  2 G1161 And G3972 Paul, G2596 as G1486 [G5756] his manner was, G1525 [G5627] went in G4314 to G846 them, G2532 G1909 and G5140 on three G4521 sabbaths G1256 [G5711] dialogued G846 with them G575 from G1124 the scriptures,
  3 G1272 [G5723] Opening G2532 and G3908 [G5734] alleging, G3754 that G1163 [G5713] it was needful G5547 that Anointed G3958 [G5629] should suffer, G2532 and G450 [G5629] rise again G1537 from G3498 the dead; G2532 and G3754 that G3778 this G2424 Jesus, G3739 whom G1473 I G2605 [G5719] announce G5213 to you, G2076 [G5748] is G5547 Anointed.
  4 G2532 And G5100 some G1537 of G846 them G3982 [G5681] were persuaded, G2532 and G4345 [G5681] consorted G3972 with Paul G2532 and G4609 Silas; G5037 and G4128 a multitude G4183 of many G4576 [G5740] of the revering G1672 Hellenes, G5037 and G3588 of the G4413 foremost G1135 women G3756 not G3641 a few.
  5 G1161 But G3588 the G2453 Judeans G544 [G5723] who believed not, G2206 [G5660] moved with zeal, G2532 and G4355 [G5642] took to them G5100 certain G4190 wicked G435 fellows G60 of the baser sort, G2532 and G3792 [G5660] having gathered a crowd, G2350 [G5707] made a disruption G3588 in the G4172 city G5037 and G2186 [G5631] having stood by G5037 also G3614 the house G2394 of Jason, G2212 [G5707] sought G71 [G5629] to lead G846 them G1519 unto G3588 to the G1218 populace.
  6 G1161 And G2147 [G5631] having found G846 them G3361 not, G4951 [G5707] they drew G2394 Jason G2532 and G5100 certain G80 brethren G1909 to G3588 the G4173 rulers of the city, G994 [G5723] crying G3754 that, G3778 These G3588   G387 0 that have turned G3588 the G3625 inhabitable world G387 [G5660] upside down G3918 [G5748] have come G1759 here G2532 also;
  7 G3739 Whom G2394 Jason G5264 [G5766] hath received: G2532 and G3778 these G3956 all G4238 [G5719] do G561 contrary G1378 to the decrees G2541 of Caesar, G3004 [G5723] saying G1511 [G5750] that there is G2087 another G935 king, G2424 one Jesus.
  8 G1161 And G5015 [G5656] they disturbed G3588 the G3793 crowd G2532 and G4173 the rulers of the city, G191 [G5723] hearing G5023 these things.
  9 G2532 And G2983 [G5631] having taken G2425 sufficient security G3844 from G3588   G2394 Jason, G2532 and G3588 of the G3062 rest, G630 0 they set G846 them G630 [G5656] loose.
  10 G1161 And G80 the brethren G2112 immediately G1599 G5037 [G5656] sent away G3972 Paul G2532 and G4609 Silas G1223 by G3571 night G1519 to G960 Berea: G3748 who G3854 [G5637] coming G549 [G5713] there went G1519 into G4864 the synagogue G2453 of the Judeans.
  11 G1161   G3778 These G2258 [G5713] were G2104 more noble G1722 than those in G2332 Thessalonica, G3748 in that they G1209 [G5662] received G3056 the word G3326 with G3956 all G4288 readiness of mind, G350 [G5723] and examined G1124 the scriptures G2250 G2596 daily, G1487 whether G5023 those things G2192 [G5722] were G3779 so.
  12 G3767 G3303 Therefore G4183 many G1537 of G846 them G4100 [G5656] believed; G2532 also G2158 of decorous G1135 women G3588 who G1674 were Hellenists, G2532 and G435 of men, G3756 not G3641 a few.
  13 G1161 But G5613 when G2453 the Judeans G575 from G2332 Thessalonica G1097 [G5627] had knowledge G3754 G2532 that G3056 the word G2316 of God G2605 [G5648] was announced G5259 by G3972 Paul G1722 at G960 Berea, G2064 [G5627] they came G2546 there also, G4531 [G5723] wavering G3588 the G3793 crowds.
  14 G1161 And G5119 then G2112 immediately G80 the brethren G1821 [G5656] sent away G3972 Paul G4198 [G5738] to go G5613 as it were G1909 to G2281 the sea: G1161 G5037 but G4609 Silas G2532 and G5095 Timothy G5278 0 abode G1563 there G5278 [G5707] still.
  15 G1161 And G2525 [G5723] they that conducted G3972 Paul G71 [G5627] led G846 him G2193 to G116 Athens: G2532 and G2983 [G5631] receiving G1785 a commandment G4314 to G4609 Silas G2532 and G5095 Timothy G2443 to G2064 [G5632] come G4314 to G846 him G5613 G5033 with all speed, G1826 [G5713] they departed.
  16 G1161 Now G3972 while Paul G1551 [G5740] waited for G846 them G1722 at G116 Athens, G846 his G4151 spirit G3947 [G5712] was stirred G1722 in G846 him, G2334 [G5723] when he saw G4172 the city G5607 [G5752] wholly given G2712 to idolatry.
  17 G3767 G3303 Therefore G1256 [G5711] he dialogued G1722 in G4864 the synagogue G2453 with the Judeans, G2532 and G3588 with the ones G4576 [G5740] revering, G2532 and G1722 in G58 the market G2596 G3956 G2250 daily G4314 with G3909 [G5723] them that met with him.
  18 G1161 Then G5100 certain G5386 philosophers G1946 of the Epicureans, G2532 and G4770 of the Stoics, G4820 [G5707] engaged with G846 him. G2532 And G5100 some G3004 [G5707] said, G5101 What G302 G2309 [G5722] will G3778 this G4691 seed picker G3004 [G5721] say? G1161 and G3588 some others, G1380 [G5719] He seemeth G1511 [G5750] to be G2604 a proclaimer G3581 of strange G1140 demons: G3754 because G2097 [G5710] he announced good news G846 to them G2424 of Jesus, G2532 and G386 the resurrection.
  19 G5037 And G1949 [G5637] they took G846 him, G71 [G5627] and led him G1909 to G697 Areopagus, G3004 [G5723] saying, G1410 [G5736] May G1097 [G5629] we know G5101 what G3778 this G2537 new G1322 teaching G5259 is, of which G4675 thou G2980 [G5746] speakest?
  20 G1063 For G1533 [G5719] thou bringest G5100 certain G3579 [G5723] strange things G1519 to G2257 our G189 ears: G1014 [G5736] we would G1097 [G5629] know G3767 therefore G5101 what G5023 these things G302 G2309 G1511 [G5722] mean.
  21 G1161 (For G3956 all G117 the Athenians G2532 and G3581 strangers G3588 who G1927 [G5723] were there G2119 [G5707] spent their time G1519 in G3762 nothing G2087 else, G2228 but either G3004 [G5721] to tell, G2532 or G191 [G5721] to hear G5100 some G2537 new thing.)
  22 G1161 Then G3972 Paul G2476 [G5685] stood G1722 in G3319 the midst G697 of Mars' hill, G5346 [G5713] and said, G435 Ye men G117 of Athens, G2334 [G5719] I perceive G5613 that G2596 in G3956 all things G5209 ye G1174 are very fearful of the gods.
  23 G1063 For G1330 [G5740] as I passed by, G2532 and G333 [G5723] beheld G5216 your G4574 devotions, G2532 and G2147 [G5627] I found G1041 a shrine G1722 G3739 with this G1924 [G5718] inscription, G57 TO THE UNKNOWN G2316 GOD. G3739 Whom G3767 therefore G50 [G5723] ye ignorantly G2151 [G5719] are pious towards, G5126 him G2605 [G5719] announce G1473 I G5213 to you.
  24 G2316 God G4160 [G5660] that made G2889 the world G2532 and G3956 all things G1722 in G846 it, G3778 seeing that he G5225 [G5723] is G2962 Lord G3772 of heaven G2532 and G1093 earth, G2730 [G5719] dwelleth G3756 not G1722 in G3485 temples G5499 made with hands;
  25 G3761 Neither G2323 [G5743] is worshipped G5259 by G444 men's G5495 hands, G4326 [G5740] as though he needed G5100 any thing, G846 seeing he G1325 [G5723] giveth G3956 to all G2222 life, G2532 and G4157 respiration, G2596 and G3956 all things;
  26 G5037 Also, G1537 from out G1520 of one G129 blood G4160 [G5656] hath made G3956 every G1484 nation G444 of men G2730 [G5721] to dwell G1909 upon G3956 all G3588 the G4383 face G3588 of the G1093 earth, G3724 [G5660] having confirmed G4384 [G5772] prearranged G2540 seasons G2532 and G3588 the G3734 bounds G846 of their G2733 habitation;
  27 G2212 [G5721] That they should seek G2962 the Lord, G1487 if G686 perhaps G5584 [G5659] they might grope G846 after him, G2532 and G2147 [G5630] find him, G2544 though G5225 [G5723] he is G3756 not G3112 far G575 from G1538 every G1520 one G2257 of us:
  28 G1063 For G1722 in G846 him G2198 [G5719] we live, G2532 and G2795 [G5743] move, G2532 and G2070 [G5748] have our being; G5613 as G5100 certain G2532 also G5209 of your G2596 own G4163 poets G2046 [G5758] have said, G1063 For G2070 [G5748] we are G2532 also G5120 his G1085 offspring.
  29 G5225 [G5723] Being G3767 then G1085 the offspring G2316 of God, G3784 [G5719] we ought G3756 not G3543 [G5721] to think G3588 that the G2304 Godhead G1511 [G5750] is G3664 like G5557 gold, G2228 or G696 silver, G2228 or G3037 stone, G5480 an imprint G5078 of a craft, G2532 and G444 man's G1761 pondering.
  30 G3303 G3767 And G5550 the times G52 of this ignorance G2316 God G5237 [G5660] overlooked; G3569 but now G3853 [G5719] commandeth G3956 all G444 men G3837 every where G3340 [G5721] to change their minds:
  31 G1360 Because G2476 [G5656] he hath appointed G2250 a day, G1722 G3739 when G3195 [G5719] he will G2919 [G5721] judge G3588 the G3625 inhabitable world G1722 in G1343 righteousness G1722 by G435 that man G3739 whom G3724 [G5656] he hath confirmed; G3930 [G5631] having furnished G4102 faith G3956 to all men, G450 [G5660] having raised G846 him G1537 from out of G3498 dead ones.
  32 G1161 And G191 [G5660] when they heard G386 of the resurrection G3498 of the dead, G3303 some G5512 [G5707] mocked: G1161 and G2036 [G5627] others said, G191 [G5695] We will hear G4675 thee G3825 again G4012 concerning G5127 this matter.
  33 G2532 G3779 So G3972 Paul G1831 [G5627] departed G1537 from G3319 among G846 them.
  34 G1161 But G5100 certain G435 men G2853 [G5685] joined themselves G846 to him, G4100 [G5656] and believed: G1722 among G3739 G2532 whom G1354 was Dionysius G698 the Areopagite, G2532 and G1135 a woman G3686 named G1152 Damaris, G2532 and G2087 others G4862 with G846 them.
