³¹ Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed him: If you continue in my word, you shall be my disciples indeed. ³² And you shall know the truth: and the truth shall make you free.

¹⁸ For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and injustice of those men that detain the truth of God in injustice: ¹⁹ Because that which is known of God is manifest in them. For God hath manifested it unto them. ²⁰ For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made. His eternal power also and divinity: so that they are inexcusable.

¹⁷ Faith then cometh by hearing; and hearing by the word of Christ.

²¹ But prove all things: hold fast that which is good. ²² From all appearance of evil refrain yourselves.

² And be not conformed to this world: but be reformed in the newness of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and the acceptable and the perfect will of God.

³⁶ He that believeth in the Son hath life everlasting: but he that believeth not the Son shall not see life: but the wrath of God abideth on him.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son: that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting. ¹⁷ For God sent not his Son into the world, to judge the world: but that the world may be saved by him. ¹⁸ He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
