⁹ And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole habitable earth; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.

¹ Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness, to he tempted by the Devil.

⁵ Then the Devil takes Him into the holy city, and placed Him on the pinnacle of the temple,

⁸ Again the Devil takes Him into an exceedingly high mountain, and shows Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

¹⁰ Then Jesus saith to him, "Depart, Satan; for it has been written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.'"

³⁹ and the enemy that sowed them is the Devil; and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels.

²⁴ for there will arise false Christs and false prophets; and they will give great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

⁴¹ Then will He say also to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, ye accursed! into the eternal fire which was prepared for the Devil and his angels;

¹² And those by the wayside are those who heard; then the Devil comes, and takes away the word from their heart; lest, having believed, they should be saved.

¹⁸ And He said to them, "I was beholding Satan fallen as lightning out of the heavens.

¹⁶ And was it not right that this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan bound, lo, eighteen years, should have been loosed from this bond on the day of the sabbath?"

³ And Satan entered into Judas, the one called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve;

³¹ "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked for you, to sift you as the wheat;

⁴⁴ Ye are of your father the Devil; and the desires of your father ye wish to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own; because he is a liar, and the father of it.

³¹ Now is the judgment of this world: now will the Prince of this world be cast out;

³⁰ I will no more speak much with you; for the Prince of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me;

¹¹ and respecting judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

³ But Peter said, "Ananias, why did Satan fill your heart, that you should lie to the Holy Spirit, and keep back part of the price of the land?

¹⁸ to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins, and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.'

¹⁸ For those who are such are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own belly; and, through their kind words and flattering speeches, they beguile the hearts of the simple.

²⁰ And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet speedily. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

¹¹ that we might not be over-reached by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

⁴ in whom the god of this world blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, Who is the image of God, should not shine upon them.

³ but I fear lest, by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity and purity which is toward Christ.

¹⁴ and no wonder, for even Satan transforms himself into an angel of light!

⁷ And, that I might not be exalted overmuch by the exceeding greatness of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I might not be exalted overmuch.

¹⁴ that we may no longer be babes, billow-tossed, and carried about with every wind of teaching, in the sleight of men, in the craftiness suited to the artifice of error;

³ Let no one deceive you in any manner; because that day will not come, unless the falling away come first, and the man of lawlessness be revealed—the son of perdition;

⁹ him whose coming is according to the working of Satan in all power and signs and lying wonders, ¹⁰ and in all deceit of unrighteousness to those who perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. ¹¹ And, for this cause, God sendeth them a working of delusion, that they may believe the lie;

¹⁴ And Adam was not deceived; but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into transgression.

⁶ not a novice; lest, being puffed up, he fall into condemnation of the Devil. ⁷ And it is needful also that he have an honorable testimony from those without, lest he fall into reproach and a snare of the Devil.

¹³ But evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

¹⁴ Since, therefore, the children have partaken of blood and flesh, He Himself also in like manner took part of the same; that, through death, He might bring to nought him who had the power of death, that is, the Devil;

⁸ Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the Devil, as a roaring lion, is going about, seeking whom he may devour;

⁸ He that commits sin is of the Devil; because the Devil sins from the beginning. To this end was the Son of God manifested, that He might destroy the works of the Devil. ⁹ Whosoever has been begotten of God sins not; because His seed abides in him, and he cannot sin because he has been begotten of God. ¹⁰ In this are manifest the children of God and the children of the Devil: every one that does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that does not love his brother;

¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and the whole world is lying in the evil one.

⁹ But Michael, the arch-angel, when contending with the Devil he was disputing about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring against him a railing judgment, but said, "The Lord rebuke you."

⁹ "I know your tribulation, and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

¹³ "I know where you dwell, where Satan's throne is; and you hold fast My name, and did not deny My faith, even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

²⁴ But to you I say, to the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as have not this teaching, who knew not the deep things of Satan, as they say, I cast on you no other burden;

⁹ Behold, I give those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie—behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I loved you.

¹ And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fallen out of the heaven to the earth, and there was given to him the key of the pit of the abyss.

²⁰ And the rest of the men, who were not killed with these plagues, repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship the demons, and the idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood; which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk;

³ And another sign was seen in the heaven; and, behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his heads seven diadems.

⁷ And there was war in the heaven; Michael and his angels went forth to war with the dragon. And the dragon made war, and his angels;

¹⁴ And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. ¹⁵ And the serpent cast out of his mouth, after the woman, water as a river, that he might cause her to be borne away by the river.

¹⁴ And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by reason of the signs which it was given him to do in the sight of the beast; saying to those dwelling on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, who has the stroke of the sword, and lived.

¹⁴ for they are spirits of demons, working signs; which go forth unto the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.

² And he cried with a mighty voice, saying, "Babylon the great fell, fell, and became a habitation of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hateful bird;

²³ and the light of a lamp shall in nowise shine in you any more: and the voice of bridegroom and of bride shall be heard in you no more; because your merchants were the princes of the earth; because by your sorcery were all the nations deceived.

²⁰ And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet that wrought the signs in his presence, with which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image. The two were cast alive into the lake of fire that burns with brimstone.

² And he seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, ³ and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years should be finished; after these things he must be loosed for a little time.

⁸ and will come forth to deceive the nations that are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

¹⁰ And the Devil who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where also the beast and the false prophet were cast; and they shall be tormented, day and night, forever and ever.
