3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom and in intelligence and in science and in all manner of workmanship,
4 to devise cunning works, to work in gold and in silver and in brass,
5 and in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.

Jeremiah 1:4-19
4 ¶ Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the Gentiles.
6 Then I said, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I do not know how to speak: for I am a child.
7 But the LORD said unto me, Do not say, I am a child; for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
8 Do not be afraid of their faces; for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
9 Then the LORD put forth his hand and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
10 See, I have placed thee in this day over Gentiles and over kingdoms, to root out, and to destroy, and to throw out, and to cast down, to build, and to plant.
11 ¶ Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
12 Then the LORD said unto me, Thou hast seen well, for I will hasten my word to perform it.
13 And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and its face is toward the north.
14 Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.
15 For, behold, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and each one shall set his seat at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem and near all its walls round about and near all the cities of Judah.
16 And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me and have burned incense unto other gods and worshipped the works of their own hands.
17 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and thou shalt arise and speak unto them all that I shall command thee; do not fear them lest I confound thee before them.
18 For, behold, I have made thee this day as a defenced city and as an iron pillar and as a wall of brass upon all the earth against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land.
19 And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.
Matthew 6:1-34
1 ¶ Take heed not to do your alms {lit. acts of mercy} before men, to be seen of them; otherwise, ye have no reward of your Father who is in the heavens.
2 Therefore, when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They already have their reward.
3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth
4 that thine alms may be in secret; and thy Father who sees in secret, he shall reward thee openly.
5 ¶ And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They already have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy chamber, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret; and thy Father who sees in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions as the worldly do, for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them, for your Father knows what things ye have need of before ye ask him.
9 ¶ Ye, therefore, are to pray like this: Our Father who art in the heavens, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And set us free from our debts, as we set free our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
14 For if ye set men free from their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also set you free;
15 but if ye do not set men free from their trespasses, neither will your Father set you free from your trespasses.
16 ¶ Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance, for they disfigure their faces that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They already have their reward.
17 But thou, when thou dost fast, anoint thine head, and wash thy face
18 that thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father who is in secret; and thy Father, who sees in secret, shall reward thee openly.
19 ¶ Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal;
20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupt and where thieves do not break through nor steal;
21 for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
22 The lamp of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye is sincere, thy whole body shall be full of light.
23 But if thine eye is evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If, therefore, the light that is in thee is darkness, how great is that darkness!
24 No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and riches.
25 ¶ Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat or what ye shall drink, nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air, for they sow not, neither do they reap nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin;
29 and yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Therefore, if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed?
32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things.) For your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the affliction thereof.
1 Corinthians 16:14
14 Let all your things be done with charity.
Exodus 35:10
10 And everyone that is wise hearted among you shall come and make all that the LORD has commanded:
Matthew 5:14-16
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city set upon a mountain cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on the lampstand, and it gives light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in the heavens.
1 Peter 4:10
10 Let each one according to the gift that he has received, administer it unto the others, as a good steward of the diverse graces of God.
James 1:17
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness neither shadow of turning.
Matthew 25:14-30
14 ¶ For it is like a man travelling into a far country, who called his own slaves and delivered unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each one according to his faculty, and straightway took his journey.
16 And after he was gone, he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same and made another five talents.
17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained another two.
18 But he that had received one went and dug in the earth and hid his lord’s money.
19 And after a long time the lord of those slaves came and reckoned accounts with them.
20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought another five talents, saying, Lord, thou didst deliver unto me five talents; behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful slave; thou hast been faithful over a few things; I will set thee over many things; enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou didst deliver unto me two talents; behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful slave; thou hast been faithful over a few things; I will set thee over many things; enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24 Then he who had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art a hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown and gathering where thou hast not scattered;
25 therefore, I was afraid and went and hid thy talent in the earth; behold, thou hast what is thine.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful slave, thou knewest that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I have not scattered;
27 therefore, it was expedient for thee to have put my money to the bankers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with interest.
28 Take, therefore, the talent from him and give it unto him who has ten talents.
29 For unto every one that has shall be given, and he shall have abundance, but from him that has not shall be taken away even that which he has.
30 And cast ye the unprofitable slave into the outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Romans 12:6
