Ezekiel 28 The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,

2 H1121 Son H120 of man, H559 [H8798] say H5057 to the prince H6865 of Tyre, H559 [H8804] Thus saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD; H3820 Because thine heart H1361 [H8804] is lifted up, H559 [H8799] and thou hast said, H410 I am a God, H3427 [H8804] I sit H4186 in the seat H430 of God, H3820 in the midst H3220 of the seas; H120 yet thou art a man, H410 and not God, H5414 [H8799] though thou settest H3820 thine heart H3820 as the heart H430 of God:

3 H2450 Behold, thou art wiser H1840 than Daniel; H5640 [H8803] there is no secret H6004 [H8804] that they can hide from thee:

4 H2451 With thy wisdom H8394 and with thine understanding H6213 [H8804] thou hast gained for H2428 thee riches, H6213 [H8799] and hast gained H2091 gold H3701 and silver H214 into thy treasuries:

5 H7230 By thy abundant H2451 wisdom H7404 and by thy merchandise H7235 [H8689] hast thou increased H2428 thy riches, H3824 and thy heart H1361 [H8799] is lifted up H2428 because of thy riches:

6 H559 [H8804] Therefore thus saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD; H5414 [H8800] Because thou hast set H3820 thine heart H3824 as the heart H430 of God;

7 H935 [H8688] Behold, therefore I will bring H2114 [H8801] strangers H6184 upon thee, the terrible H1471 of the nations: H7324 [H8689] and they shall draw H2719 their swords H3308 against the beauty H2451 of thy wisdom, H2490 [H8765] and they shall defile H3314 thy brightness.

8 H3381 [H8686] They shall bring thee down H7845 to the pit, H4191 [H8804] and thou shalt die H4463 the deaths H2491 of them that are slain H3820 in the midst H3220 of the seas.

9 H559 [H8800] Wilt thou yet H559 [H8799] say H6440 at the face of H2026 [H8802] him that slayeth H430 thee, I am God? H120 but thou shalt be a man, H410 and no God, H3027 in the hand H2490 [H8764] of him that slayeth thee.

10 H4191 [H8799] Thou shalt die H4194 the deaths H6189 of the uncircumcised H3027 by the hand H2114 [H8801] of strangers: H1696 [H8765] for I have spoken H5002 [H8803] it, saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD.

11 H1697 Moreover the word H3068 of the LORD H559 [H8800] came to me, saying,

12 H1121 Son H120 of man, H5375 [H8798] take up H7015 a lamentation H4428 upon the king H6865 of Tyre, H559 [H8804] and say H559 [H8804] to him, Thus saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD; H2856 [H8802] Thou sealest up H8508 the sum, H4392 full H2451 of wisdom, H3632 and perfect H3308 in beauty.

13 H5731 Thou hast been in Eden H1588 the garden H430 of God; H3368 every precious H68 stone H4540 was thy covering, H124 the sardius, H6357 topaz, H3095 and the diamond, H8658 the beryl, H7718 the onyx, H3471 and the jasper, H5601 the sapphire, H5306 the emerald, H1304 and the carbuncle, H2091 and gold: H4399 the workmanship H8596 of thy tabrets H5345 and of thy pipes H3559 [H8797] was prepared H3117 in thee in the day H1254 [H8736] that thou wast created.

14 H4473 Thou art the anointed H3742 cherub H5526 [H8802] that covereth; H5414 [H8804] and I have set H6944 thee so: thou wast upon the holy H2022 mountain H430 of God; H1980 [H8694] thou hast walked up and down H8432 in the midst H68 of the stones H784 of fire.

15 H8549 Thou wast perfect H1870 in thy ways H3117 from the day H1254 [H8736] that thou wast created, H5766 till distortion H4672 [H8738] was found in thee.

16 H7230 By the abundance H7404 of thy merchandise H4390 [H8804] they have filled H8432 the midst H2555 of thee with violence, H2398 [H8799] and thou hast sinned: H2490 [H8762] therefore I will cast thee as profane H2022 out of the mountain H430 of God: H6 [H8762] and I will destroy H5526 [H8802] thee, O covering H3742 cherub, H8432 from the midst H68 of the stones H784 of fire.

17 H3820 Thine heart H1361 [H8804] was lifted up H3308 because of thy beauty, H7843 [H8765] thou hast decayed H2451 thy wisdom H5921 by reason of H3314 thy brightness: H7993 [H8689] I will cast H776 thee to the earth, H5414 [H8804] I will lay H6440 thee at the face of H4428 kings, H7200 [H8800] that they may behold thee.

18 H2490 [H8765] Thou hast defiled H4720 thy sanctuaries H7230 by the abundance H5771 of thy perversities, H5766 by the distortion H7404 of thy merchandise; H3318 [H8686] therefore will I bring forth H784 a fire H8432 from the midst H398 [H8804] of thee, it shall devour H5414 [H8799] thee, and I will bring H665 thee to ashes H776 upon the earth H5869 in the eyes H7200 [H8802] of all them that behold thee.

19 H3045 [H8802] All they that know H5971 thee among the people H8074 [H8804] shall be astonished H1091 at thee: thou shalt be a terror, H369 and never H5704 H5769 shalt thou be any more.

20 H1697 Again the word H3068 of the LORD H559 [H8800] came to me, saying,

21 H1121 Son H120 of man, H7760 [H8798] set H6440 thy face H6721 against Zidon, H5012 [H8734] and prophesy against it,

22 H559 [H8804] And say, H559 [H8804] Thus saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD; H6721 Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; H3513 [H8738] and I will be glorified H8432 in the midst H3045 [H8804] of thee: and they shall know H3068 that I am the LORD, H6213 [H8800] when I shall have executed H8201 judgments H6942 [H8738] in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

23 H7971 [H8765] For I will send H1698 into her pestilence, H1818 and blood H2351 into her streets; H2491 and the wounded H5307 [H8768] shall be judged H8432 in the midst H2719 of her by the sword H5439 upon her on every side; H3045 [H8804] and they shall know H3068 that I am the LORD.

24 H3992 [H8688] And there shall be no more a pricking H5544 brier H1004 to the house H3478 of Israel, H3510 [H8688] nor any grieving H6975 thorn H5439 of all that are around H7590 [H8801] them, that despised H3045 [H8804] them; and they shall know H136 that I am the Sovereign H3069 LORD.

25 H559 [H8804] Thus saith H136 the Sovereign H3069 LORD; H6908 [H8763] When I shall have gathered H1004 the house H3478 of Israel H5971 from the people H6327 [H8738] among whom they are scattered, H6942 [H8738] and shall be sanctified H5869 in them in the eyes H1471 of the nations, H3427 [H8804] then shall they dwell H127 in their soil H5414 [H8804] that I have given H5650 to my servant H3290 Jacob.

26 H3427 [H8804] And they shall dwell H983 safely H1129 [H8804] in it, and shall build H1004 houses, H5193 [H8804] and plant H3754 vineyards; H3427 [H8804] yea, they shall dwell H983 with confidence, H6213 [H8800] when I have executed H8201 judgments H7590 [H8801] upon all those that despise H5439 them around H3045 [H8804] them; and they shall know H3068 that I am the LORD H430 their God.
