¹ After these things I saw, and behold, a door opened in heaven; and the first voice which I heard was as of a trumpet speaking to me; and it said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must come to pass hereafter. ² And immmediately I was in the Spirit: and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sitting on the throne. ³ And He that sat upon it, was to look at like a jasper and a sardine stone, and there was a rainbow round the throne like the appearance of an emerald. ⁴ And around the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw twenty four elders sitting, clothed in white garments; and they had upon their heads crowns of gold. ⁵ And out of the throne came lightnings, and thunders, and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne; which are the seven spirits of God. ⁶ And before the throne was a sea of glass, like crystal: and in the middle of the throne, and the circle of it, were four animate beings full of eyes before and behind. ⁷ And the first was like a lion, and the second like a calf, and the third had a face like a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle. ⁸ And the four animals had each of them six wings round about, and within were full of eyes; and they cease not day and night saying, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come. ⁹ And when the animals give glory and honor and thanks to Him that sitteth on the throne, ¹⁰ who liveth for ever and ever, the four and twenty elders fall down before Him that sitteth on the throne, and worship Him that liveth for ever and ever, ¹¹ and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Worthy art thou, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for thou hast created all things, and by thy will they exist, and were created.

¹⁶ Then he permitted Him. And Jesus as soon as He was baptized came up from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened unto Him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and coming upon Him:

¹⁰ and as soon as He came up from the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon Him.

²¹ Now, when all the people were baptized, and Jesus was baptized and praying,

¹³ But when the Spirit of truth is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He will not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that will He speak, and will shew you things to come.

⁵⁶ and he said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing at the right hand of God.

¹¹ and some thing descending to him, like a great sheet tied at the four corners, and let down to the earth:

¹ The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto Him, to shew to his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it by his angel to his servant John, ² who bare witness to the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, and to whatever He saw. ³ Happy is he that readeth, and those that hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written therein: for the time is near.

¹⁰ Here I was in the Spirit on the Lord's-day: and heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet,

¹⁹ Write what thou hast seen, the things which are, and which are to be hereafter."

¹² And they heard a great voice from heaven, saying to them, Come up hither; and they ascended up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies beheld them.

¹⁷ And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came forth a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

⁶ And he said unto me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets hath sent his angel to shew unto his servants what must soon be.

¹ Now the sum of the things that have been said is this, that we have such an high-priest, who is sat down at the right hand of the throne of the majesty in the heavens;

²¹ To him that overcometh I will grant to sit with me on my throne, as I also have overcome, and am set down with my Father on his throne.

⁵ And out of the throne came lightnings, and thunders, and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne; which are the seven spirits of God.

⁹ And when the animals give glory and honor and thanks to Him that sitteth on the throne,

¹ And I saw on the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a book written within and without, sealed with seven seals:

⁶ And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne, and of the four animals, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb, as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth. ⁷ And He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne.

¹³ And I heard every creature in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that are in them, saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb, for ever and ever.

¹⁶ and said to the mountains and to the rocks, "Fall upon us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

⁹ After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no one could number, out of all nations, and tribes, and people, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and with palms in their hands; ¹⁰ and crying with a loud voice, saying, Salvation be ascribed to our God, who sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb. ¹¹ And all the angels stood round the throne, and round the elders, and the four animate beings; and fell on their faces before the throne, and worshipped God, saying, Amen: ¹² Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and strength be ascribed to our God for ever and ever. Amen. ¹³ And one of the elders said unto me, Who are these that are clothed in white robes, and from whence did they come? ¹⁴ And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they who come out of great affliction, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. ¹⁵ Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in his temple: and He that sitteth upon the throne shall dwell among them. ¹⁶ They shall hunger no more, nor thirst any more, nor shall the sun nor any violent heat fall upon them. ¹⁷ For the Lamb, that is in the midst of the throne, shall feed them, and shall lead them to fountains of living waters: and God will wipe off every tear from their eyes.

⁵ And she brought forth a male child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

³ And he transported me in spirit into the wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-coloured beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.

⁴ And the four and twenty elders, and the four animals fell down and worshipped God that sat upon the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled, and no place was found for them.

⁵ And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

¹⁰ And he carried me away in spirit to a great and high mountain, and he shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God:

¹ And he shewed me a pure river of the water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God, and of the Lamb. ² And in the midst of the street, and of the river, which ran on each side, was the tree of life, producing fruits twelve times in the year, yielding its different fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. ³ And every curse shall cease: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and his servants shall serve Him.

¹ And I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven invested with a cloud: and there was a rainbow on his head, and his face was as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire.

¹¹ and her light was like a most precious stone, even as a Jasper-stone resembling crystal:

¹⁹ And the foundations of the wall of the city were set off each with precious stones: the first foundation a jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, ²⁰ the fourth an emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprasus, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth an amethyst.

²⁸ And Jesus said unto them, Verily I tell you, that ye who have followed me, in the regeneration, when the son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon the twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel:

³⁰ that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit upon thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

⁸ As to what remains, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me in that day: and not to me only, but also to all those who have longed for his appearance.

¹⁰ Fear none of the things which thou wilt suffer: behold the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall suffer affliction ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

⁴ Thou hast a few names even in Sardis, which have not defiled their garments, and they shall walk with me in white; for they are worthy. ⁵ He that overcometh shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name from the book of life; but I will own his name before my Father, and before his angels.

¹⁰ who liveth for ever and ever, the four and twenty elders fall down before Him that sitteth on the throne, and worship Him that liveth for ever and ever,

⁸ And when He had taken the book, the four animals, and the twenty four elders, fell down before the Lamb, having every one harps and golden vials full of perfumes, which are the prayers of the saints.

¹⁴ And the four animals said, Amen: and the twenty four elders fell down and worshipped Him that liveth to endless ages.

¹¹ And white robes were given to each of them, and it was told them to rest a little while longer, till the number of their fellow-servants, and their brethren that should be killed as they were, should be complete.

¹¹ And all the angels stood round the throne, and round the elders, and the four animate beings; and fell on their faces before the throne, and worshipped God, saying, Amen:

¹³ And one of the elders said unto me, Who are these that are clothed in white robes, and from whence did they come? ¹⁴ And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they who come out of great affliction, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

⁷ And the resemblance of the locusts was like horses prepared for war; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces as the faces of men.

¹⁶ And the four and twenty elders, who sat before God on their thrones, fell on their faces, and worshipped God,

¹⁴ And the armies in heaven followed Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen white and clean.

⁴ And I saw thrones, and persons sat on them, and judgement was given to them: and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God; and who had not worshipped the beast, nor his image, and received not his mark upon their forehead, and on their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

¹¹ I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance; but He that cometh after me, is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to carry: He shall baptize you with the holy Spirit and with fire.

³ And there appeared unto them divided tongues, as it were of fire, and it sat upon each of them:

⁴ Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit: and there are different offices, but the same Lord: ⁵ and there are diversities of operations, ⁶ but it is the same God who worketh them all in every one. ⁷ But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the advantage of all. ⁸ For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; ⁹ to another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; ¹⁰ to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another the discerning of spirits; to another various kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: ¹¹ but all these worketh that one and the same Spirit distributing to every one in particular as He sees fit.

¹⁸ Ye are not come to a tangible mountain, and burning fire, and a thick cloud, and darkness, and tempest, ¹⁹ and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words, which they that heard, intreated that the word might not any more be thus delivered to them: ²⁰ (for they could not bear the strict command, if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or shot through with a dart; ²¹ and so terrible was the appearance that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and tremble:) ²² but ye are come to mount Sion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, ²³ to the general assembly and church of the first-born who are written in heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of the just made perfect, ²⁴ and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than Abel. ²⁵ See that ye reject not Him that speaketh; for if they escaped not, who rejected him that gave forth divine oracles on earth, much less shall we, if we turn away from Him that speaketh from heaven: ²⁶ whose voice then shook the earth; but now He hath promised, saying, "Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also the heaven." ²⁷ Now this expression "yet once more" signifieth the removing of the things that are shaken, as of things which had been appointed only for a season, that those which cannot be shaken may remain. ²⁸ Wherefore since we receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us have grace whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and holy fear: ²⁹ for our God is a consuming fire.

⁴ John to the seven churches in Asia---Grace and peace be to you, from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

¹ And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, These things saith He that hath the seven spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead:

⁶ And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne, and of the four animals, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb, as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.

⁵ And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it upon the earth: and there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

¹⁹ And the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen in his temple: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

¹⁷ And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came forth a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. ¹⁸ And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as never was since there were men upon the earth, so violent and so great.

⁸ And the four animals had each of them six wings round about, and within were full of eyes; and they cease not day and night saying, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come. ⁹ And when the animals give glory and honor and thanks to Him that sitteth on the throne,

¹⁴ And the four animals said, Amen: and the twenty four elders fell down and worshipped Him that liveth to endless ages.

¹⁷ For the Lamb, that is in the midst of the throne, shall feed them, and shall lead them to fountains of living waters: and God will wipe off every tear from their eyes.

³ and they sung as it were a new song before the throne; and before the four living ones, and the elders: and none could learn the song, but the hundred and forty four thousand, who are redeemed from the earth.

² And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire; and those that had gained the victory from the beast, and from his image, and from his mark, and from the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, and having harps to celebrate the praises of God.

⁷ And one of the four living beings gave to the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.

¹⁸ And the structure of its wall was of Jasper, and the city pure gold, like transparent glass.

²¹ And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each of the gates was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold like resplendent glass.

¹ And he shewed me a pure river of the water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God, and of the Lamb.

⁹ or saith not the law the same also? for it is written in the law of Moses, "Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn." Now doth God take care for oxen, ¹⁰ or doth He say this indeed for our sakes? For it is certainly written for our sakes, that he, who ploweth, might plow in hope; and that he, who thresheth in hope, should partake of his hope.

²⁰ My brethren, be not children in sense: but in malice be infants, and in your judgements shew yourselves to be men.

⁶ And before the throne was a sea of glass, like crystal: and in the middle of the throne, and the circle of it, were four animate beings full of eyes before and behind.

³¹ Watch therefore, remembering that for the space of three years I ceased not by night and by day to warn every one with tears.

¹⁸ and I will be a father unto you, and ye shall be to me for sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

⁹ For ye remember, brethren, our labor and toil; for working night and day, that we might not be burthensome to any of you, we preached among you the gospel of God.

⁸ neither did we eat any one's bread for nothing; but with labor and toil, working night and day, that we might not be burthensome to any of you. ⁹ Not that we have not power, but that we might give ourselves as an example to you to imitate us.

¹⁶ Take heed to thyself, and to thy doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this, thou wilt both save thyself and those that hear thee.

² preach the word, be instant both in season and out of season; convince, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and instruction.

⁸ Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, to day, and for ever:

⁸ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, saith the Lord, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.

⁷ And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, These things saith the holy One, He that is true, He that hath the key of David, He that openeth and no one shutteth, and shutteth and no one openeth:

⁴ And around the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw twenty four elders sitting, clothed in white garments; and they had upon their heads crowns of gold.

¹⁵ Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in his temple: and He that sitteth upon the throne shall dwell among them.

¹⁷ saying, We give thanks unto thee, O Lord God almighty, who art, and who wast, and who art to come; because thou hast assumed thy great power, and hast reigned.

¹¹ And the smoke of their torment ascendeth for ever and ever: and they have no rest, day and night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

³ And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God almighty; just and true are thy ways, O king of saints: who should not fear thee,

⁷ And I heard another from the altar, saying, Yea, O Lord God almighty, true and just are thy judgements.

¹⁴ for they are the spirits of demons, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to bring them together to the battle of that great day of God almighty.

¹⁵ And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that He may smite the nations therewith: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the wine-press of the indignation and wrath of God almighty.

²² And I saw no temple in it: for the Lord God almighty, and the Lamb, are the temple of it.

⁸ besides, here men that die receive tithes; but there he of whom it is testified that he liveth.

²⁵ wherefore also He is able to save to the uttermost, those that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.

¹⁸ I am the first and the last, who live, though I was dead; and behold, I am alive for ever and ever, Amen, and have the keys of hades and of death.

⁶ lifted up his hand to heaven, and sware by Him that liveth for ever, who created the heaven and the things therein, and the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things therein, that there shall be time no longer:

¹¹ and coming into the house, they found the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshipped Him: and when they had opened their treasures, they brought Him presents, of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

⁹ and saith unto Him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me: ¹⁰ then Jesus saith unto him, Be gone, Satan; for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God,

⁵² And they worshipped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.

¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his favor to me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all; yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

⁴ O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: and all the nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy righteous judgements are made manifest."

⁸ And I John am he who saw and heard these things: and when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel, who shewed me these things. ⁹ And he said unto me, See thou do it not: for I am a fellow-servant of thine, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of those who observe the words of this book: worship God.

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² The same was in the beginning with God. ³ By Him were all things made, and without Him was not any one thing made that was made.

¹⁵ crying out, and saying, "Sirs, why do ye these things? we also are men subject to the like infirmities with you, and we preach the gospel unto you, that ye may turn from these vanities to the living God, who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea,

²⁴ The God that made the world and all things therein, being lord of heaven and earth dwelleth not in temples made with hands:

³⁶ For of Him, and through Him, and for Him, are all things. To Him be glory for ever. Amen.

⁹ and make all men to see the communication of the mystery, which from the ages past hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ;

¹⁶ for by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers; all were created by Him, and for Him. ¹⁷ He is before all, and by Him all things subsist.

² whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds.

¹⁰ And in another place, "Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast founded the earth, and the heavens are the works of thy hands:

² and I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book and to loose the seals of it?

⁹ And they sung a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open its seals; for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;

¹² saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.

⁷ and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the time of his judgement is come: and worship Him that made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
