⁷ Yea there are three that bear witness, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood:

¹⁶ Then he permitted Him. And Jesus as soon as He was baptized came up from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened unto Him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and coming upon Him: ¹⁷ and lo, a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

⁵ And as he was speaking, lo a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him.

¹⁶ but if he regard thee not, take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

¹⁹ Go ye therefore and instruct all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Ghost,

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

³² And John testified saying, I saw the Spirit descending like a dove from heaven, and it abode upon Him. ³³ And I knew Him not: but He that sent me to baptize with water, said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending and abiding on Him, the same is he that baptizeth with the Holy Spirit. ³⁴ And I saw it, and therefore testified that this is the Son of God.

²⁶ For as the Father hath life in Himself, so hath He given also to the Son to have life in Himself.

¹³ The pharisees therefore said to Him, Thou bearest witness of thyself; thy testimony is not true. ¹⁴ Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear witness of myself, my testimony is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I am going; but ye know not whence I come, nor whither I go.

¹⁸ Now I am one, who bear witness of myself; and the Father, who sent me, beareth witness of me.

⁵⁴ Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honor is nothing: it is my Father that glorifieth me, of whom ye say that He is your God.

³⁰ I and the Father are one. Then the Jews again took up stones to stone Him.

³⁷ If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. ³⁸ But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in Him.

²⁸ Father, glorify thy name. Then came a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

³³ Therefore being exalted by the right hand of God, and having received of the Father the promise of the holy Spirit, He hath poured forth this gift, which ye now see and hear.

³² and we are his witnesses of what we declare; and so is the holy Spirit, whom God hath given to them that obey Him.

⁴ Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit: and there are different offices, but the same Lord: ⁵ and there are diversities of operations, ⁶ but it is the same God who worketh them all in every one.

¹⁴ and the love of God, and the communication of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

³ how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which began to be declared by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by them that heard Him; ⁴ God also testifying together with them by signs, and wonders, and divers miracles, and gifts of the holy Spirit, according to his own will.

¹² For the word of God is lively and efficacious, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of the very joints and marrow, and judging the thoughts and intentions of the heart. ¹³ And there is no creature concealed from his sight: but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him, to whom we are to give an account.

¹ That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have contemplated, and our very hands have felt concerning the Word of life,

⁶ This is He that came by water and by blood, even Jesus the Messiah; not with water only, but with water and blood: and of this the Spirit beareth witness, for the Spirit is truth.

¹⁰ He, that believeth on the Son of God, hath the witness in himself: he, that believeth not God, hath in effect made Him a liar, because he believed not the testimony which God hath testified of his Son. ¹¹ And the testimony is this, that God hath given to us eternal life; and this life is in his Son.

⁴ John to the seven churches in Asia---Grace and peace be to you, from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; ⁵ and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the first-born from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

¹³ And He was clothed with a vesture dipt in blood: and his name is called, "The Word of God."
