1 "Judge not, lest you be judged.
2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with what measure you measure, it will be measured back to you.
3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not notice the plank in your own eye?
4 Or how will you say to your brother, 'Permit me to remove the speck from your eye'; and look, there is a plank in your own eye?
5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.
6 Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.
7 "Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.
8 For everyone that asks receives, and he that seeks finds, and to him that knocks, it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son should ask for bread, will give to him a stone?
10 And if he should ask for a fish, he will give to him a serpent?
11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, by how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, thus also you do to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
13 "Enter in through the narrow gate; because wide is the gate, and broad is the way which leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in through it.
14 How narrow the gate, and confined the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it!
15 "But beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grape clusters from thorns, or figs from thistles?
17 Thus every good tree produces good fruit, but a rotten tree produces evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot produce evil fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce good fruit.
19 Every tree not producing good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
20 Consequently, by their fruits you shall know them.
21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name we cast out demons, and in Your name we did many mighty works?'
23 "And then I will confess to them, 'I never knew you! Depart from Me, you who work iniquity!'
24 "Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them, I will compare him to a wise man who built his house upon the rock:
25 and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and fell against that house; and it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock.
26 And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them, will be compared to a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
27 and the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And its fall was great."
28 And so it was, when Jesus finished these words, the crowds were astonished at His teaching,
29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not like the scribes.

Matthew 7:1-29
Matthew 15:1-39
1 Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem approached Jesus, saying,
2 "Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands whenever they eat bread."
3 He answered and said to them, "Why do you also transgress the commandment of God on account of your tradition?
4 For God commanded, saying, 'Honor your father and your mother'; and, 'He who curses father or mother, with death let him die.'
5 But you say, 'Whoever says to his father or mother, "It is a gift to God, whatever profit you might have received from me"--
6 then by no means should he honor his father or mother.' Thus you have nullified the commandment of God on account of your tradition.
7 Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying,
8 'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and they honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far away from Me.
9 And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.' "
10 And having summoned the crowd, He said to them, "Hear and understand:
11 Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man."
12 Then His disciples approached and said to Him, " You know that when the Pharisees heard this message they were offended?"
13 But He answered and said, "Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.
14 Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. And if the blind guides the blind, both will fall into a ditch."
15 Then Peter answered and said to Him, "Explain to us this parable."
16 So Jesus said, "Are you also still without understanding?
17 Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach, and is cast out into a latrine?
18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.
19 For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.
20 These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man."
21 And going out from there, Jesus withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon.
22 And behold, a Canaanite woman coming forth from that region cried out to Him, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed."
23 But He answered her not a word. And His disciples approached and urged Him, saying, "Send her away, for she cries out after us."
24 But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
25 Then she came and worshipped Him, saying, "Lord, help me!"
26 But He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and to throw it to the little dogs."
27 But she said, "Yes, Lord, for even the little dogs eat from the crumbs falling from their masters' table."
28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
29 And moving on from there, Jesus came alongside the Sea of Galilee, and going up into a mountain, He sat down there.
30 And great crowds came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they put them down at Jesus' feet, and He healed them.
31 So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.
32 Now Jesus, having summoned His disciples, He said, "I have compassion on the crowd, because they have been remaining with Me three days, and they do not have anything to eat. And I do not desire to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way."
33 Then His disciples said to Him, "Where could we get so many loaves of bread in this deserted place, so as to satisfy so great a crowd?"
34 Jesus said to them, "How many loaves do you have?" And they said, "Seven, and a few small fish."
35 So He commanded the crowds to recline on the ground.
36 And He took the seven loaves and the fish, having given thanks, He broke them, and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the crowd.
37 So they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up what they had left of the fragments, seven hampers full.
38 Now those who ate were four thousand men, apart from women and children.
39 And having dismissed the crowds, He went up into the boat, and came to the region of Magdala.
1 Corinthians 10:23
23 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.
Luke 6:37
37 "And judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you shall be forgiven.
John 4:23-24
Romans 14:16
16 Therefore do not let your good be slandered.
1 Timothy 2:1-15
1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men,
2 on behalf of kings and all those who are in authority, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.
3 For this is good and acceptable before God our Savior,
4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, the testimony in due time;
7 for which I was appointed a herald and apostle--I speak the truth in Christ, I do not lie--a teacher of Gentiles in faith and truth.
8 I desire therefore that men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
9 Likewise also that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and discretion, not with braids or gold or pearls or expensive clothing,
10 but which is fitting for women professing godliness, by means of good works.
11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submission.
12 And I do not permit a woman to teach, nor to have authority over a man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam first was formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, has come to be in transgression.
15 Nevertheless she shall be saved through childbirth, if they remain in faith and love, and sanctification, with self-control.
Proverbs 1:1-33
1 The Proverbs of Solomon son of David, who reigned in Israel:
2 to know wisdom and instruction, and to perceive words of understanding;
3 to receive also hard sayings, and to understand true justice, and how to direct judgment;
4 that he might give prudence to the simple, and to the young man discernment and understanding.
5 For by the hearing of these a wise man will be wiser, and a man of understanding will gain direction;
6 and will understand a parable, and an enigma; the saying of the wise also, and riddles.
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; and there is good understanding to all that practice it: and godliness toward God is the beginning of discernment; but the ungodly will nullify wisdom and instruction.
8 Hear, my son, the instruction of your father, and reject not the rules of your mother.
9 For you shall receive a crown of grace for your head, and a chain of gold around your neck.
10 My son, let not ungodly men lead you astray, neither shall you consent to them.
11 If they should exhort you, saying, Come with us, partake in blood, and let us unjustly hide the just man in the earth:
12 and let us swallow him alive, as Hades would, and remove the memorial of him from the earth:
13 let us seize on his valuable property, and let us fill our houses with spoils:
14 but cast in your lot with us, and let us all provide a common purse, and let us have one pouch:
15 go not in the way with them, let your foot turn aside from their paths:

17 for nets are not spread for the birds without cause.
18 For they that are concerned in murder store up evils for themselves; and the overthrow of transgressors is evil.
19 These are the ways of all that perform lawless deeds; for by ungodliness they destroy their own life.
20 Wisdom sings aloud in passages, and in the broad places speaks boldly.
21 And she makes proclamation on the top of the walls, and sits by the gates of princes; and at the gates of the city boldly says,
22 So long as the simple cleave to justice, they shall not be ashamed: but the foolish being lovers of haughtiness, having become ungodly have hated knowledge, and have become subject to reproofs.
23 Behold, I will bring forth to you the utterance of my breath, and I will instruct you in my speech.
24 Since I called, and you did not hear, and I spoke at length, and you gave no heed;
25 but you disdained my counsels, and disregarded my reproofs;
26 therefore I also will laugh at your destruction; and I will rejoice against you when ruin comes upon you:
27 yea when dismay suddenly comes upon you, and your overthrow shall arrive like a tempest; and when tribulation and distress shall come upon you, or when ruin shall come upon you.
28 For it shall be that when you call upon me, I will not listen to you: wicked men shall seek me, but shall not find me.
29 For they hated wisdom, and did not choose the word of the Lord:
30 neither would they attend to my counsels, but derided my reproofs.
31 Therefore shall they eat the fruits of their own way, and shall be filled with their own ungodliness.
32 For because they wronged the simple, they shall be slain; and an inquisition shall ruin the ungodly.
33 But he that listens to me shall dwell in confidence, and shall rest securely from all evil.
Leviticus 19:32
32 You shall rise up before the hoary head, and honor the face of the old man, and shall fear your God: I am the Lord your God.
Colossians 3:12
12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, patience;
Philippians 4:5
5 Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
1 Corinthians 14:40
40 Let all things be done properly and according to order.
