¹⁰ He delineated a circle on the face of the waters, Unto the boundary of light with darkness.

⁹ You are Ruler over the swelling sea; When its billows are lifted, You becalm them."

¹ Praise Yah. Praise Yahweh from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights. ² Praise Him, all His messengers; Praise Him, all His hosts." ³ Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all stars of light." ⁴ Praise Him, heavens of the heavens, And the waters that are above the heavens." ⁵ May they praise the Name of Yahweh, For He Himself determined, and they were created." ⁶ He makes them stand for the future, for the eon; He has set down a statute, and it shall not pass away." ⁷ Praise Yahweh from the earth, Sea monsters and every abyss, ⁸ Fire and hail, snow and fume, Tempestuous wind, performing His word, ⁹ Mountains and all hills, Fruit trees and all cedars, ¹⁰ Wild animal and every domestic beast, Reptile and winged bird, ¹¹ Kings of the earth and all national groups, Chiefs and all judges of the earth, ¹² Choice young men and virgins too, Old men along with youths." ¹³ May they praise the Name of Yahweh, For an Impregnable Retreat is His Name, His alone; His splendor is over the earth and heavens;" ¹⁴ He has raised up a horn for His people, Praise for all His benign ones, For the sons of Israel, a people near Him. Praise Yah."

²² And immediately he compels His disciples to step into the ship and to be preceding Him to the other side, till He should be dismissing the throngs." ²³ And, dismissing the throngs, He ascended into the mountain privately to pray. Now, evening coming on, He was there alone." ²⁴ Now the ship was already many stadia away from the land, in the midst of the sea, being tormented by the billows, for the wind was contrary." ²⁵ Now in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea." ²⁶ Now the disciples, perceiving Him walking on the sea, were disturbed, saying that "It is a phantom!And from fear they cry out."

²⁶ And saying is the Elohim, "Make will We humanity in Our image, and according to Our likeness, and sway shall they over the fish of the sea, and over the flyer of the heavens, and over the beast, and over all land life, and over every moving animal moving on the land.

⁷ Howbeit, ask, I pray, one of the beasts, and it shall direct you, And the flyer of the heavens, and it shall tell you, ⁸ Or importune to the earth, and it shall direct you, And the fish of the sea shall rehearse it to you. ⁹ Who among all these does not know That the hand of Eloah, it has done this? ¹⁰ In Whose hand is every living soul And the spirit in all flesh of man.

⁸ The birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea, Crossing the paths of the seas.

³⁵ Thus said Yahweh, Who is giving the sun for a light by day, The statutes of moon and stars for a light by night, Quieting the sea when its billows roar, Yahweh of Hosts [is] His name:"

⁶ To the One situating the earth above the waters, For His benignity is eonian;"
