¹⁰ Haue we not all one father? hath not one God made vs? why doe we transgresse euery one against his brother, and breake the couenant of our fathers?

¹⁰ There are so many kindes of voyces (as it commeth to passe) in the world, and none of them is dumme.

¹⁶ Be of like affection one towardes another: be not hie minded: but make your selues equall to them of the lower sort: be not wise in your selues.

¹² For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, which is one, though they be many, yet are but one body: euen so is Christ.

¹⁵ If the foote would say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body? ¹⁶ And if the eare would say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body, is it therefore not of the body? ¹⁷ If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smellling? ¹⁸ But nowe hath God disposed the members euery one of them in the bodie at his owne pleasure. ¹⁹ For if they were all one member, where were the body?

¹ Him that is weake in the faith, receiue vnto you, but not for controuersies of disputations. ² One beleeueth that he may eate of all things: and another, which is weake, eateth herbes. ³ Let not him that eateth, despise him that eateth not: and let not him which eateth not, condemne him that eateth: for God hath receiued him. ⁴ Who art thou that condemnest another mans seruant? hee standeth or falleth to his owne master: yea, he shalbe established: for God is able to make him stand. ⁵ This man esteemeth one day aboue another day, and another man counteth euery day alike: let euery man be fully perswaded in his minde. ⁶ He that obserueth the day, obserueth it to the Lord: and he that obserueth not the day, obserueth it not to the Lord. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord: for he giueth God thankes: and he that eateth not, eateth not to the Lord, and giueth God thankes. ⁷ For none of vs liueth to himselfe, neither doeth any die to himselfe. ⁸ For whether wee liue, we liue vnto the Lord: or whether we die, we die vnto the Lord: whether we liue therefore, or die, we are the Lords. ⁹ For Christ therefore died and rose againe, and reuiued, that he might be Lord both of the dead and the quicke. ¹⁰ But why doest thou condemne thy brother? or why doest thou despise thy brother? for we shall all appeare before the iudgement seate of Christ. ¹¹ For it is written, I liue, sayth the Lord, and euery knee shall bowe to me, and all tongues shall confesse vnto God. ¹² So then euery one of vs shall giue accounts of himselfe to God. ¹³ Let vs not therefore iudge one another any more: but vse your iudgement rather in this, that no man put an occasion to fall, or a stumbling blocke before his brother. ¹⁴ I know, and am perswaded through the Lord Iesus, that there is nothing vncleane of it selfe: but vnto him that iudgeth any thing to be vncleane, to him it is vncleane. ¹⁵ But if thy brother be grieued for the meate, nowe walkest thou not charitably: destroy not him with thy meate, for whome Christ dyed. ¹⁶ Cause not your commoditie to be euill spoken of. ¹⁷ For the kingdome of God, is not meate nor drinke, but righteousnes, and peace, and ioye in the holy Ghost. ¹⁸ For whosoeuer in these things serueth Christ, is acceptable vnto God, and is approoued of men. ¹⁹ Let vs then follow those things which concerne peace, and wherewith one may edifie another. ²⁰ Destroy not the worke of God for meates sake: all things in deede are pure: but it is euill for the man which eateth with offence. ²¹ It is good neither to eate flesh, nor to drinke wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or made weake. ²² Hast thou faith? haue it with thy selfe before God: blessed is hee that condemneth not himselfe in that thing which he aloweth. ²³ For he that doubteth, is condemned if he eate, because he eateth not of faith: and whatsoeuer is not of faith, is sinne.

¹⁶ For by him were all things created, which are in heauen, and which are in earth, thinges visible and inuisible: whether they be Thrones or Dominions, or Principalities, or Powers, all things were created by him, and for him, ¹⁷ And hee is before all things, and in him all things consist.

¹ My brethren, haue not the faith of our glorious Lord Iesus Christ in respect of persons. ² For if there come into your company a man with a golde ring, and in goodly apparell, and there come in also a poore man in vile raiment, ³ And ye haue a respect to him that weareth the gaie clothing; and say vnto him, Sit thou here in a goodly place, and say vnto the poore, Stand thou there, or sit here vnder my footestoole, ⁴ Are yee not partiall in your selues, and are become iudges of euill thoughts? ⁵ Hearken my beloued brethren, hath not God chosen the poore of this worlde, that they should be rich in faith, and heires of the kingdome which he promised to them that loue him? ⁶ But ye haue despised the poore. Doe not the riche oppresse you by tyrannie, and doe not they drawe you before the iudgement seates? ⁷ Doe nor they blaspheme the worthie Name after which yee be named? ⁸ But if yee fulfill the royall Lawe according to the Scripture, which saith, Thou shalt loue thy neighbour as thy selfe, yee doe well. ⁹ But if yee regarde the persons, yee commit sinne, and are rebuked of the Lawe, as transgressours. ¹⁰ For whosoeuer shall keepe the whole Lawe, and yet faileth in one poynt, hee is guiltie of all. ¹¹ For he that saide, Thou shalt not commit adulterie, saide also, Thou shalt not kill. Nowe though thou doest none adulterie, yet if thou killest, thou art a transgressour of the Lawe. ¹² So speake ye, and so doe, as they that shall be iudged by the Lawe of libertie. ¹³ For there shalbe condemnation merciles to him that sheweth not mercie, and mercie reioyceth against condemnation. ¹⁴ What auaileth it, my brethren, though a man saith he hath faith, when he hath no workes? can that faith saue him? ¹⁵ For if a brother or a sister bee naked and destitute of daily foode, ¹⁶ And one of you say vnto them, Depart in peace: warme your selues, and fil your bellies, notwithstading ye giue them not those things which are needefull to the body, what helpeth it? ¹⁷ Euen so the faith, if it haue no woorkes, is dead in it selfe. ¹⁸ But some man might say, Thou hast the faith, and I haue woorkes: shewe me thy faith out of thy woorkes, and I will shewe thee my faith by my woorkes. ¹⁹ Thou beleeuest that there is one God: thou doest well: the deuils also beleeue it, and tremble. ²⁰ But wilt thou vnderstand, O thou vaine man, that the faith which is without workes, is dead? ²¹ Was not Abraham our father iustified through workes, when he offred Isaac his sonne vpon the altar? ²² Seest thou not that the faith wrought with his workes? and through the workes was the faith made perfect. ²³ And the Scripture was fulfilled which sayeth, Abraham beleeued God, and it was imputed vnto him for righteousnesse: and hee was called the friende of God. ²⁴ Ye see then howe that of workes a man is iustified, and not of faith onely. ²⁵ Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot iustified through workes, when she had receiued ye messengers, and sent them out another way? ²⁶ For as the body without ye spirit is dead, euen so the faith without workes is dead.

⁹ After these thinges I behelde, and loe a great multitude, which no man coulde number, of all nations and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stoode before the throne, and before the Lambe, clothed with long white robes, and palmes in their hands.
