³⁶ But I have a testimony greater than that of John; for the works which the Father hath given Me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing testify concerning Me, that the Father hath sent Me.

⁴ And Jesus, answering, said to them, "Having gone, report to John what ye are hearing and seeing:

²³ And, when He was in Jerusalem at the passover, during the feast, many believed on His name, beholding His signs which He was doing.

² This man came to Jesus by night, and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that Thou hast come, as a Teacher, from God; for no one can do the signs which Thou art doing, unless God be with Him."

¹⁷ for God sent not His Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world may be saved through Him.

³⁴ Jesus saith to them, "My food is to do the will of Him Who sent Me, and to finish His work.

³² There is Another Who testifieth concerning Me; and I know that the testimony which He testifieth concerning Me is true.

³⁰ The man answered and said to them, "Why, in this is the wonder, that ye do not know whence He is, and He opened my eyes. ³¹ We know that God heareth not sinners; but, if any one is a worshiper of God, and does His will, him He heareth. ³² From remotest antiquity, it was never heard that any one opened the eyes of one born blind! ³³ If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing."

²⁵ Jesus answered them, "I told you, and ye did not believe: the works that I do in My Father's name, these testify concerning Me.

³⁷ If I do not the works of My Father, believe Me not; ³⁸ but, if I do them, even though ye believe not Me, believe the works; that ye may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father."

³⁷ And some of them said, "Could not This Man, Who opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not die?"

¹⁰ Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I say to you, I speak not from Myself; but the Father, abiding in Me, doeth His works. ¹¹ Believe Me, that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me; or, else, believe Me because of the works themselves.

²⁴ Had I not done among them the works which no other did, they would not have had sin; but now have they both seen and hated both Me and My Father;

⁴ I glorified Thee on the earth; having completed the work which Thou hast given Me to do.

²² "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus, the Nazarene, a man accredited from God to you by miracles, and wonders, and signs, which God did through Him in the midst of you, even as ye yourselves know;

⁹ If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; because this is the testimony of God, that He hath testified concerning His Son.

¹¹ And this is the testimony, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. ¹² He that has the Son has the life; he that has not the Son of God has not the life.
