Leviticus 10 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took each of them his censer, and put fire in it, and put incense on it, and offered strange fire at the face of the LORD, which he commanded them not.

1 H5070 And Nadab H30 and Abihu, H1121 the sons H175 of Aaron, H3947 [H8799] took H376 each H4289 of them his censer, H5414 [H8799] and put H784 fire H2004 in it, H7760 [H8799] and put H7004 incense H7126 [H8686] on it, and offered H2114 [H8801] strange H784 fire H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD, H6680 [H8765] which he commanded them not.

2 H3318 [H8799] And there went out H784 fire H3068 from the LORD, H398 [H8799] and devoured H4191 [H8799] them, and they died H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD.

3 H4872 Then Moses H559 [H8799] said H175 to Aaron, H3068 This is what the LORD H1696 [H8765] spoke, H559 [H8800] saying, H6942 [H8735] I will be sanctified H7138 in them that come near H6440 me, and at the face of H5971 all the people H3513 [H8735] I will be glorified. H175 And Aaron H1826 [H8799] held his peace.

4 H4872 And Moses H7121 [H8799] called H4332 Mishael H469 and Elzaphan, H1121 the sons H5816 of Uzziel H1730 the uncle H175 of Aaron, H559 [H8799] and said H7126 [H8798] to them, Come near, H5375 [H8798] carry H251 your brethren H6440 from the face of H6944 the sanctuary H2351 out H4264 of the camp.

5 H7126 [H8799] So they went near, H5375 [H8799] and carried H3801 them in their coats H2351 out H4264 of the camp; H4872 as Moses H1696 [H8765] had said.

6 H4872 And Moses H559 [H8799] said H175 to Aaron, H499 and to Eleazar H385 and to Ithamar, H1121 his sons, H6544 [H8799] Uncover H7218 not your heads, H6533 [H8799] neither rend H899 your clothes; H4191 [H8799] lest ye die, H7107 [H8799] and lest bursting out rage H5921 come upon H3605 all H9009 the H5712 company: H251 but let your brethren, H3605 the whole H1004 house H3478 of Israel, H1058 [H8799] bewail H8316 the burning H3068 which the LORD H8313 [H8804] hath kindled.

7 H3318 [H8799] And ye shall not go out H6607 from the door H168 of the tent H4150 of meeting, H4191 [H8799] lest ye die: H4888 for the anointing H8081 oil H3068 of the LORD H6213 [H8799] is upon you. And they did H1697 according to the word H4872 of Moses.

8 H3068 And the LORD H1696 [H8762] spoke H175 to Aaron, H559 [H8800] saying,

9 H8354 [H8799] Do not drink H3196 wine H7941 nor strong drink, H1121 thou, nor thy sons H935 [H8800] with thee, when ye go H168 into the tent H4150 of meeting, H4191 [H8799] lest ye die: H2708 it shall be a statute H5769 to the age H1755 throughout your generations:

10 H914 [H8687] And that ye may make a difference H6944 between holy H2455 and unholy, H2931 and between unclean H2889 and clean;

11 H3384 [H8687] And that ye may teach H1121 the sons H3478 of Israel H2706 all the statutes H3068 which the LORD H1696 [H8765] hath spoken H3027 to them by the hand H4872 of Moses.

12 H4872 And Moses H1696 [H8762] spoke H175 to Aaron, H499 and to Eleazar H385 and to Ithamar, H1121 his sons H3498 [H8737] that were left, H3947 [H8798] Take H4503 the meat offering H3498 [H8737] that remaineth H801 0 of the offerings H3068 of the LORD H801 made by fire, H398 [H8798] and eat H4682 it without leaven H681 beside H4196 the altar: H6944 for it is most H6944 holy:

13 H398 [H8804] And ye shall eat H6918 it in the holy H4725 place, H2706 because it is thy due, H1121 and thy sons' H2706 due, H801 0 of the sacrifices H3068 of the LORD H801 made by fire: H6680 [H8795] for so I am commanded.

14 H8573 And the wave H2373 breast H8641 and heave H7785 shoulder H398 [H8799] shall ye eat H2889 in a clean H4725 place; H1121 thou, and thy sons, H1323 and thy daughters H2706 with thee: for they are thy due, H1121 and thy sons' H2706 due, H5414 [H8738] which are given H2077 out of the sacrifices H8002 of peace offerings H1121 of the sons H3478 of Israel.

15 H8641 The heave H7785 shoulder H8573 and the wave H2373 breast H935 [H8686] shall they bring H801 with the offerings made by fire H2459 of the fat, H5130 [H8687] to wave H8573 it for a wave offering H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD; H1121 and it shall be thine, and thy sons' H2706 with thee, by a statute H5769 to the age; H3068 as the LORD H6680 [H8765] hath commanded.

16 H4872 And Moses H1875 [H8800] diligently H1875 [H8804] sought H8163 the goat H2403 of the sin offering, H8313 [H8795] and, behold, it was burnt: H7107 [H8799] and he burst out in rage H499 with Eleazar H385 and Ithamar, H1121 the sons H175 of Aaron H3498 [H8737] who were left H559 [H8800] alive, saying,

17 H398 [H8804] Why have ye not eaten H2403 the sin offering H6944 in the holy H4725 place, H6944 seeing it is most H6944 holy, H5414 [H8804] and God hath given H5375 [H8800] it you to bear H5771 the perversity H5712 of the company, H3722 [H8763] to make atonement H6440 for them at the face of H3068 the LORD?

18 H2005 Behold, H1818 the blood H935 [H8717] of it was not brought H6441 within H6944 the holy H398 [H8800] place: ye should indeed H398 [H8799] have eaten H6944 it in the holy H6680 [H8765] place, as I commanded.

19 H175 And Aaron H1696 [H8762] said H4872 to Moses, H3117 Behold, this day H7126 [H8689] have they offered H2403 their sin offering H5930 and their burnt offering H6440 at the face of H3068 the LORD; H7122 [H8799] and such things have befallen H398 [H8804] me: and if I had eaten H2403 the sin offering H3117 to day, H3190 [H8799] should it have been accepted H5869 in the eyes H3068 of the LORD?

20 H4872 And when Moses H8085 [H8799] heard H3190 H5869 [H8799] that, he was content.
