²⁰ Forsothe whanne his herte was reisid, and his spirit was maad obstynat in pride, he was put doun of the seete of his rewme;

¹⁴ Treuli Y seie to you, this yede doun in to his hous, and was iustified fro the other. For ech that enhaunsith hym, schal be maad low, and he that mekith hym, schal be enhaunsid.

¹³ But moneste you silf bi alle daies, the while to dai is named, that noon of you be hardned bi fallas of synne.
