¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

²⁸ as the Son of man came not to be ministred unto, but to minister and to give his life a ransom for many.

²⁸ for this is my blood, the blood of the new covenant, which is to be shed for many for the remission of sins:

²⁹ The next day John seeth Jesus coming towards him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world.

³⁶ and looking upon Jesus as He was walking, he saith, "Behold the lamb of God."

³² And the portion of scripture, which he was reading, was this, "He was led as a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before it's shearer is dumb, so He opened not his mouth: ³³ in his humiliation his judgement was taken away, and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken away from the earth." ³⁴ And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom doth the prophet say this? of himself, or of some other person? ³⁵ Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this scripture, preached unto him Jesus.

²⁸ Take heed therefore to yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the holy Spirit hath appointed you bishops, to feed the church of God, which He purchased with his own blood.

⁷ Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new mass, without leaven. For our paschal lamb, even Christ, was slain for us. ⁸ Wherefore let us keep the feast, not with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavening of sincerity and truth.

⁷ in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the remission of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

¹⁴ in whom we have redemption by his blood, even the remission of sins.

¹² nor by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption for us. ¹³ For if the blood of bulls and goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purification of the flesh; ¹⁴ how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself spotless to God, purify your conscience from dead works, that ye may serve the living God?

²² Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: ²³ who, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not; but committed Himself to Him that judgeth righteously. ²⁴ Who Himself bare our sins in his own body on the cross, that we being dead to sins, might live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye are healed.

¹⁸ As Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust (that He might introduce us to God) being indeed put to death in the flesh, but raised to life by the Spirit:

⁷ but if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have communion with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

² And He is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the first-born from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

⁶ And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne, and of the four animals, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb, as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.

⁹ And they sung a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open its seals; for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;

¹⁴ And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they who come out of great affliction, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

¹ Then I looked and behold a Lamb standing on mount Sion, and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written on their foreheads.
