¹³ However when that, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. For he will not speak from himself, but as many things as he may hear, he will speak. And he will report to you the things that are coming. ¹⁴ He will glorify me because he will receive from me, and will report to you.

²⁰ Knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture comes to pass of a personal interpretation. ²¹ For no prophecy was ever brought by a will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being led by the Holy Spirit.

¹⁷ Sanctify them in thy truth. Thy word is truth.

¹⁰⁵ Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and light to my path.

¹⁶ Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for instruction, for reproof, for correction, for discipline in righteousness, ¹⁷ so that the man of God may be qualified, having been completed for every good work.

¹¹ so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth. It shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please. And it shall prosper in the thing to which I sent it.

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

¹² For the word of God is living, and potent, and sharper, above every two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division both of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and discernible of the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
