  1 H3290 Then Jacob H5375 [H8799] went on H7272 his journey, H3212 [H8799] and came H776 into the land H1121 of the people H6924 of the east.
  2 H7200 [H8799] And he looked, H875 and behold a well H7704 in the field, H7969 and, lo, there were three H5739 flocks H6629 of sheep H7257 [H8802] crouching H875 by it; for out of that well H8248 [H8686] they watered H5739 the flocks: H1419 and a great H68 stone H875 was upon the well's H6310 mouth.
  3 H5739 And there were all the flocks H622 [H8738] gathered: H1556 [H8804] and they rolled H68 the stone H875 from the well's H6310 mouth, H8248 [H8689] and watered H6629 the sheep, H7725 0 and put H68 the stone H7725 [H8689] again H875 upon the well's H6310 mouth H4725 in its place.
  4 H3290 And Jacob H559 [H8799] said H251 to them, My brethren, H370 from where H559 [H8799] are ye? And they said, H2771 We are from Haran.
  5 H559 [H8799] And he said H3045 [H8804] to them, Know H3837 ye Laban H1121 the son H5152 of Nahor? H559 [H8799] And they said, H3045 [H8804] We know him.
  6 H559 [H8799] And he said H7965 to them, Is he well? H559 [H8799] And they said, H7965 He is well: H7354 and, behold, Rachel H1323 his daughter H935 [H8802] cometh H6629 with the sheep.
  7 H559 [H8799] And he said, H2005 Lo, H1419 it is yet high H3117 day, H6256 neither is it time H4735 that the cattle H622 [H8736] should be gathered together: H8248 [H8685] water H6629 ye the sheep, H3212 [H8798] and go H7462 [H8798] and feed them.
  8 H559 [H8799] And they said, H3201 [H8799] We cannot, H5739 until all the flocks H622 [H8735] are gathered together, H1556 [H8804] and till they roll H68 the stone H875 from the well's H6310 mouth; H8248 [H8689] then we water H6629 the sheep.
  9 H5750 And while he was yet H1696 [H8764] speaking H7354 with them, Rachel H935 [H8804] came H1 with her father's H6629 sheep: H7462 [H8802] for she kept them.
  10 H3290 And it came to pass, when Jacob H7200 [H8804] saw H7354 Rachel H1323 the daughter H3837 of Laban H517 his mother's H251 brother, H6629 and the sheep H3837 of Laban H517 his mother's H251 brother, H3290 that Jacob H5066 [H8799] went near, H1556 [H8686] and rolled H68 the stone H875 from the well's H6310 mouth, H8248 [H8686] and watered H6629 the flock H3837 of Laban H517 his mother's H251 brother.
  11 H3290 And Jacob H5401 [H8799] kissed H7354 Rachel, H5375 [H8799] and lifted up H6963 his voice, H1058 [H8799] and wept.
  12 H3290 And Jacob H5046 [H8686] told H7354 Rachel H1 that he was her father's H251 brother, H7259 and that he was Rebekah's H1121 son: H7323 [H8799] and she ran H5046 [H8686] and told H1 her father.
  13 H3837 And it came to pass, when Laban H8085 [H8800] heard H8088 the tidings H3290 of Jacob H269 his sister's H1121 son, H7323 [H8799] that he ran H7125 [H8800] to meet H2263 [H8762] him, and embraced H5401 [H8762] him, and kissed H935 [H8686] him, and brought H1004 him to his house. H5608 [H8762] And he told H3837 Laban H1697 all these things.
  14 H3837 And Laban H559 [H8799] said H389 to him, Surely H6106 thou art my bone H1320 and my flesh. H3427 [H8799] And he abode H3117 with him the space H2320 of a month.
  15 H3837 And Laban H559 [H8799] said H3290 to Jacob, H251 Because thou art my brother, H5647 [H8804] shouldest thou therefore serve H2600 me for nothing? H5046 [H8685] tell H4909 me, what shall thy wages be?
  16 H3837 And Laban H8147 had two H1323 daughters: H8034 the name H1419 of the elder H3812 was Leah, H8034 and the name H6996 of the younger H7354 was Rachel.
  17 H3812 Leah H7390 was tender H5869 eyed; H7354 but Rachel H3303 H8389 was beautiful H3303 and well H4758 favoured.
  18 H3290 And Jacob H157 [H8799] loved H7354 Rachel; H559 [H8799] and said, H5647 [H8799] I will serve H7651 thee seven H8141 years H7354 for Rachel H6996 thine younger H1323 daughter.
  19 H3837 And Laban H559 [H8799] said, H2896 It is better H5414 [H8800] that I give H5414 [H8800] her to thee, than that I should give H312 her to another H376 man: H3427 [H8798] abide with me.
  20 H3290 And Jacob H5647 [H8799] served H7651 seven H8141 years H7354 for Rachel; H5869 and they seemed H259 to him but a few H3117 days, H160 for the love he had for her.
  21 H3290 And Jacob H559 [H8799] said H3837 to Laban, H3051 [H8798] Give H802 me my wife, H3117 for my days H4390 [H8804] are fulfilled, H935 [H8799] that I may go in to her.
  22 H3837 And Laban H622 [H8799] gathered together H582 all the men H4725 of the place, H6213 [H8799] and made H4960 a feast.
  23 H6153 And it came to pass in the evening, H3947 [H8799] that he took H3812 Leah H1323 his daughter, H935 [H8686] and brought H935 [H8799] her to him; and he went in to her.
  24 H3837 And Laban H5414 [H8799] gave H1323 to his daughter H3812 Leah H2153 Zilpah H8198 his maid H8198 for an handmaid.
  25 H1242 And it came to pass, that in the morning, H3812 behold, it was Leah: H559 [H8799] and he said H3837 to Laban, H6213 [H8804] What is this thou hast done H5647 [H8804] to me? did I not serve H7354 with thee for Rachel? H7411 [H8765] why then hast thou deceived me?
  26 H3837 And Laban H559 [H8799] said, H6213 [H8735] It must not be so done H4725 in our country, H5414 [H8800] to give H6810 the younger H6440 at the face of H1067 the firstborn.
  27 H4390 [H8761] Fulfil H2063 her H7620 week, H5414 [H8799] and we will give H5656 thee this also for the service H5647 [H8799] which thou shalt serve H7651 with me yet seven H312 other H8141 years.
  28 H3290 And Jacob H6213 [H8799] did H4390 [H8762] so, and fulfilled H7620 her week: H5414 [H8799] and he gave H7354 him Rachel H1323 his daughter H802 for a wife also.
  29 H3837 And Laban H5414 [H8799] gave H7354 to Rachel H1323 his daughter H1090 Bilhah H8198 his handmaid H8198 to be her maid.
  30 H935 [H8799] And he went in H7354 also to Rachel, H157 [H8799] and he loved H7354 also Rachel H3812 more than Leah, H5647 [H8799] and served H7651 with him yet seven H312 other H8141 years.
  31 H3068 And when the LORD H7200 [H8799] saw H3812 that Leah H8130 [H8803] was hated, H6605 [H8799] he opened H7358 her womb: H7354 but Rachel H6135 was barren.
  32 H3812 And Leah H2029 [H8799] conceived, H3205 [H8799] and bore H1121 a son, H7121 [H8799] and she called H8034 his name H7205 Reuben: H3588 for H559 [H8804] she said, H3588 Surely H3068 the LORD H7200 [H8804] hath looked H6040 upon my affliction; H3588 now therefore H376 my husband H157 [H8799] will love me.
  33 H2029 [H8799] And she conceived H3205 [H8799] again, and bore H1121 a son; H559 [H8799] and said, H3068 Because the LORD H8085 [H8804] hath heard H8130 [H8803] that I was hated, H5414 [H8799] he hath therefore given H7121 [H8799] me this son also: and she called H8034 his name H8095 Simeon.
  34 H2029 [H8799] And she conceived again, H3205 [H8799] and bore H1121 a son; H559 [H8799] and said, H6471 Now this time H376 will my husband H3867 [H8735] love H3205 [H8804] me, because I have borne H7969 him three H1121 sons: H8034 therefore was his name H7121 [H8804] called H3878 Levi.
  35 H2029 [H8799] And she conceived H3205 [H8799] again, and bore H1121 a son: H559 [H8799] and she said, H6471 Now H3034 [H8686] will I praise H3068 the LORD: H7121 [H8804] therefore she called H8034 his name H3063 Judah; H5975 [H8799] and stopped H3205 [H8800] bearing.
