1 ¶ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 And the earth was without order, and empty; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 ¶ And God said, Let there be light, and there was light.
4 And God saw that the light was good, and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
6 ¶ And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7 And God made a firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so.
8 And God called the firmament Heavens. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
9 ¶ And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear; and it was so.
10 And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters he called Seas; and God saw that it was good.
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth green grass, herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after its nature, whose seed is in itself upon the earth; and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth green grass and herb yielding seed after its kind and the tree yielding fruit whose seed was in itself, according to its nature; and God saw that it was good.
13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.
14 ¶ And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and for appointed times and for days and years;
15 and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light upon the earth; and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night; he made the stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light upon the earth
18 and to rule over the day and over the night and to divide the light from the darkness; and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
20 ¶ And God said, Let the waters bring forth great quantities of creatures with living souls and fowl that may fly above the earth upon the face of the firmament of the heavens.
21 And God created the great dragons and every living soul that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly after their nature, and every winged fowl after its nature; and God saw that it was good.
22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24 ¶ And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living soul after its nature, beasts and serpents and animals of the earth after its nature; and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after its kind and cattle after their kind and every thing that moves upon the earth after its kind; and God saw that it was good.
26 ¶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the beasts and over all the earth and over every serpent that moves upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over every beast that moves upon the earth.
29 ¶ And God said, Behold, I have given you every grass bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food.
30 And to every beast of the earth and to every fowl of the air and to every thing that moves upon the earth, in which there is a living soul, I have given all green grass for food; and it was so.
31 ¶ And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Genesis 1:1-31
Psalms 14:2
2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand and seek God.
Romans 1:1-32
1 ¶ Paul, slave of Jesus, the Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God
2 (which he had promised before by his prophets in the holy scriptures)
3 of his Son (who was born unto him of the seed of David according to the flesh,
4 who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of sanctification, by the resurrection from the dead), of Jesus, the Christ, our Lord.
5 By whom we have received the grace and the apostleship, to cause the faith to be obeyed among all the Gentiles in his name,
6 among whom ye are also the called of Jesus Christ;
7 to all that are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints; ye have grace and peace of God our Father and of the Lord Jesus, the Christ.
8 ¶ First, I thank my God through Jesus, the Christ, regarding you all, that your faith is preached in all the world.
9 For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I always remember you in my prayers,
10 making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
11 For I long to see you that I may impart with you some spiritual gift to confirm you,
12 that is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that many times I purposed to come unto you (but up until now I have been unable) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.
14 I am debtor both to the Greeks and to the Barbarians; both to the wise and to the unwise.
15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to announce the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
16 ¶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of the Christ; for it is the power of God to give saving health to every one that believes: to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
17 For in him is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and injustice of men, who hold back the truth with injustice;
19 ¶ because that which is known of God is manifest to them; for God has showed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him, his eternal power and divinity, are clearly understood by the creation of the world and by the things that are made so that there is no excuse;
21 because having known God, they did not glorify him as God, neither were thankful, but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools
23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man and of birds and of fourfooted beasts and of serpents.
24 Therefore God also gave them over to the lusts of their own hearts for uncleanness, to contaminate their own bodies between themselves,
25 who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for all ages. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto shameful affections, for even their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature;
27 and likewise also the males, leaving the natural use of the females, burned in their lust one toward another, males with males committing nefarious works and receiving in themselves the recompense that proceeded from their error.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a perverse understanding, to do those things which are not convenient,
29 being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, without mercy.
32 Who having understood the righteousness of God, they did not understand that those who do such things are worthy of death, not only those that do the same, but even those who encourage those that do them.

Psalms 115:16
16 The heavens are the heavens of the LORD, but the earth he has given to the sons of Adam.
Isaiah 45:18
18 For thus has the LORD said that creates the heavens; God himself that forms the earth, he who made it and established it. He did not create it in vain; he created it to be inhabited; I am the LORD; and there is no one else.
Acts 10:1-48
1 ¶ There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the company called the Italian,
2 a devout man and one that feared God with all his house, who gave many alms to the people and prayed to God always.
3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him and saying unto him, Cornelius.
4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms {lit. thine acts of mercy} are come up for a memorial before God.
5 And now send men to Joppa and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter;
6 he lodges with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side; he shall tell thee what it behooves thee to do.
7 And when the angel who spoke unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants and a devout soldier of those that waited on him continually;
8 and when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa.
9 ¶ On the morrow, as they went on their journey and drew near unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour;
10 and he became very hungry and would have eaten; but while they made ready, he fell into a rapture of understanding
11 and saw the heaven opened and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners and let down to the earth,
12 in which were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth and wild beasts and reptiles and fowls of the air.
13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter, kill and eat.
14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
15 And the voice spoke unto him again the second time, That which God has cleansed, do not call common.
16 This was done three times, and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
17 Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men who were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon’s house and stood before the gate
18 and called and asked whether Simon, who was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.
19 ¶ While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.
20 Arise therefore and get thee down and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them.
21 Then Peter went down to the men who were sent unto him from Cornelius and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek; what is the cause for which ye are come?
22 And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man and one that fears God and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by a holy angel to send for thee into his house and to hear words of thee.
23 Then he called them in and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.
24 And the next day they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them and had called together his kinsmen and near friends.
25 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshipped him.
26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
27 And as he talked with him, he went in and found many that were come together.
28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an abominable thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company or come unto one of another nation; but God has showed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.
29 Therefore I came unto you without doubting, as soon as I was sent for; I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?
30 And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing
31 and said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
32 Send therefore to Joppa, and call here Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side, who, when he comes, shall speak unto thee.
33 Immediately therefore I sent to thee, and thou hast done well to come. Now therefore we are all here present before God to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.
34 ¶ Then Peter opened his mouth and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons;
35 but in every nation he that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.
36 The word which God sent unto the sons of Israel, preaching the gospel: peace by Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all),
37 that word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached,
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him.
39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of Judea and in Jerusalem, whom they slew hanging him on a tree.
40 This same one God raised up the third day and showed him openly,
41 not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people and to testify that it is he who is ordained of God to be the Judge of living and dead.
43 Unto him all the prophets give witness, that whosoever believes in him shall receive remission of sins through his name.
44 ¶ While Peter yet spoke these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word.
45 And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, that also on the Gentiles the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered,
47 Can anyone forbid water that these should not be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we?
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they begged him to tarry certain days.
1 Peter 3:15
15 but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and be ready always to respond to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and reverence,
Joshua 1:3
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
Romans 1:28-31
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a perverse understanding, to do those things which are not convenient,

Revelation 4:11
11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and virtue; for thou hast created all things, and by thy will they have their being and were created.
