²⁰ He that dredde `the Lordis word, of the seruauntis of Farao, made his seruauntis and werk beestis fle in to housis;

¹³ He that bacbitith ony thing, byndith hym silf in to tyme to comynge; but he that dredith the comaundement, schal lyue in pees.

¹⁶ Welde thou wisdom, for it is betere than gold; and gete thou prudence, for it is precyousere than siluer.

³ A felle man seeth yuel, and hidith him silf; and an innocent man passid, and he was turmentid bi harm.

²³ For the Lord schal deme his cause, and he schal turmente hem, that turmentiden his soule.
