Bible verses about "morning" | KJ2000

Job 1:5

5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were finished, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

Psalms 91:11

11 For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

Psalms 90:14

14 O satisfy us early with your mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Isaiah 50:4-5

4 The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he awakens morning by morning, he awakens my ear to hear as the learned. 5 The Lord GOD has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned backward.

Hosea 6:4

4 O Ephraim, what shall I do unto you? O Judah, what shall I do unto you? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goes away.

Galatians 5:1

1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Proverbs 3:1-35

1 My son, forget not my law; but let your heart keep my commandments: 2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to you. 3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you: bind them about your neck; write them upon the table of your heart: 4 So shall you find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths. 7 Be not wise in your own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health to your body, and strength to your bones. 9 Honor the LORD with your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your increase: 10 So shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst out with new wine. 11 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction: 12 For whom the LORD loves he corrects; even as a father the son in whom he delights. 13 Happy is the man that finds wisdom, and the man that gets understanding. 14 For the gain from it is better than the gain from silver, and the profit thereof than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things you can desire are not to be compared unto her. 16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honor. 17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is everyone that retains her. 19 The LORD by wisdom has founded the earth; by understanding has he established the heavens. 20 By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. 21 My son, let not them depart from your eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: 22 So shall they be life unto your soul, and grace to your neck. 23 Then shall you walk in your way safely, and your foot shall not stumble. 24 When you lie down, you shall not be afraid: yea, you shall lie down, and your sleep shall be sweet. 25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the ruin from the wicked, when it comes. 26 For the LORD shall be your confidence, and shall keep your foot from being snared. 27 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. 28 Say not unto your neighbor, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when you have it with you. 29 Devise not evil against your neighbor, seeing he dwells securely by you. 30 Strive not with a man without cause, if he has done you no harm. 31 Envy you not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. 32 For the perverse is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous. 33 The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesses the habitation of the just. 34 Surely he scorns the scornful: but he gives grace unto the lowly. 35 The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the recompense of fools.

John 1:1-51

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness overcame it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, that lights every man that comes into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 John bore witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spoke, He that comes after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. 18 No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him. 19 And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who are you? 20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. 21 And they asked him, What then? Are you Elijah? And he said, I am not. Are you that prophet? And he answered, No. 22 Then said they unto him, Who are you? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What say you of yourself? 23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Isaiah. 24 And they who were sent were of the Pharisees. 25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptize you then, if you are not that Christ, nor Elijah, neither that prophet? 26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there stands one among you, whom you know not; 27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's thong I am not worthy to unloose. 28 These things were done in Bethany beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me comes a man who is preferred before me: for he was before me. 31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. 32 And John bore record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom you shall see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit. 34 And I saw, and bore record that this is the Son of God. 35 Again the next day John stood, and two of his disciples; 36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he said, Behold the Lamb of God! 37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. 38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and said unto them, What seek you? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Teacher,) where do you dwell? 39 He said unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour. 40 One of the two who heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. 41 He first found his own brother Simon, and said unto him, We have found the Messiah, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. 42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, You are Simon the son of Jonah: you shall be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone. 43 The day following Jesus went forth into Galilee, and found Philip, and said unto him, Follow me. 44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael, and said unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. 46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip said unto him, Come and see. 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and said of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! 48 Nathanael said unto him, Where do you know me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you. 49 Nathanael answered and said unto him, Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel. 50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto you, I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You shall see greater things than these. 51 And he said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter you shall see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

Lamentations 3:22-23

22 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is your faithfulness.

Psalms 143:8

8 Cause me to hear your lovingkindness in the morning; for in you do I trust: cause me to know the way in which I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto you.
