Numbers 24 And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.

2 H1109 And Balaam H5375 [H8799] lifted up H5869 his eyes, H7200 [H8799] and he saw H3478 Israel H7931 [H8802] abiding H7626 in his tents according to their tribes; H7307 and the spirit H430 of God came upon him.

3 H5375 [H8799] And he took up H4912 his parable, H559 [H8799] and said, H1109 Balaam H1121 the son H1160 of Beor H5002 [H8803] hath said, H1397 and the man H5869 whose eyes H8365 [H8803] are open H5002 [H8803] hath said:

4 H5002 [H8803] He hath said, H8085 [H8802] who heard H561 the words H410 of God, H2372 [H8799] who envisioned H4236 the vision H7706 of the Almighty, H5307 [H8802] falling H5869 into a trance, but having his eyes H1540 [H8803] open:

5 H2895 [H8804] How goodly H168 are thy tents, H3290 O Jacob, H4908 and thy tabernacles, H3478 O Israel!

6 H5158 As the valleys H5186 [H8738] are they spread forth, H1593 as gardens H5104 by the river's side, H174 as the trees of lign aloes H3068 which the LORD H5193 [H8804] hath planted, H730 and as cedar trees H4325 beside the waters.

7 H5140 0 He shall pour H4325 the water H5140 [H8799] out H1805 of his buckets, H2233 and his seed H7227 shall be in many H4325 waters, H4428 and his king H7311 [H8799] shall be higher H90 than Agag, H4438 and his kingdom H5375 [H8691] shall be exalted.

8 H410 God H3318 [H8688] brought him forth H4714 from Egypt; H8443 he hath as it were the strength H7214 of an unicorn: H398 [H8799] he shall eat up H1471 the nations H6862 his constricters, H1633 [H8762] and shall break H6106 their bones, H4272 [H8799] and pierce H2671 them through with his arrows.

10 H1111 And Balak's H639 anger H2734 [H8799] was kindled H1109 against Balaam, H5606 0 and he smote H3709 his palms H5606 [H8799] together: H1111 and Balak H559 [H8799] said H1109 to Balaam, H7121 [H8804] I called H6895 [H8800] thee to scoop out H341 [H8802] my enemies, H1288 [H8763] and, behold, thou hast altogether H1288 [H8765] blessed H7969 them these three H6471 times.

11 H1272 [H8798] Therefore now flee H4725 thou to thy place: H559 [H8804] I thought H3513 0 to promote H3513 [H8763] thee to great H3513 [H8762] honour; H3068 but, lo, the LORD H4513 [H8804] hath kept thee back H3519 from glory.

12 H1109 And Balaam H559 [H8799] said H1111 to Balak, H1696 [H8765] Did I not speak H4397 also to thy messengers H7971 [H8804] whom thou sentest H559 [H8800] to me, saying,

13 H1111 If Balak H5414 [H8799] would give H1004 me his house H4393 full H3701 of silver H2091 and gold, H3201 [H8799] I could not H5674 [H8800] go beyond H6310 the mouth H3068 of the LORD, H6213 [H8800] to do H2896 either good H7451 or bad H3820 of my own heart; H3068 but what the LORD H1696 [H8762] saith, H1696 [H8762] that will I speak?

14 H1980 [H8802] And now, behold, I go H5971 to my people: H3212 [H8798] come H3289 [H8799] therefore, I will advise H5971 thee what this people H6213 [H8799] shall do H5971 to thy people H319 in the latter H3117 days.

15 H5375 [H8799] And he took up H4912 his parable, H559 [H8799] and said, H1109 Balaam H1121 the son H1160 of Beor H5002 [H8803] hath said, H1397 and the man H5869 whose eyes H8365 [H8803] are open H5002 [H8803] hath said:

16 H5002 [H8803] He hath said, H8085 [H8802] who heard H561 the words H410 of God, H3045 [H8802] and knew H1847 the knowledge H5945 of the most High, H2372 [H8799] who envisioned H4236 the vision H7706 of the Almighty, H5307 [H8802] falling H5869 into a trance, but having his eyes H1540 [H8803] open:

17 H7200 [H8799] I shall see H7789 [H8799] him, but not now: I shall behold H7138 him, but not near: H1869 [H8804] there shall come H3556 a Star H3290 out of Jacob, H7626 and a Sceptre H6965 [H8804] shall rise H3478 out of Israel, H4272 [H8804] and shall smite H6285 the corners H4124 of Moab, H6979 [H8773] and throw forth H1121 all the sons H8352 H8351 [H8676] of Sheth.

18 H123 And Edom H3424 shall be a possession, H8165 Seir H3424 also shall be a possession H341 [H8802] for his enemies; H3478 and Israel H6213 [H8802] shall do H2428 valiantly.

19 H3290 Out of Jacob H7287 [H8799] shall come he that shall have dominion, H6 [H8689] and shall make lost H8300 him that remaineth H5892 of the city.

20 H7200 [H8799] And when he looked H6002 on Amalek, H5375 [H8799] he took up H4912 his parable, H559 [H8799] and said, H6002 Amalek H7225 was the first H1471 of the nations; H319 but his latter end shall be H8 that he shall be lost H5703 for ever.

21 H7200 [H8799] And he looked H7017 on the Kenites, H5375 [H8799] and took up H4912 his parable, H559 [H8799] and said, H386 Strong H4186 is thy dwellingplace, H7760 [H8798] and thou puttest H7064 thy nest H5553 in a rock.

22 H7014 Nevertheless the Kenite H518 shall H1197 [H8763] be wasted, H804 until Asshur H7617 [H8799] shall carry thee away captive.

23 H5375 [H8799] And he took up H4912 his parable, H559 [H8799] and said, H188 Alas, H2421 [H8799] who shall live H410 when God H7760 [H8800] doeth this!

24 H6716 And ships H3027 shall come from the coast H3794 of Chittim, H6031 [H8765] and shall afflict H804 Asshur, H6031 [H8765] and shall afflict H5677 Eber, H8 and he also shall be lost H5703 for ever.

25 H1109 And Balaam H6965 [H8799] arose, H3212 [H8799] and went H7725 [H8799] and returned H4725 to his place: H1111 and Balak H1980 [H8804] also went H1870 his way.
