Deuteronomy 7 When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land where thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations at the face of thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;

1 H3068 When the LORD H430 thy God H935 [H8686] shall bring H776 thee into the land H935 [H8802] where thou goest H3423 [H8800] to possess H5394 [H8804] it, and hath cast out H7227 many H1471 nations H6440 at the face of H2850 thee, the Hittites, H1622 and the Girgashites, H567 and the Amorites, H3669 and the Canaanites, H6522 and the Perizzites, H2340 and the Hivites, H2983 and the Jebusites, H7651 seven H1471 nations H7227 greater H6099 and mightier than thou;

2 H3068 And when the LORD H430 thy God H5414 [H8804] shall give H6440 them at the face of H5221 [H8689] thee; thou shalt smite H2763 [H8687] them, and utterly H2763 [H8686] seclude H3772 [H8799] them; thou shalt make H1285 no testament H2603 [H8799] with them, nor show favour to them:

3 H2859 [H8691] Neither shalt thou make marriages H1323 with them; thy daughter H5414 [H8799] thou shalt not give H1121 to his son, H1323 nor his daughter H3947 [H8799] shalt thou take H1121 to thy son.

4 H5493 [H8686] For they will turn away H1121 thy son H310 from following H5647 [H8804] me, that they may serve H312 other H430 gods: H639 so will the anger H3068 of the LORD H2734 [H8804] be kindled H8045 [H8689] against you, and desolate H4118 thee suddenly.

5 H6213 [H8799] But thus shall ye deal H5422 [H8799] with them; ye shall tear down H4196 their altars, H7665 [H8762] and break down H4676 their images, H1438 [H8762] and cut down H842 their groves, H8313 [H8799] and burn H6456 their graven images H784 with fire.

6 H6918 For thou art an holy H5971 people H3068 to the LORD H430 thy God: H3068 the LORD H430 thy God H977 [H8804] hath chosen H5459 thee to be a special H5971 people H5971 to himself, above all people H6440 that are upon the face H127 of the soil.

7 H3068 The LORD H2836 [H8804] did not set his love H977 [H8799] upon you, nor choose H7230 you, because ye were more H5971 in number than any people; H4592 for ye were the fewest H5971 of all people:

8 H3068 But because the LORD H160 loved H8104 [H8800] you, and because he would keep H7621 the oath H7650 [H8738] which he had sworn H1 to your fathers, H3068 hath the LORD H3318 [H8689] brought you out H2389 with a mighty H3027 hand, H6299 [H8799] and ransomed H1004 you from the house H5650 of bondage, H3027 from the hand H6547 of Pharaoh H4428 king H4714 of Egypt.

9 H3045 [H8804] Know H3068 therefore that the LORD H430 thy God, H430 he is God, H539 [H8737] the faithful H410 God, H8104 [H8802] who keepeth H1285 testament H2617 and mercy H157 [H8802] with them that love H8104 [H8802] him and keep H4687 his commandments H505 to a thousand H1755 generations;

10 H7999 [H8764] And repayeth H8130 [H8802] them that hate H6440 him to their face, H6 [H8687] to make them lost: H309 [H8762] he will not be slack H8130 [H8802] to him that hateth H7999 [H8762] him, he will repay H6440 him to his face.

11 H8104 [H8804] Thou shalt therefore keep H4687 the commandments, H2706 and the statutes, H4941 and the judgments, H6680 [H8764] which I command H3117 thee this day, H6213 [H8800] to do them.

12 H6118 Therefore it shall come to pass, if H8085 [H8799] ye hearken H4941 to these judgments, H8104 [H8804] and keep, H6213 [H8804] and do H3068 them, that the LORD H430 thy God H8104 [H8804] shall keep H1285 to thee the testament H2617 and the mercy H7650 [H8738] which he swore H1 to thy fathers:

13 H157 [H8804] And he will love H1288 [H8765] thee, and bless H7235 [H8689] thee, and multiply H1288 [H8765] thee: he will also bless H6529 the fruit H990 of thy womb, H6529 and the fruit H127 of thy soil, H1715 thy grain, H8492 and thy wine, H3323 and thy oil, H7698 the increase H504 of thy cattle, H6251 and the flocks H6629 of thy sheep, H127 in the soil H7650 [H8738] which he swore H1 to thy fathers H5414 [H8800] to give thee.

14 H1288 [H8803] Thou shalt be blessed H5971 above all people: H6135 there shall not be male H6135 or female barren H929 among you, or among your cattle.

15 H3068 And the LORD H5493 [H8689] will take away H2483 from thee all sickness, H7760 [H8799] and will put H7451 none of the evil H4064 diseases H4714 of Egypt, H3045 [H8804] which thou knowest, H5414 [H8804] upon thee; but will lay H8130 [H8802] them upon all them that hate thee.

16 H398 [H8804] And thou shalt consume H5971 all the people H3068 which the LORD H430 thy God H5414 [H8802] shall give H5869 to thee; thine eye H2347 [H8799] shall have no pity H5647 [H8799] upon them: neither shalt thou serve H430 their gods; H4170 for that will be a snare to thee.

17 H559 [H8799] If thou shalt say H3824 in thy heart, H1471 These nations H7227 are more H349 than I; how H3201 [H8799] can H3423 [H8687] I dispossess them?

18 H3372 [H8799] Thou shalt not be afraid H2142 [H8800] of them: but shalt well H2142 [H8799] remember H3068 what the LORD H430 thy God H6213 [H8804] did H6547 to Pharaoh, H4714 and to all Egypt;

19 H1419 The great H4531 temptations H5869 which thine eyes H7200 [H8804] saw, H226 and the signs, H4159 and the wonders, H2389 and the mighty H3027 hand, H5186 [H8803] and the outstretched H2220 arm, H3068 by which the LORD H430 thy God H3318 [H8689] brought thee out: H3068 so shall the LORD H430 thy God H6213 [H8799] do H5971 to all the people H3373 H6440 of whom thou art afraid.

20 H3068 Moreover the LORD H430 thy God H7971 [H8762] will send H6880 the hornet H7604 [H8737] among them, until they that are left, H5641 [H8737] and hide H6440 themselves from H6 [H8800] thee, shall be made lost.

21 H6206 [H8799] Thou shalt not be terrified H6440 of H3068 them: for the LORD H430 thy God H7130 is among H1419 you, a mighty H410 God H3372 [H8737] and terrible.

22 H3068 And the LORD H430 thy God H5394 [H8804] will drive out H411 those H1471 nations H6440 at the face of H4592 thee by little H4592 and little: H3201 [H8799] thou mayest H3615 [H8763] not consume H4118 them at once, H2416 lest the beasts H7704 of the field H7235 [H8799] increase upon thee.

23 H3068 But the LORD H430 thy God H5414 [H8804] shall give H6440 them to thee, H1949 [H8804] and shall make them in an uproar H1419 with a mighty H4103 uproar, H8045 [H8736] until they are made desolate.

24 H5414 [H8804] And he shall give H4428 their kings H3027 into thine hand, H6 [H8689] and thou shalt make lost H8034 their name H8064 from under heaven: H376 there shall no man H3320 [H8691] be able to stand H6440 at the face of H8045 [H8687] thee, until thou shalt have made them desolate.

25 H6456 The graven images H430 of their gods H8313 [H8799] shall ye burn H784 with fire: H2530 [H8799] thou shalt not desire H3701 the silver H2091 or gold H3947 [H8804] that is on them, nor take H3369 [H8735] it to thee, lest thou shouldest be snared H8441 in it: for it is an abomination H3068 to the LORD H430 thy God.

26 H935 [H8686] Neither shalt thou bring H8441 an abomination H1004 into thine house, H2764 lest thou shouldest be a secluded thing H8262 [H8763] like it: but thou shalt consider it utterly H8262 [H8762] filthy, H8581 [H8763] and thou shalt utterly H8581 [H8762] abhor H2764 it; for it is a secluded thing.
