⁹ The rest said, Let him alone, let us see whether Elias will come and save him.

¹¹ And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes, Elias must first come? ¹² And he answered and said to them, If Elias cometh first, he will restore all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought. ¹³ I say unto you, that Elias is come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they would, as it is written of him.

¹⁷ And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

²⁶ But what went ye out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say unto you, and more than a prophet, For there was no greater prophet of those that were born of women than John the Baptist. ²⁷ This is he of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before [thy] face, who shall prepare thy way. ²⁸ But I say unto you, He that is least in the kingdom of God, is greater than he.

³⁰ And behold two men talked with him, who were Moses and Elias.

²¹ And they asked him, What then. Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou the prophet? And he answered, No.

²⁵ And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not the Christ, nor Elias, neither the prophet?

¹⁹ And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath, ²⁰ The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great day of the Lord come.

¹⁷ For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

⁷ When the king heard [it], he was wroth: and he sent forth his army, and destroyed those murderers, and burnt up their city.

³⁵ That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the land, from the blood of righteous Abel, unto the blood of Zacharias, son of Barachias, whom ye have slain between the temple and the altar. ³⁶ Verily I say unto you, all these things shall come upon this generation. ³⁷ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them who are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth [her] chickens under her wings, and ye would not! ³⁸ Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

²⁷ For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth unto the west: so shall the coming of the Son of man be. ²⁸ Wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles also be gathered together. ²⁹ Immediately after the tribulation of those days, shall the sunbe darkned, and the moon shall not give its light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. ³⁰ And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man who is in the heavens, and then shall all the tribes of the land mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming upon the clouds of heaven, with great power and glory.

²¹ And Peter calling to remembrance, saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig-tree which thou cursedst, is withered away.

¹⁴ But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, standing where it ought not, let him that readeth, mind what he readeth, then let them that be in Judea, flee to the mountains. ¹⁵ And let him that is on the house-top, not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house. ¹⁶ And let him that is in the field not turn back to take up his garment. ¹⁷ Wo to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days. ¹⁸ And pray ye that [these things] be not in the winter. ¹⁹ For those days shall be afflictions, such as have not been from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, and may this not be again. ²⁰ And except that the Lord had shortned those days, for his elects sake, no flesh should be saved; but for the elects sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortned the days. ²¹ And then, if any one shall say, Lo, here [is] Christ, or lo, there: believe it not. ²² For false prophets shall arise, and shall make signs and wonders, to seduce, if [it were] possible, the elect. ²³ But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. ²⁴ But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkned, and the moon shall not give her light: ²⁵ And the stars of heaven shall be falling and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. ²⁶ And then shall they see the Son of man coming upon the clouds; with great power and glory.

¹⁶ And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. ¹⁷ And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

⁷⁶ But thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest;for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord, to prepare his ways;

⁴¹ And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, ⁴² Saying, If thou also hadst known in this day, what things concern thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. ⁴³ For the days will come upon thee, that thine enemies will cast a trench, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, ⁴⁴ And will level thee even with the ground, and thy children; and they will not leave stone upon stone in this whole [city,] because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

²² For these be the days of vengence, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. ²³ Wo unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days: for there will be great distress in the land, and wrath in this people. ²⁴ And they shall fall by the edge of the sword; and shall be led away captive unto all nations; and Jerusalem shall be troden down of the Gentiles; until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. ²⁵ And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, and perplexity, the sea and the waves roring; ²⁶ Mens hearts failing them for fear, and for expectation of those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers which are in heaven shall be shaken. ²⁷ And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud, with great power and glory.

⁸ But that which beareth thorns and briers, [is] rejected, and [is] nigh unto cursing; whose end [is] to be burned.

²⁶ For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there is not another sacrifice left still to be offered. ²⁷ But a certain fearful looking for of judgment, and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. ²⁸ He that despised Moses law, died without mercy and tears, under two or three witnesses: ²⁹ Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath troden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? ³⁰ For we know him that hath said, Vengeance [belongeth] unto me, I will recompence. And again, That the Lord shall judge his people. ³¹ [It is] a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

¹⁵ And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the wine-press of the fierceness of the wrath of almighty God

³ And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and his servants shall serve him.

²⁰ He that testifieth these things, saith, I come quickly. Amen. Come Lord Jesus. ²¹ The grace of the Lord Jesus [be] with you all.
