⁴ For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members have not the same office;

⁴ Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

¹² For, as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is the Christ; ¹³ for, indeed, in one Spirit were we all immersed into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink of one Spirit. ¹⁴ For the body also is not one member, but many.

²⁷ Now ye are Christ's body, and severally members thereof.

⁴ There is one body, and one Spirit, even as also ye were called in one hope of your calling;

¹⁵ but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him, Who is the Head, Christ; ¹⁶ from Whom all the body, fitly framed and knit together through every joint of supply, according to the working in due measure of each single part, secures the growth of the body to the upbuilding of itself in love.
