Jeremiah 7:21-28

  21 H559 [H8804] Thus saith H3068 the LORD H6635 of hosts, H430 the God H3478 of Israel; H5595 [H8798] Put H5930 your burnt offerings H2077 to your sacrifices, H398 [H8798] and eat H1320 flesh.

  22 H1696 [H8765] For I spoke H1 not to your fathers, H6680 [H8765] nor commanded H3117 them in the day H3318 [H8687] that I brought them out H776 of the land H4714 of Egypt, H1697 concerning H5930 burnt offerings H2077 or sacrifices:

  23 H1697 But this thing H6680 [H8765] I commanded H559 [H8800] them, saying, H8085 [H8798] Obey H6963 my voice, H430 and I will be your God, H5971 and ye shall be my people: H1980 [H8804] and walk H1870 ye in all the ways H6680 [H8762] that I have commanded H3190 [H8799] you, that it may be well to you.

  24 H8085 [H8804] But they hearkened H5186 [H8689] not, nor inclined H241 their ear, H3212 [H8799] but walked H4156 in the counsels H8307 and in the imagination H7451 of their evil H3820 heart, H268 and went backward, H6440 and not forward.

  25 H3117 Since the day H1 that your fathers H3318 [H8804] came forth from H776 the land H4714 of Egypt H3117 to this day H7971 [H8799] I have even sent H5650 to you all my servants H5030 the prophets, H3117 daily H7925 [H8687] rising early H7971 [H8800] and sending them:

  26 H8085 [H8804] Yet they hearkened H5186 [H8689] not to me, nor inclined H241 their ear, H7185 [H8686] but hardened H6203 their neck: H7489 [H8689] they did worse H1 than their fathers.

  27 H1696 [H8765] Therefore thou shalt speak H1697 all these words H8085 [H8799] to them; but they will not hearken H7121 [H8804] to thee: thou shalt also call H6030 [H8799] to them; but they will not answer thee.

  28 H559 [H8804] But thou shalt say H1471 to them, This is a nation H8085 [H8804] that obeyeth H6963 not the voice H3068 of the LORD H430 their God, H3947 [H8804] nor receiveth H4148 correction: H530 truth H6 [H8804] hath perished, H3772 [H8738] and is cut off H6310 from their mouth.
