¹ And there appeared a great wonder in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, and the moonunder her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: ² And she being with child, cried, andtravelling in birth, was pained to be delivered. ³ And there appeared another wonder in heaven, and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads, and ten horns, and seven crowns were upon their head. ⁴ And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman, who was ready to be delivered, forto devour her child assoon as it was born. ⁵ And she brought forth a man-child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and unto his throne. ⁶ And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place there prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred threescore days. ⁷ And there was war in heaven; and Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels: ⁸ And he pravailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven. ⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil and Satan, who deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. ¹⁰ And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast out, who accused them before our God day and night. ¹¹ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. ¹² Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Wo to the inhabiters of the earth, and of the sea: for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. ¹³ And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child[.] ¹⁴ And to the woman were given the two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place: where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. ¹⁵ And the serpent cast out of his mouth after the woman water as a flood, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. ¹⁶ And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the water, which the dragon cast out of his mouth. ¹⁷ And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus.

³⁸ Then certain of the Scribes and of the Pharisees answered him, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

³⁰ And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man who is in the heavens, and then shall all the tribes of the land mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming upon the clouds of heaven, with great power and glory.

²⁵ And the stars of heaven shall be falling and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

¹¹ And great earthquakes will be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences, and fearful sights, and great signs will be from heaven.

²⁵ And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, and perplexity, the sea and the waves roring;

²⁹ He that hath the bride, is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, who standeth and heareth him, rejoyceth greatly because of the bridegrooms voice, this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

¹⁹ And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath,

²² Even the righteousness of God by faith of Jesus Christ unto all, and upon all them that believe; for there is no difference:

¹⁴ But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, unto its lusts.

² For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you a chaste virgin to Christ.

²⁷ For as many of you as lave been baptized into Christ, have put on Christ.

¹⁴ But God forbid that I should glory save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it: ²⁶ That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water, by the word, ²⁷ That he might himself present it a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

³² This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

¹¹ For the grace of God that bringeth salvation, hath appeared to all men: ¹² Teaching us, that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world;

²⁰ The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks, are the seven churches.

¹⁹ And the temple of God was opened, which is in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his covenant: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thundrings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

³ And there appeared another wonder in heaven, and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads, and ten horns, and seven crowns were upon their head.

¹ And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

¹⁴ And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and upon them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

²³ And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof.

²¹ A woman when she is in travail, hath sorrow, because her day is come: but assoon as she has brought forth the child, she remembreth no more the sorrow, for joy that a man is born into the world.

¹⁹ My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

²⁷ For it is written, Rejoice thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she who hath an husband.

⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil and Satan, who deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

¹⁷ And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus.

¹³ And I saw three unclean spirits as frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

³ So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads, and ten horns. ⁴ And the woman was arrayed in purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stone, and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand, full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.

⁷ And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the wild beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

⁹ And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom, The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. ¹⁰ And they are seven kings: five are fallen, one is, the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

¹² And the ten horns which thou sawest, are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the wild beast.

¹⁶ And the ten horns which thou sawest and the wild beast, these shall hate the whore, and make her desolate, and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

¹² His eyes as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written that no one knew but he himself:

² And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

³ When Herod the king had heard [it], he was troubled, and Jerusalem with him. ⁴ And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded where Christ should be born. ⁵ And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judea: for thus [it is] written by the prophet; ⁶ And thou Bethlehem of the land of Juda, art thou the least among the princes of Juda? for out of thee shall come a Governor that shall rule my People Israel. ⁷ Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise-men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. ⁸ And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said unto them, Go, and search diligently for the young child: And when ye shall have found [him], bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. ⁹ When they had heard the king, they departed, and lo, the star which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over the young child. ¹⁰ When they saw the star, they rejoyced with exceeding great joy. ¹¹ And when they were come into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and fell down and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. ¹² And being warned of God in a dream, that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own Country another way. ¹³ And when they were departed, behold the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child, and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I tell thee: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. ¹⁴ When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: ¹⁵ And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son. ¹⁶ Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise-men.

⁴⁴ Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do: he was a murderer of men from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

⁸ Be sober, be vigilant; Your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour.

⁷ And the first sounded, and there was hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of the earth was burnt up, and the third part of the trees, and all the green grass was burnt up.

¹⁰ And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and in their tails their power was to hurt men five months.

¹⁹ For the power of the horses is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails [were] like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

² And she being with child, cried, andtravelling in birth, was pained to be delivered. ³ And there appeared another wonder in heaven, and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads, and ten horns, and seven crowns were upon their head.

¹⁸ And the woman which thou sawest, is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

²⁵ And knew her not till she had brought forth her first-born son; and he called his name Jesus.

¹⁹ So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

² I knew a man in Christ fourteen years ago, whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth: such an one caught up to the third heaven.

²⁶ And he that overcometh, and observeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: ²⁷ And he shall rule them with a rod of iron: as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers, even as I received of my Father.

¹² And they heard a great voice from heaven, saying, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies beheld them.

² And she being with child, cried, andtravelling in birth, was pained to be delivered.

¹⁵ And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the wine-press of the fierceness of the wrath of almighty God

¹¹ Then the devil leaveth him, and behold angels came and ministred unto him.

² But the court which is without the temple cast out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they measure forty and two months. ³ And I will give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred threescore days clothed in sackcloth.

¹⁴ And to the woman were given the two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place: where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

⁵ And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things, and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty two months.

⁴¹ The son of man shall send forth his angels and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that cause offenses, and them who do iniquity;

²⁷ For the Son of man will come in the glory of his Father, with his holy angels; and then he shall reward every one according to his practice.

³¹ And he shall send his angels with a trumpet, of a great sound and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. And when these things begin to come to pass, Look up, and lift up your heads for your redemption draweth nigh.

⁴¹ Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into eternal fire, which my Father hath prepared for the devil and his angels:

⁵³ Or thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angel?

⁷ And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me.

¹² For ye wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

⁷ And to you who are troubled, rest with us; when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven, with his mighty angels,

¹⁰ For it became him, for whom [are] all things, and by whom [are] all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

⁴ For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast [them] down to Tartarus, and delivered [them] into chains [and] darknesses to be reserved to be punished;

⁹ Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil, he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

⁷ And power was given him over every tribe and people, and tongue, and nation.

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him faithful and true, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. ¹² His eyes as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written that no one knew but he himself: ¹³ And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipt in blood: and his name hath been called, The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, but clothed in white linen, and clean. ¹⁵ And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the wine-press of the fierceness of the wrath of almighty God ¹⁶ And he hath on his thigh a name written, King of Kings[,] and Lord of lords. ¹⁷ And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come, gather your selves together unto the great supper of God; ¹⁸ That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both [free] and bond, both small and great. ¹⁹ And I saw the wild beast, and the kings of the earth, and his armies gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. ²⁰ And the wild beast was taken, and those with him, the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the wild beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

¹⁸ And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, [a Rock] and upon this Rock will I build my church: and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

²⁵ That he may take the place of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas fell, that he might go to his own place.

³¹ What shall we then say to there things? if God [be] for us, who is against us? ³² He that did not so much as spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? ³³ Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? [It is] God that justifieth: ³⁴ Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather that is risen again; who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. ³⁵ Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? tribulation, or distress, persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ³⁶ As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. ³⁷ Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors on account of him that loved us. ³⁸ For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angel, nor authority, nor principality, nor power, nor things present, nor things to come, ³⁹ Nor height, nor depth, nor any creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁶ But the angels who kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved everlasting chains under darkness, unto the judgment of the great day.

¹¹ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

¹ Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness, to be tempted of the devil.

⁵ Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

⁸ Again, the devil took him up into an exceeding high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them:

¹⁰ Then said Jesus unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only thou shalt serve.

³⁹ The enemy that sowed them, is the devil: the harvest is the end of the age: and the reapers are the angels.

²⁴ For there will be raised false Christs, and false prophets, and will shew great signs and wonders, insomuch that if possible the very elect should be deceived.

¹² Those by the wayside, are they that follow: [then] cometh the devil, and taketh the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

¹⁸ But he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

¹⁶ And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath-day?

³ And Satan entered into Judas sirnamed Scarioth, being of the number of the twelve.

³¹ And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired you, that he may sift [you] as wheat:

³¹ Now is the judgment of the world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

³⁰ Hereafter I will not talk many things to you: for the prince of the world cometh, and hath nothing to find in me.

¹¹ And of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

³ But Peter said unto Ananias, Why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and for thee to keep back [part] of the price of the land?

¹⁸ To open their eyes, and to turn [them] from darkness to light, and[from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them who are sanctified by faith that is in me.

¹⁸ For they that are such, serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words, deceive the hearts of the simple.

²⁰ And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.

¹¹ Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

⁴ In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them who believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine.

³ But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity and purity that is in Christ.

¹⁴ And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

¹⁴ That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the flight of men, the cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive:

³ Let no man deceive you by any means: for it will not be except there come an apostacy first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition:

⁹ Whose coming is after the working of Satan, with all power, and signs, and wonders of a lie. ¹⁰ And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness, in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth of Christ, that they might be saved. ¹¹ For this cause God sends them strong delusion, that they shall believe a lie:

¹⁴ And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

⁶ Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride, he fall into the judgment of the devil. ⁷ Moreover, he must have a good report of them who are without; lest he fall into reproach, and into the snare of the devil.

¹³ But evil men and seducers will wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

¹⁴ Forasmuch then as the children were partakers of blood and flesh, he also himself likewise took part of the same sufferings: that thro death he might destroy [death] that hath the power of death, that is, the devil;

⁸ But he that committeth sin, is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. ⁹ Whosoever is born of God doth not commit Sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. ¹⁰ In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: Whosoever doeth not righteousness, is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in the wicked one.

⁹ I know thy tribulation, and poverty, but thou art rich, and the blasphemy of them who say they are Jews, and are not, but the synagogue of Satan.

¹³ I know where thou dwellest, where satans seat [is]: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even, in those days [wherein] Antipas my faithful martyr was slain among you, where satan dwelleth.

²⁴ Bat unto you I say, the rest in Thyatira, who have not this doctrine, who have not known the depths of satan, as they speak, I put upon you none other burden.

⁹ Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will cause that they shall come, and shall worship before thy feet, and know that I have loved thee.

¹ And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall front heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the pit of the abyss.

²⁰ And the rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues, yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship daemons, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and wood: which neither can see, nor bear, nor walk:

⁷ And there was war in heaven; and Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels:

¹⁴ And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth, by those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the wild beast, saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the wild beast who had the wound by a sword, and did live.

¹⁴ For they are the spirits of daemons working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of the great day of God almighty.

² And he cried with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of daemons, and the hold of every unclean and hateful spirit; and a cage of every unclean and hateful wild beast.

²³ And the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived:

²⁰ And the wild beast was taken, and those with him, the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the wild beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

⁸ And shall go out to deceive the nations, which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of them, as the sand of the sea.

¹⁰ And the devil that deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where both the wild beast and the false prophet [were,] and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

¹⁰ Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done as in heaven, so on earth.

⁶⁴ Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: moreover I say unto you, that hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

¹⁸ And Jesus came, and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and on earth.

² But [he said] unto them, When ye pray do not use vain repetitions as the rest do, for some think they shall be heard for their much speaking. But when ye pray say, Our Father who art in the heavens, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come upon us.Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth:

⁴ In the name of our Lord Jesus, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus,

⁹ And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

³ The aged women likewise, that [they be] in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

²⁶ And he that overcometh, and observeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

¹⁰ And they cry with a loud voice, saying. Salvation to our God who sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

¹⁵ And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdom of this world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever.

¹ After these things I heard as it were a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, The power and glory of our God: ² For true and righteous [are] his judgments; for he hath judged the great whore who did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. ³ And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. ⁴ And the twenty-four elders, and the four animals fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. ⁵ And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, small and great. ⁶ And I heard the voice of a great multitude, and the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thundrings, saying Alleluia: forthe Lord God omnipotent reigneth. ⁷ Let us be glad and rejoyce, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made her self ready.

²⁶ If any man comes to me, and hates not his father, and his mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

³³ These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

²⁴ But this I do not value, neither count I my life dear unto my self, so that I may finish my course, and the ministry of the word, which word I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify to Jews and Gentiles the gospel of the grace of God.

¹³ Then Paul said unto us; What mean ye to weep, and to disturb mine heart? for I am not only willing to be bound, but also am ready to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

⁵⁷ But thanks [be] to God who hath given us the victory, through our Lord Jesus Christ.

³ For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: ⁴ For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. ⁵ Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth it self against the knowledge of God, and captivating every thought, and bringing it unto the obedience of Christ:

¹³ Wherefore, take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day; and having done all, ¹⁴ Stand, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; ¹⁵ And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; ¹⁶ Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye are able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. ¹⁷ And the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: ¹⁸ Praying always, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching unto him, always in supplication for all the saints;

⁷ I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. ⁸ Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto them also that love his appearing.

¹⁴ Forasmuch then as the children were partakers of blood and flesh, he also himself likewise took part of the same sufferings: that thro death he might destroy [death] that hath the power of death, that is, the devil; ¹⁵ And deliver them who through fear of death, were all their life time subject to bondage.

³⁵ Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection. ³⁶ And others had trial of mockings, and scourgings, yea moreover, of bonds, and imprisonment. ³⁷ They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheep-skins, and goat-skins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented: ³⁸ Of whom the world was not worthy, they wandered in deserts, and mountains, and dens and caves of the earth.

¹³ I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I have written unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. ¹⁴ I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.

⁴ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

⁵ Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

² Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, [and of] all things that he saw.

⁹ I John, who am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience in Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, [for] the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus

⁷ He that hath an ear, let him hear, what the Spirit saith unto the seven churches, To him that overcometh wilt I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

¹⁰ Fear not those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and may have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. ¹¹ He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches, He that overcometh, shall not be hurt of the second death.

¹⁷ He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches, To him that overcometh will I give of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth, saving he that receiveth it.

⁵ He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

¹² Him that overcometh, will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and my new name.

²¹ To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

⁹ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and the testimony which they held.

¹⁰ And they cry with a loud voice, saying. Salvation to our God who sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. ¹¹ And all the angels stood round about the throne, and the elders, and the four animals, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, ¹² saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might [be] unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. ¹³ And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arayed in white robes? and whence came they? ¹⁴ And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they who come out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

⁷ And when they shall be near finishing their testimony, the fourth wild beast that ascendeth out of the abysse shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

¹⁷ And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus.

¹ And I looked, and lo, a Lamb standing on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty four thousand, having his name and [his] Father's same written upon their foreheads. ² And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and the voice which I heard was of harpers harping with their harps; ³ And they sang as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four animals, and the elders: and no man could learn that song, but the hundred forty four thousand, who were redeemed from the earth. ⁴ These are not defiled with women; for they are virgins: these are they that follow the lamb whithersoever he goeth: these were redeemed from among [men,] first-fruits unto God, and to the Lamb.

² And I saw asit were a sea of glass, mingled with fire; and them that had gotten the victory over the wild beast, and over his image, [and] over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. ³ And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous [are] thy works, Lord God almighty; just, and true [are] thy ways, thou King of nations.

¹⁰ And I fell at his feet to worship him: And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not; I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

⁴ And I saw thrones, and they satupon them, and judgment was given unto them: and the souls of them that had been conquered in war, for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the wild beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon [their] forehead, and in their Hand; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, among men of good will.

¹⁰ Likewise I say unto you, There shall be joy in the presence of the angels of God, over one sinner that repenteth.

³⁷ For yet a while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

⁸ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

¹³ And I beheld, and heard an eagle flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Wo, wo, wo to the inhabiters of the earth, by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels which are yet to sound.

¹² One wo is past, behold there come two woes more hereafter.

⁶ And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in them, that there should be no longer time.

¹⁰ And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwell on the earth.

¹⁴ The second wo is past; behold, the third wo cometh quickly.

²⁰ Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and the saints and the apostles and prophets, for God hath avenged you on her.

³ And there appeared another wonder in heaven, and behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads, and ten horns, and seven crowns were upon their head. ⁴ And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman, who was ready to be delivered, forto devour her child assoon as it was born. ⁵ And she brought forth a man-child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and unto his throne. ⁶ And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place there prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred threescore days.

³ So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads, and ten horns.

¹⁵ And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

²⁰ Teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the age.

¹ And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech, or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

³ And hereby we know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

² By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

¹⁰ He that believeth on the Son of God, hath the record in himself: he that believeth not the Son hath made himself a liar, because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

¹¹ And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. ¹² Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Wo to the inhabiters of the earth, and of the sea: for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

¹² Here is the patience of the saints, that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

⁶ And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

¹⁴ These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings; and they that are with him, [are] called, and chosen, and faithful.

¹⁹ And I saw the wild beast, and the kings of the earth, and his armies gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

⁸ And shall go out to deceive the nations, which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of them, as the sand of the sea. ⁹ And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city, and fire came down out of heaven, and devoured them.

¹⁴ Blessed [are] they that wash their garments, that they may have power over the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
