²³ Therefore is the kingdome of heauen likened vnto a certaine King, which would take an account of his seruants. ²⁴ And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought vnto him, which ought him ten thousand talents. ²⁵ And because he had nothing to pay, his Lord commanded him to be solde, and his wife, and his children, and all that he had, and the dette to be payed. ²⁶ The seruant therefore fell downe, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, refraine thine anger toward me, and I will pay thee all. ²⁷ Then that seruants Lord had compassion, and loosed him, and forgaue him the dette. ²⁸ But when the seruant was departed, hee found one of his felow seruants, which ought him an hundred pence, and he layde hands on him, and thratled him, saying, Pay me that thou owest. ²⁹ Then his fellow seruant fell downe at his feete, and besought him, saying, Refraine thine anger towards me, and I will pay thee all. ³⁰ Yet he would not, but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the dette. ³¹ And when his other felowe seruants sawe what was done, they were very sory, and came, and declared vnto their Lord all that was done. ³² Then his Lord called him vnto him, and sayd to him, O euil seruant, I forgaue thee all that dette, because thou prayedst me. ³³ Oughtest not thou also to haue had pitie on thy fellowe seruant, euen as I had pitie on thee?

²¹ The wicked boroweth and payeth not againe. but the righteous is mercifull, and giueth.

⁹ After this maner therefore pray ye, Our father which art in heauen, halowed be thy name. ¹⁰ Thy Kingdome come. Thy will be done euen in earth, as it is in heauen. ¹¹ Giue vs this day our dayly bread. ¹² And forgiue vs our dettes, as we also forgiue our detters. ¹³ And leade vs not into tentation, but deliuer vs from euill: for thine is the kingdome, and the power, and the glorie for euer. Amen.

¹ Then God spake all these wordes, saying, ² I am the Lord thy God, which haue brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. ³ Thou shalt haue none other Gods before me. ⁴ Thou shalt make thee no grauen image, neither any similitude of things that are in heauen aboue, neither that are in the earth beneath, nor that are in the waters vnder the earth. ⁵ Thou shalt not bowe downe to them, neither serue them: for I am the Lord thy God, a ielous God, visiting the iniquitie of the fathers vpon the children, vpon the third generation and vpon the fourth of them that hate me: ⁶ And shewing mercie vnto thousandes to them that loue me, and keepe my commandemets. ⁷ Thou shalt not take the Name of the Lord thy God in vaine: for the Lord will not hold him guiltles that taketh his Name in vayne. ⁸ Remember the Sabbath day, to keepe it holy. ⁹ Sixe dayes shalt thou labour, and doe all thy worke, ¹⁰ But the seuenth day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any worke, thou, nor thy sonne, nor thy daughter, thy man seruant, nor thy mayde, nor thy beast, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates. ¹¹ For in sixe dayes the Lord made the heauen and the earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seuenth day: therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it. ¹² Honour thy father and thy mother, that thy dayes may be prolonged vpon the land, which the Lord thy God giueth thee. ¹³ Thou shalt not kill. ¹⁴ Thou shalt not commit adulterie. ¹⁵ Thou shalt not steale. ¹⁶ Thou shalt not beare false witnes against thy neighbour. ¹⁷ Thou shalt not couet thy neighbours house, neither shalt thou couet thy neighbours wife, nor his man seruant, nor his mayde, nor his oxe, nor his asse, neyther any thing that is thy neighbours.

¹ Let euery soule be subiect vnto the higher powers: for there is no power but of God: and the powers that be, are ordeined of God. ² Whosoeuer therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist, shall receiue to themselues condemnation. ³ For Magistrates are not to be feared for good workes, but for euill. Wilt thou then bee without feare of the power? doe well: so shalt thou haue praise of the same. ⁴ For he is ye minister of God for thy wealth, but if thou do euill, feare: for he beareth not the sworde for nought: for he is the minister of God to take vengeance on him that doeth euill. ⁵ Wherefore ye must bee subiect, not because of wrath only, but also for conscience sake. ⁶ For, for this cause ye pay also tribute: for they are Gods ministers, applying themselues for the same thing. ⁷ Giue to all men therefore their duetie: tribute, to whome yee owe tribute: custome, to whom custome: feare, to whome feare: honour, to whom ye owe honour. ⁸ Owe nothing to any man, but to loue one another: for he that loueth another, hath fulfilled the Lawe. ⁹ For this, Thou shalt not commit adulterie, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steale, Thou shalt not beare false witnes, Thou shalt not couet: and if there be any other commandement, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, euen in this, Thou shalt loue thy neighbour as thy selfe. ¹⁰ Loue doeth not euill to his neighbour: therefore is loue the fulfilling of the Lawe. ¹¹ And that, considering the season, that it is now time that we should arise from sleepe: for now is our saluation neerer, then when we beleeued it. ¹² The night is past, and the day is at hande, let vs therefore cast away the workes of darkenesse, and let vs put on the armour of light, ¹³ So that wee walke honestly, as in the day: not in gluttonie, and drunkennesse, neither in chambering and wantonnes, nor in strife and enuying. ¹⁴ But put yee on the Lord JESUS CHRIST, and take no thought for the flesh, to fulfill the lustes of it.

²¹ The wicked boroweth and payeth not againe. but the righteous is mercifull, and giueth. ²² For such as be blessed of God, shall inherite the lande, and they that be cursed of him, shalbe cut off.

²⁶ Verely I say vnto thee, thou shalt not come out thence, till thou hast payed the vtmost farthing.
