1 Corinthians 5:1-5

1 It is commonly reported that there is lewdness among you, and such lewdness as is not named even amongst the heathens, that one should have his father's wife. 2 And are ye puffed up, and have not rather grieved? that he who hath committed this fact might be expelled from among you? 3 For I indeed, absent in body, but present in spirit, have already, as if I were present, judged him who hath wrought this wickedness: in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 when ye are assembled together with my spirit, by the power, I say, 5 of our Lord Jesus Christ, to deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. Your boasting is not good.

12 For what have I to do to judge those that are without? and do not ye judge those that are within? 13 But those who are without, God judgeth: and therefore put away the wicked one from among you.
