  22 H7533 ויתרצצו struggled together H1121 הבנים And the children H7130 בקרבה within H559 ותאמר her; and she said, H518 אם If H3651 כן so, H4100 למה why H2088 זה thus? H595 אנכי I H1980 ותלך And she went H1875 לדרשׁ to inquire H853 את   H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

  22 H6030 ויען answered H7205 ראובן And Reuben H853 אתם   H559 לאמר them, saying, H3808 הלוא I not H559 אמרתי Spoke H413 אליכם unto H559 לאמר you, saying, H408 אל Do not H2398 תחטאו sin H3206 בילד against the child; H3808 ולא and ye would not H8085 שׁמעתם hear? H1571 וגם also H1818 דמו his blood H2009 הנה therefore, behold, H1875 נדרשׁ׃ is required.

  15 H559 ויאמר said H4872 משׁה And Moses H2859 לחתנו unto his father-in-law, H3588 כי Because H935 יבא come H413 אלי unto H5971 העם the people H1875 לדרשׁ me to inquire H430 אלהים׃ of God:

  16 H853 ואת   H8163 שׂעיר the goat H2403 החטאת of the sin offering, H1875 דרשׁ diligently sought H1875 דרשׁ diligently sought H4872 משׁה And Moses H2009 והנה and, behold, H8313 שׂרף it was burnt: H7107 ויקצף and he was angry H5921 על with H499 אלעזר Eleazar H5921 ועל   H385 איתמר and Ithamar, H1121 בני the sons H175 אהרן of Aaron H3498 הנותרם left H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  29 H1245 ובקשׁתם thou shalt seek H8033 משׁם   H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H4672 ומצאת thou shalt find H3588 כי if H1875 תדרשׁנו thou seek H3605 בכל him with all H3824 לבבך thy heart H3605 ובכל and with all H5315 נפשׁך׃ thy soul.

  12 H776 ארץ A land H834 אשׁר which H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H1875 דרשׁ careth H853 אתה   H8548 תמיד always H5869 עיני for the eyes H3068 יהוה of the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H7225 בה מרשׁית upon it, from the beginning H8141 השׁנה of the year H5704 ועד even unto H319 אחרית the end H8141 שׁנה׃ of the year.

  5 H3588 כי   H518 אם   H413 אל unto H4725 המקום the place H834 אשׁר which H977 יבחר shall choose H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H3605 מכל out of all H7626 שׁבטיכם your tribes H7760 לשׂום to put H853 את   H8034 שׁמו his name H8033 שׁם there, H7933 לשׁכנו unto his habitation H1875 תדרשׁו shall ye seek, H935 ובאת thou shalt come: H8033 שׁמה׃ and thither

  30 H8104 השׁמר Take heed H6435 לך פן to thyself that H5367 תנקשׁ thou be not snared H310 אחריהם by following H310 אחרי them, after that H8045 השׁמדם they be destroyed H6440 מפניך from before H6435 ופן thee; and that H1875 תדרשׁ thou inquire H430 לאלהיהם not after their gods, H559 לאמר saying, H349 איכה How H5647 יעבדו serve H1471 הגוים nations H428 האלה did these H853 את   H430 אלהיהם their gods? H6213 ואעשׂה do H3651 כן even so H1571 גם likewise. H589 אני׃ will I

  14 H1875 ודרשׁת Then shalt thou inquire, H2713 וחקרת and make search, H7592 ושׁאלת and ask H3190 היטב diligently; H2009 והנה and, behold, H571 אמת truth, H3559 נכון certain, H1697 הדבר the thing H6213 נעשׂתה is wrought H8441 התועבה abomination H2063 הזאת such H7130 בקרבך׃ among

  4 H5046 והגד And it be told H8085 לך ושׁמעת thee, and thou hast heard H1875 ודרשׁת and inquired H3190 היטב diligently, H2009 והנה and, behold, H571 אמת true, H3559 נכון certain, H1697 הדבר the thing H6213 נעשׂתה is wrought H8441 התועבה abomination H2063 הזאת such H3478 בישׂראל׃ in Israel:

  9 H935 ובאת And thou shalt come H413 אל unto H3548 הכהנים the priests H3881 הלוים the Levites, H413 ואל and unto H8199 השׁפט the judge H834 אשׁר that H1961 יהיה shall be H3117 בימים days, H1992 ההם in those H1875 ודרשׁת and inquire; H5046 והגידו and they shall show H853 לך את   H1697 דבר thee the sentence H4941 המשׁפט׃ of judgment:

  11 H2266 וחבר   H2267 חבר   H7592 ושׁאל or a consulter H178 אוב with familiar spirits, H3049 וידעני or a wizard, H1875 ודרשׁ or a necromancer. H413 אל   H4191 המתים׃  

  19 H1961 והיה And it shall come to pass, H376 האישׁ whosoever H834 אשׁר whosoever H3808 לא will not H8085 ישׁמע hearken H413 אל unto H1697 דברי my words H834 אשׁר which H1696 ידבר he shall speak H8034 בשׁמי in my name, H595 אנכי I H1875 אדרשׁ will require H5973 מעמו׃ of

  18 H1875 ודרשׁו shall make diligent inquisition: H8199 השׁפטים And the judges H3190 היטב shall make diligent inquisition: H2009 והנה and, behold, H5707 עד the witness H8267 שׁקר a false H5707 העד witness, H8267 שׁקר falsely H6030 ענה hath testified H251 באחיו׃ against his brother;

  2 H518 ואם And if H3808 לא not H7138 קרוב nigh H251 אחיך thy brother H413 אליך unto H3808 ולא him not, H3045 ידעתו thee, or if thou know H622 ואספתו then thou shalt bring H413 אל it unto H8432 תוך it unto H1004 ביתך thine own house, H1961 והיה and it shall be H5973 עמך with H5704 עד thee until H1875 דרשׁ seek after H251 אחיך thy brother H853 אתו   H7725 והשׁבתו׃ it, and thou shalt restore

  6 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H1875 תדרשׁ seek H7965 שׁלמם their peace H2896 וטבתם nor their prosperity H3605 כל all H3117 ימיך thy days H5769 לעולם׃ forever.

  21 H3588 כי When H5087 תדר thou shalt vow H5088 נדר a vow H3068 ליהוה unto the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God, H3808 לא thou shalt not H309 תאחר slack H7999 לשׁלמו to pay H3588 כי it: for H1875 דרשׁ will surely require H1875 ידרשׁנו will surely require H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H5973 מעמך it of H1961 והיה thee; and it would be H2399 בך חטא׃ sin

  29 H559 ויאמרו And they said H376 אישׁ one H413 אל to H7453 רעהו another, H4310 מי Who H6213 עשׂה hath done H1697 הדבר thing? H2088 הזה this H1875 וידרשׁו And when they inquired H1245 ויבקשׁו and asked, H559 ויאמרו they said, H1439 גדעון Gideon H1121 בן the son H3101 יואשׁ of Joash H6213 עשׂה hath done H1697 הדבר thing. H2088 הזה׃ this

  9 H6440 לפנים (Formerly H3478 בישׂראל in Israel, H3541 כה thus H559 אמר he spoke, H376 האישׁ when a man H1980 בלכתו went H1875 לדרושׁ to inquire H430 אלהים of God, H1980 לכו Come, H1980 ונלכה and let us go H5704 עד to H7203 הראה   H3588 כי for H5030 לנביא a Prophet H3117 היום now H7121 יקרא called H6440 לפנים was formerly H7203 הראה׃  

  7 H559 ויאמר Then said H7586 שׁאול Saul H5650 לעבדיו unto his servants, H1245 בקשׁו Seek H802 לי אשׁת me a woman H1172 בעלת that hath H178 אוב a familiar spirit, H1980 ואלכה that I may go H413 אליה to H1875 ואדרשׁה her, and inquire H559 בה ויאמרו said H5650 עבדיו of her. And his servants H413 אליו to H2009 הנה him, Behold, H802 אשׁת a woman H1172 בעלת that hath H178 אוב a familiar spirit H5874 בעין דור׃ at Endor.

  3 H7971 וישׁלח sent H1732 דוד And David H1875 וידרשׁ and inquired H802 לאשׁה after the woman. H559 ויאמר And said, H3808 הלוא not H2063 זאת this H1339 בת\'ceשׁבע Bath-sheba, H1323 בת the daughter H463 אליעם of Eliam, H802 אשׁת the wife H223 אוריה of Uriah H2850 החתי׃ the Hittite?

  5 H3068 ויהוה And the LORD H559 אמר said H413 אל unto H281 אחיהו Ahijah, H2009 הנה Behold, H802 אשׁת the wife H3379 ירבעם of Jeroboam H935 באה cometh H1875 לדרשׁ to ask H1697 דבר a thing H5973 מעמך of H413 אל thee for H1121 בנה her son; H3588 כי for H2470 חלה sick: H1931 הוא he H2090 כזה thus H2088 וכזה and thus H1696 תדבר shalt thou say H413 אליה unto H1961 ויהי her: for it shall be, H935 כבאה when she cometh in, H1931 והיא that she H5234 מתנכרה׃ shall feign herself another woman.

  5 H559 ויאמר said H3092 יהושׁפט And Jehoshaphat H413 אל unto H4428 מלך the king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H1875 דרשׁ Inquire, H4994 נא I pray thee, H3117 כיום today. H854 את   H1697 דבר at the word H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD

  7 H559 ויאמר said, H3092 יהושׁפט And Jehoshaphat H369 האין not H6311 פה here H5030 נביא a prophet H3068 ליהוה of the LORD H5750 עוד besides, H1875 ונדרשׁה that we might inquire H853 מאותו׃  

  8 H559 ויאמר said H4428 מלך And the king H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H413 אל unto H3092 יהושׁפט Jehoshaphat, H5750 עוד yet H376 אישׁ man, H259 אחד one H1875 לדרשׁ whom we may inquire H853 את   H3068 יהוה of the LORD: H853 מאתו   H589 ואני but I H8130 שׂנאתיו hate H3588 כי him; for H3808 לא he doth not H5012 יתנבא prophesy H5921 עלי concerning H2896 טוב good H3588 כי me, but H518 אם me, but H7451 רע evil. H4321 מיכיהו Micaiah H1121 בן the son H3229 ימלה of Imlah, H559 ויאמר said, H3092 יהושׁפט And Jehoshaphat H408 אל Let not H559 יאמר say H4428 המלך the king H3651 כן׃ so.

  2 H5307 ויפל fell down H274 אחזיה And Ahaziah H1157 בעד through H7639 השׂבכה a lattice H5944 בעליתו in his upper chamber H834 אשׁר that H8111 בשׁמרון in Samaria, H2470 ויחל and was sick: H7971 וישׁלח and he sent H4397 מלאכים messengers, H559 ויאמר and said H413 אלהם unto H1980 לכו them, Go, H1875 דרשׁו inquire H1176 בבעל זבוב of Baal-zebub H430 אלהי the god H6138 עקרון of Ekron H518 אם whether H2421 אחיה I shall recover H2483 מחלי   H2088 זה׃  

  3 H4397 ומלאך But the angel H3068 יהוה of the LORD H1696 דבר said H413 אל to H452 אליה Elijah H8664 התשׁבי the Tishbite, H6965 קום Arise, H5927 עלה go up H7125 לקראת to meet H4397 מלאכי the messengers H4428 מלך of the king H8111 שׁמרון of Samaria, H1696 ודבר and say H413 אלהם unto H1097 המבלי them, not because H369 אין not H430 אלהים a God H3478 בישׂראל in Israel, H859 אתם ye H1980 הלכים go H1875 לדרשׁ to inquire H1176 בבעל זבוב of Baal-zebub H430 אלהי the god H6138 עקרון׃ of Ekron?

  6 H559 ויאמרו And they said H413 אליו unto H376 אישׁ a man H5927 עלה him, There came H7125 לקראתנו to meet H559 ויאמר us, and said H413 אלינו unto H1980 לכו us, Go, H7725 שׁובו turn again H413 אל unto H4428 המלך the king H834 אשׁר that H7971 שׁלח sent H853 אתכם   H1696 ודברתם you, and say H413 אליו unto H3541 כה him, Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H1097 המבלי not because H369 אין not H430 אלהים a God H3478 בישׂראל in Israel, H859 אתה thou H7971 שׁלח sendest H1875 לדרשׁ to inquire H1176 בבעל זבוב of Baal-zebub H430 אלהי the god H6138 עקרון of Ekron? H3651 לכן therefore H4296 המטה that bed H834 אשׁר on which H5927 עלית up H8033 שׁם on which H3808 לא thou shalt not H3381 תרד come down H4480 ממנה not because H3588 כי but H4191 מות shalt surely die. H4191 תמות׃ shalt surely die.

  16 H1696 וידבר And he said H413 אליו unto H3541 כה him, Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD, H3282 יען   H834 אשׁר on which H7971 שׁלחת thou hast sent H4397 מלאכים messengers H1875 לדרשׁ to inquire H1176 בבעל זבוב of Baal-zebub H430 אלהי the god H6138 עקרון of Ekron, H1097 המבלי not because H369 אין no H430 אלהים God H3478 בישׂראל in Israel H1875 לדרשׁ to inquire H1697 בדברו of his word? H3651 לכן therefore H4296 המטה that bed H834 אשׁר   H5927 עלית thou art gone up, H8033 שׁם on which H3808 לא thou shalt not H3381 תרד come down H4480 ממנה not because H3588 כי but H4191 מות shalt surely die. H4191 תמות׃ shalt surely die.
