⁷ And departing thence, he went to the house of one named Justus, who worshipped God, whose house was contiguous to the synagogue.

² and one that feared God, with all his house; giving also much alms to the people, and praying to God continually.

²² And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a righteous man, and one that feareth God, and of a good character among all the nation of the Jews, hath been warned from God by an holy angel, to send for thee to his house, and to hear what thou shalt say.

⁴² As they went out of the synagogue of the Jews, the Gentiles desired that these words might be spoken to them on the following sabbath.

¹⁴ And a certain woman named Lydia, a purple-seller of the city of Thyatira, who worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened to attend to the things that were spoken by Paul.
