⁵⁰ And he led them forth without—unto Bethany, and having lifted up his hands he did bless them,

¹⁸ And Melchizedek king of Salem hath brought out bread and wine, and he is priest of God Most High; ¹⁹ and he blesseth him, and saith, `Blessed is Abram to God Most High, possessing heaven and earth; ²⁰ and blessed is God Most High, who hath delivered thine adversaries into thy hand;' and he giveth to him a tenth of all.

⁴ and make for me tasteful things, such as I have loved, and bring in to me, and I do eat, so that my soul doth bless thee before I die.'

⁹ and Joseph saith unto his father, `They are my sons, whom God hath given to me in this place;' and he saith, `Bring them, I pray thee, unto me, and I bless them.'

²⁸ All these are the twelve tribes of Israel, and this is that which their father hath spoken unto them, and he blesseth them; each according to his blessing he hath blessed them.

²³ `Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, saying, Thus ye do bless the sons of Israel, saying to them, <sup>24</sup> `Jehovah bless thee and keep thee; ²⁵ `Jehovah cause His face to shine upon thee, and favour thee; <sup>26</sup> `Jehovah lift up His countenance upon thee, and appoint for thee—peace. ²⁷ `And they have put My name upon the sons of Israel, and I—I do bless them.'

¹⁷ And having left them, he went forth out of the city to Bethany, and did lodge there,

¹⁶ and having taken them in his arms, having put his hands upon them, he was blessing them.

¹ And when they come nigh to Jerusalem, to Bethphage, and Bethany, unto the mount of the Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,

¹² Then did they return to Jerusalem from the mount that is called of Olives, that is near Jerusalem, a sabbath's journey;

⁵ and those, indeed, out of the sons of Levi receiving the priesthood, a command have to take tithes from the people according to the law, that is, their brethren, even though they came forth out of the loins of Abraham; ⁶ and he who was not reckoned by genealogy of them, received tithes from Abraham, and him having the promises he hath blessed, ⁷ and apart from all controversy, the less by the better is blessed—
