¹⁰ He hath described a boundary upon the face of the waters, unto the confines of light and darkness.

⁴¹ Who provideth for the raven his prey, when his young ones cry unto God, and wander for lack of food?

¹⁰ But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

⁵ Who didst establish the earth upon its foundations, that it should not be moved for ever and ever;

¹³ Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels; let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from the things that shall come upon thee. ¹⁴ Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame; it shall not be a coal to warm at, nor a fire to sit before.

¹ A Psalm of Solomon. Give the king Thy judgments, O God, and Thy righteousness unto the king's son; ² That he may judge Thy people with righteousness, and Thy poor with justice. ³ Let the mountains bear peace to the people, and the hills, through righteousness. ⁴ May he judge the poor of the people, and save the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor. ⁵ They shall fear Thee while the sun endureth, and so long as the moon, throughout all generations. ⁶ May he come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers that water the earth. ⁷ In his days let the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace, till the moon be no more. ⁸ May he have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the River unto the ends of the earth. ⁹ Let them that dwell in the wilderness bow before him; and his enemies lick the dust. ¹⁰ The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render tribute; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. ¹¹ Yea, all kings shall prostrate themselves before him; all nations shall serve him. ¹² For he will deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. ¹³ He will have pity on the poor and needy, and the souls of the needy he will save. ¹⁴ He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence, and precious will their blood be in his sight; ¹⁵ That they may live, and that he may give them of the gold of Sheba, that they may pray for him continually, yea, bless him all the day. ¹⁶ May he be as a rich cornfield in the land upon the top of the mountains; may his fruit rustle like Lebanon; and may they blossom out of the city like grass of the earth. ¹⁷ May his name endure for ever; may his name be continued as long as the sun; may men also bless themselves by him; may all nations call him happy. ¹⁸ Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things; ¹⁹ And blessed be His glorious name for ever; and let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen, and Amen. ²⁰ The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

Praise ye the LORD from the heavens; praise Him in the heights. ² Praise ye Him, all His angels; praise ye Him, all His hosts. ³ Praise ye Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all ye stars of light. ⁴ Praise Him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens. ⁵ Let them praise the name of the LORD; for He commanded, and they were created. ⁶ He hath also established them for ever and ever; He hath made a decree which shall not be transgressed. ⁷ Praise the LORD from the earth, ye sea-monsters, and all deeps; ⁸ Fire and hail, snow and vapour, stormy wind, fulfilling His word; ⁹ Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars; ¹⁰ Beasts and all cattle, creeping things and winged fowl; ¹¹ Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all judges of the earth; ¹² Both young men and maidens, old men and children; ¹³ Let them praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven. ¹⁴ And He hath lifted up a horn for His people, a praise for all His saints, even for the children of Israel, a people near unto Him. Hallelujah.

⁵ The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he ariseth.

¹⁹ and lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the host of heaven, thou be drawn away and worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath allotted unto all the peoples under the whole heaven.
