Daniel 9:1-27

1 H259 In the first H8141 year H1867 of Darius H1121 the son H325 of Ahasuerus, H2233 of the seed H4074 of the Medes, H4427 who was made king H4438 over the realm H3778 of the Chaldeans,

2 H259 in the first H8141 year H4427 of his reign H1840 I, Daniel, H995 understood H5612 by the books H4557 the number H8141 of the years H1697 whereof the word H3068 of Jehovah H3414 came to Jeremiah H5030 the prophet, H4390 for the accomplishing H2723 of the desolations H3389 of Jerusalem, H7657 even seventy H8141 years.

3 H5414 And I set H6440 my face H136 unto the Lord H430 God, H1245 to seek H8605 by prayer H8469 and supplications, H6685 with fasting H8242 and sackcloth H665 and ashes.

4 H6419 And I prayed H3068 unto Jehovah H430 my God, H3034 and made confession, H559 and said, H577 Oh, H136 Lord, H1419 the great H3372 and dreadful H410 God, H8104 who keepeth H1285 covenant H2617 and lovingkindness H157 with them that love H8104 him and keep H4687 his commandments,

5 H2398 we have sinned, H5753 and have dealt perversely, H7561 and have done wickedly, H4775 and have rebelled, H5493 even turning aside H4687 from thy precepts H4941 and from thine ordinances;

6 H8085 neither have we hearkened H5650 unto thy servants H5030 the prophets, H1696 that spake H8034 in thy name H4428 to our kings, H8269 our princes, H1 and our fathers, H5971 and to all the people H776 of the land.

7 H136 O Lord, H6666 righteousness H1322 belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion H6440 of face, H3117 as at this day; H376 to the men H3063 of Judah, H3427 and to the inhabitants H3389 of Jerusalem, H3478 and unto all Israel, H7138 that are near, H7350 and that are far off, H776 through all the countries H5080 whither thou hast driven H4604 them, because of their trespass H4603 that they have trespassed against thee.

8 H136 O Lord, H1322 to us belongeth confusion H6440 of face, H4428 to our kings, H8269 to our princes, H1 and to our fathers, H2398 because we have sinned against thee.

9 H136 To the Lord H430 our God H7356 belong mercies H5547 and forgiveness; H4775 for we have rebelled against him;

10 H8085 neither have we obeyed H6963 the voice H3068 of Jehovah H430 our God, H3212 to walk H8451 in his laws, H5414 which he set H6440 before H3027 us by H5650 his servants H5030 the prophets.

11 H3478 Yea, all Israel H5674 have transgressed H8451 thy law, H5493 even turning aside, H8085 that they should not obey H6963 thy voice: H423 therefore hath the curse H5413 been poured H7621 out upon us, and the oath H3789 that is written H8451 in the law H4872 of Moses H5650 the servant H430 of God; H2398 for we have sinned against him.

12 H6965 And he hath confirmed H1697 his words, H1696 which he spake H8199 against us, and against our judges H8199 that judged H935 us, by bringing H1419 upon us a great H7451 evil; H8064 for under the whole heaven H6213 hath not been done H6213 as hath been done H3389 upon Jerusalem.

13 H3789 As it is written H8451 in the law H4872 of Moses, H7451 all this evil H935 is come H2470 upon us: yet have we not entreated H6440 the favor H3068 of Jehovah H430 our God, H7725 that we should turn H5771 from our iniquities, H7919 and have discernment H571 in thy truth.

14 H3068 Therefore hath Jehovah H8245 watched H7451 over the evil, H935 and brought H3068 it upon us; for Jehovah H430 our God H6662 is righteous H4639 in all his works H6213 which he doeth, H8085 and we have not obeyed H6963 his voice.

15 H136 And now, O Lord H430 our God, H3318 that hast brought H5971 thy people H3318 forth H776 out of the land H4714 of Egypt H2389 with a mighty H3027 hand, H6213 and hast gotten H8034 thee renown, H3117 as at this day; H2398 we have sinned, H7561 we have done wickedly.

16 H136 O Lord, H6666 according to all thy righteousness, H639 let thine anger H2534 and thy wrath, H7725 I pray thee, be turned away H5892 from thy city H3389 Jerusalem, H6944 thy holy H2022 mountain; H2399 because for our sins, H5771 and for the iniquities H1 of our fathers, H3389 Jerusalem H5971 and thy people H2781 are become a reproach H5439 to all that are round about us.

17 H430 Now therefore, O our God, H8085 hearken H8605 unto the prayer H5650 of thy servant, H8469 and to his supplications, H6440 and cause thy face H215 to shine H4720 upon thy sanctuary H8076 that is desolate, H136 for the Lord's sake.

18 H430 O my God, H5186 incline H241 thine ear, H8085 and hear; H6491 open H5869 thine eyes, H7200 and behold H8074 our desolations, H5892 and the city H7121 which is called H8034 by thy name: H5307 for we do not present H8469 our supplications H6440 before H6666 thee for our righteousness, H7227 but for thy great H7356 mercies' sake.

19 H136 O Lord, H8085 hear; H136 O Lord, H5545 forgive; H136 O Lord, H7181 hearken H6213 and do; H309 defer H408 not, H430 for thine own sake, O my God, H5892 because thy city H5971 and thy people H7121 are called H8034 by thy name.

20 H1696 And while I was speaking, H6419 and praying, H3034 and confessing H2403 my sin H2403 and the sin H5971 of my people H3478 Israel, H5307 and presenting H8467 my supplication H6440 before H3068 Jehovah H430 my God H6944 for the holy H2022 mountain H430 of my God;

21 H1696 yea, while I was speaking H8605 in prayer, H376 the man H1403 Gabriel, H7200 whom I had seen H2377 in the vision H8462 at the beginning, H3286 being caused to fly H3288 swiftly, H5060 touched H6256 me about the time H6153 of the evening H4503 oblation.

22 H995 And he instructed H1696 me, and talked H559 with me, and said, H1840 O Daniel, H3318 I am now come forth H7919 to give thee wisdom H998 and understanding.

23 H8462 At the beginning H8469 of thy supplications H1697 the commandment H3318 went forth, H935 and I am come H5046 to tell H2532 thee; for thou art greatly beloved: H995 therefore consider H1697 the matter, H995 and understand H4758 the vision.

24 H7657 Seventy H7620 weeks H2852 are decreed H5971 upon thy people H6944 and upon thy holy H5892 city, H3607 to finish H6588 transgression, H8552 and to make an end H2403 of sins, H3722 and to make reconciliation H5771 for iniquity, H935 and to bring in H5769 everlasting H6664 righteousness, H2856 and to seal up H2377 vision H5030 and prophecy, H4886 and to anoint H6944 the most H6944 holy.

25 H3045 Know H7919 therefore and discern, H4161 that from the going forth H1697 of the commandment H7725 to restore H1129 and to build H3389 Jerusalem H4899 unto the anointed H5057 one, the prince, H7651 shall be seven H7620 weeks, H8346 and threescore H8147 and two H7620 weeks: H1129 it shall be built H7725 again, H7339 with street H2742 and moat, H6695 even in troublous H6256 times.

26 H310 And after H8346 the threescore H8147 and two H7620 weeks H4899 shall the anointed H3772 one be cut off, H5971 and shall have nothing: and the people H5057 of the prince H935 that shall come H7843 shall destroy H5892 the city H6944 and the sanctuary; H7093 and the end H7858 thereof shall be with a flood, H7093 and even unto the end H4421 shall be war; H8074 desolations H2782 are determined.

27 H1396 And he shall make a firm H1285 covenant H7227 with many H259 for one H7620 week: H2677 and in the midst H7620 of the week H2077 he shall cause the sacrifice H4503 and the oblation H7673 to cease; H3671 and upon the wing H8251 of abominations H8074 shall come one that maketh desolate; H3617 and even unto the full end, H2782 and that determined, H5413 shall wrath be poured H8074 out upon the desolate.

Daniel 8:1-27

1 H7969 In the third H8141 year H4438 of the reign H4428 of king H1112 Belshazzar H2377 a vision H7200 appeared H1840 unto me, even unto me, Daniel, H310 after H7200 that which appeared H8462 unto me at the first.

2 H7200 And I saw H2377 in the vision; H7200 now it was so, that when I saw, H7800 I was in Shushan H1002 the palace, H4082 which is in the province H5867 of Elam; H7200 and I saw H2377 in the vision, H180 and I was by the river H195 Ulai.

3 H5375 Then I lifted up H5869 mine eyes, H7200 and saw, H5975 and, behold, there stood H6440 before H180 the river H259 a H352 ram H7161 which had two horns: H7161 and the two horns H1364 were high; H259 but one H1364 was higher H8145 than the other, H1364 and the higher H5927 came up H314 last.

4 H7200 I saw H352 the ram H5055 pushing H3220 westward, H6828 and northward, H5045 and southward; H2416 and no beasts H5975 could stand H6440 before H5337 him, neither was there any that could deliver H3027 out of his hand; H6213 but he did H7522 according to his will, H1431 and magnified himself.

5 H995 And as I was considering, H5795 behold, a he - H6842 goat H935 came H4628 from the west H6440 over the face H776 of the whole earth, H5060 and touched H776 not the ground: H6842 and the goat H2380 had a notable H7161 horn H5869 between his eyes.

6 H935 And he came H352 to the ram H1167 that had H7161 the two horns, H7200 which I saw H5975 standing H6440 before H180 the river, H7323 and ran H2534 upon him in the fury H3581 of his power.

7 H7200 And I saw H5060 him come H681 close unto H352 the ram, H4843 and he was moved with anger H5221 against him, and smote H352 the ram, H7665 and brake H8147 his two H7161 horns; H3581 and there was no power H352 in the ram H5975 to stand H6440 before H7993 him; but he cast him down H776 to the ground, H7429 and trampled H5337 upon him; and there was none that could deliver H352 the ram H3027 out of his hand.

8 H6842 And the he - H5795 goat H1431 magnified H3966 himself exceedingly: H6842 and when he H6105 was strong, H1419 the great H7161 horn H7665 was broken; H5927 and instead of it there came up H702 four H702 notable horns toward the four H7307 winds H8064 of heaven.

9 H259 And out of one H3318 of them came forth H4704 a little H7161 horn, H3499 which waxed exceeding H1431 great, H5045 toward the south, H4217 and toward the east, H6643 and toward the glorious land.

10 H1431 And it waxed great, H6635 even to the host H8064 of heaven; H6635 and some of the host H3556 and of the stars H5307 it cast down H776 to the ground, H7429 and trampled upon them.

11 H1431 Yea, it magnified H8269 itself, even to the prince H6635 of the host; H7311 and it took away H8548 from him the continual H4349 burnt-offering, and the place H4720 of his sanctuary H7993 was cast down.

12 H6635 And the host H5414 was given H8548 over to it together with the continual H6588 burnt-offering through transgression; H7993 and it cast down H571 truth H776 to the ground, H6213 and it did its pleasure H6743 and prospered.

13 H8085 Then I heard H259 a H6918 holy one H1696 speaking; H259 and another H259 holy one H559 said H6422 unto that certain H1696 one who spake, H2377 How long shall be the vision H8548 concerning the continual H6588 burnt-offering, and the transgression H8074 that maketh desolate, H5414 to give H6944 both the sanctuary H6635 and the host H4823 to be trodden under foot?

14 H559 And he said H505 unto me, Unto two thousand H7969 and three H3967 hundred H6153 evenings H6944 and mornings; then shall the sanctuary H6663 be cleansed.

15 H1840 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, H7200 had seen H2377 the vision, H1245 that I sought H998 to understand H5975 it; and, behold, there stood H4758 before me as the appearance H1397 of a man.

16 H8085 And I heard H120 a man's H6963 voice H195 between the banks of the Ulai, H7121 which called, H559 and said, H1403 Gabriel, H1975 make this H995 man to understand H4758 the vision.

17 H935 So he came H681 near H5977 where I stood; H935 and when he came, H1204 I was affrighted, H5307 and fell H6440 upon my face: H559 but he said H995 unto me, Understand, H1121 O son H120 of man; H2377 for the vision H6256 belongeth to the time H7093 of the end.

18 H1696 Now as he was speaking H7290 with me, I fell into a deep sleep H6440 with my face H776 toward the ground; H5060 but he touched H5975 me, and set H5977 me upright.

19 H559 And he said, H3045 Behold, I will make thee know H319 what shall be in the latter time H2195 of the indignation; H4150 for it belongeth to the appointed H7093 time of the end.

20 H352 The ram H7200 which thou sawest, H1167 that had H7161 the two horns, H4428 they are the kings H4074 of Media H6539 and Persia.

21 H8163 And the rough H6842 he - goat H4428 is the king H3120 of Greece: H1419 and the great H7161 horn H5869 that is between his eyes H7223 is the first H4428 king.

22 H7665 And as for that which was broken, H702 in the place whereof four H5975 stood up, H702 four H4438 kingdoms H5975 shall stand up H1471 out of the nation, H3581 but not with his power.

23 H319 And in the latter time H4438 of their kingdom, H6586 when the transgressors H8552 are come to the full, H4428 a king H5794 of fierce H6440 countenance, H995 and understanding H2420 dark sentences, H5975 shall stand up.

24 H3581 And his power H6105 shall be mighty, H3581 but not by his own power; H7843 and he shall destroy H6381 wonderfully, H6743 and shall prosper H6213 and do his pleasure; H7843 and he shall destroy H6099 the mighty H6918 ones and the holy H5971 people.

25 H7922 And through his policy H4820 he shall cause craft H6743 to prosper H3027 in his hand; H1431 and he shall magnify H3824 himself in his heart, H7962 and in their security H7843 shall he destroy H7227 many: H5975 he shall also stand up H8269 against the prince H8269 of princes; H7665 but he shall be broken H657 without H3027 hand.

26 H4758 And the vision H6153 of the evenings H1242 and mornings H559 which hath been told H571 is true: H5640 but shut thou up H2377 the vision; H7227 for it belongeth to many H3117 days to come.

27 H1840 And I, Daniel, H1961 fainted, H2470 and was sick H3117 certain days; H6965 then I rose up, H6213 and did H4428 the king's H4399 business: H8074 and I wondered H4758 at the vision, H995 but none understood it.

1 Corinthians 12:1-31

28 G2532 And G2316 God G5087 hath set G3739 some G3303 G1722 in G1577 the church, G4412 first G652 apostles, G1208 secondly G4396 prophets, G5154 thirdly G1320 teachers, G1899 then G1411 miracles, G1534 then G5486 gifts G2386 of healings, G484 helps, G2941 governments, G1085 divers kinds G1100 of tongues.

29 G3956 Are all G3361 apostles? G3956 are all G3361 prophets? G3956 are all G3361 teachers? G3956 are all G1411 workers of miracles?

30 G2192 have G3361 G3956 all G5486 gifts G2386 of healings? G3361 do G3956 all G2980 speak G1100 with tongues? G3361 do G3956 all G1329 interpret?

31 G1161 But G2206 desire earnestly G2909 the greater G5486 gifts. G2532 And G2089 moreover G2596 a most G5236 excellent G3598 way G1166 show I G5213 unto you.

Daniel 2:43

43 H1768 And whereas H2370 thou sawest H6523 the iron H6151 mixed H2917 with miry H2635 clay, H1934 they shall mingle themselves H2234 with the seed H606 of men; H1934 but they shall H3809 not H1693 cleave H1836 one H5974 to H1836 another, H1888 even H6523 as iron H3809 doth not H6151 mingle H2635 with clay.

Daniel 12:1-13

1 H6256 And at that time H4317 shall Michael H5975 stand up, H1419 the great H8269 prince H5975 who standeth H1121 for the children H5971 of thy people; H1961 and there shall be H6256 a time H6869 of trouble, H1471 such as never was since there was a nation H6256 even to that same time: H6256 and at that time H5971 thy people H4422 shall be delivered, H4672 every one that shall be found H3789 written H5612 in the book.

2 H7227 And many H3463 of them that sleep H6083 in the dust H127 of the earth H6974 shall awake, H5769 some to everlasting H2416 life, H2781 and some to shame H5769 and everlasting H1860 contempt.

3 H7919 And they that are wise H2094 shall shine H2096 as the brightness H7549 of the firmament; H7227 and they that turn many H6663 to righteousness H3556 as the stars H5769 for ever H5703 and ever.

4 H1840 But thou, O Daniel, H5640 shut up H1697 the words, H2856 and seal H5612 the book, H6256 even to the time H7093 of the end: H7227 many H7751 shall run to and fro, H1847 and knowledge H7235 shall be increased.
