¹ And Moses answered and said, And, behold, they will not believe me and will not listen to my voice. For they will say, Jehovah has not appeared to you.

¹⁰ And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go, and you shall wash seven times in the Jordan. And your flesh shall return to you, and you shall he clean. ¹¹ And Naaman was angry, and went on, and said, Behold, I said, He will certainly come out to me and will stand and call on the name of Jehovah his God, and will wave his hand over the place, and recover the leper. ¹² Are not Abanah and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Shall I not wash in them and he clean? And he turned and went on in fury. ¹³ And his servants came near and spoke to him, and said, My father, if the prophet had spoken a great thing to you would you not do it ? How much rather then when he says to you, Wash, and be clean? ¹⁴ And he went down and dipped in the Jordan seven times, according to the word of the man of God. And his flesh returned like the flesh of a little boy, and he was clean.

⁷ But Jehovah said to me, Do not say, I am a boy; for you shall go to all that I shall send you. And whatever I command you, you shall speak. ⁸ Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you, says Jehovah.

⁹ The Lord of the promise is not slow, as some deem slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not having purposed any of us to perish, but all of us to come to repentance.

¹² And the man said, The woman whom You gave to be with me, she has given to me of the tree, and I ate.

¹² And the Angel of Jehovah appeared to him, and said to him, Jehovah is with you, mighty warrior. ¹³ And Gideon said to Him, Oh my Lord, if Jehovah is with us, then why has all this happened to us? And where are all His wonders which our fathers recounted to us, saying, Did not Jehovah bring us up out of Egypt? And now Jehovah has left us, and has given us into the hands of Midian. ¹⁴ And Jehovah turned to him and said, Go in this strength of yours, and you shall deliver Israel out of the hand of Midian. Have I not sent you? ¹⁵ And he said to Him, Oh my Lord, with what shall I deliver Israel? Behold, my family is the weakest in Manasseh, and I the least in my father's house. ¹⁶ And Jehovah said to him, Because I am with you, you shall strike Midian as one man. ¹⁷ And he said to Him, Please, if I have found grace in Your eyes, then You shall give me a sign that You are speaking with me.

²¹ And another of His disciples said to Him, Lord, allow me first to go away and bury my father.

¹ Therefore, O man, you are without excuse, everyone who judges, for in that in which you judge the other, you condemn yourself; for you, those judging, practice the same things. ² But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth on those that practice such things. ³ And, O man, the one judging those practicing such things, and doing them, do you think that you will escape the judgment of God? ⁴ Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and the forbearance and the longsuffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? ⁵ But according to your hardness and your impenitent heart, do you treasure up to yourself wrath in a day of wrath, and revelation of a righteous judgment of God? ⁶ He "will give to each according to his works:" LXX-Psa. 61:13; MT-Psa. 62:12 ⁷ everlasting life truly to those who with patience in good work are seeking glory and honor and incorruptibility; ⁸ but to those even disobeying the truth, out of self interest, and obeying unrighteousness, will be anger and wrath, ⁹ trouble and pain on every soul of man that works out evil, both of Jew first, and of Greek. ¹⁰ But glory and honor and peace will be to everyone that works out good, both to the Jew first, and to the Greek. ¹¹ For there is no respect of persons with God. ¹² For as many as sinned without Law will also perish without Law. And as many as sinned within Law will be judged through Law. ¹³ For not the hearers of the Law are just with God, but the doers of the Law shall be justified. ¹⁴ For when nations not having Law do by nature the things of the Law, they not having Law are a law to themselves, ¹⁵ who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience witnessing with them, and the thoughts between one another accusing or even excusing, ¹⁶ in a day when God judges the hidden things of men, according to my gospel, through Jesus Christ. ¹⁷ Behold, you are called a Jew, and rest in the Law, and boast in God, ¹⁸ and know the will, and approve the things excelling, being instructed out of the Law, ¹⁹ and persuading yourself to be a guide of blind ones, a light to those in darkness, ²⁰ an instructor of foolish ones, a teacher of infants, having the form of knowledge and of the truth in the Law. ²¹ Then the one teaching another, do you not teach yourself? The one preaching not to steal, do you steal? ²² The one saying not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? The one detesting the idols, do you rob temples? ²³ You who boast in Law, do you dishonor God through transgression of the Law? ²⁴ For the name of God is blasphemed among the nations through you, even as it has been written: Isa. 52:5 ²⁵ For indeed circumcision profits if you practice the Law, but if you are a transgressor of Law, your circumcision becomes uncircumcision. ²⁶ If, then, the uncircumcision keeps the demands of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? ²⁷ And will not the uncircumcision by nature by keeping the Law judge you, the one who through letter and circumcision becomes transgressor of Law? ²⁸ For he is not a Jew that is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that outwardly in flesh; ²⁹ but he is a Jew that is one inwardly, and circumcision is of heart, in spirit, not in letter; of whom the praise is not from men, but from God.

²⁰ for the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things made, both His eternal power and Godhead, for them to be without excuse.

¹ Therefore, O man, you are without excuse, everyone who judges, for in that in which you judge the other, you condemn yourself; for you, those judging, practice the same things.

¹³ And Jehovah God said to the woman, What is this you have done? And the woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate.

⁴ Then the word of Jehovah was to me, saying, ⁵ I knew you before I formed you in the belly; and before you came out of the womb, I consecrated you. I appointed you a prophet to the nations. ⁶ Then I said, Ah, Lord Jehovah! Behold, I do not know how to speak for I am a boy. ⁷ But Jehovah said to me, Do not say, I am a boy; for you shall go to all that I shall send you. And whatever I command you, you shall speak. ⁸ Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you, says Jehovah. ⁹ Then Jehovah put out His hand and touched my mouth. And Jehovah said to me, Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. ¹⁰ Behold, I have today appointed you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to tear down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

⁵⁹ And He said to another, Follow Me. But he said, Lord, allow me to go first to bury my father. ⁶⁰ But Jesus said to him, Leave the dead to bury their dead, but going out, you announce the kingdom of God. ⁶¹ And also another said, I will follow You, Lord, but first allow me to take leave of those in my house. ⁶² But Jesus said to him, No one putting his hand on the plow, and looking at the things behind, is fit for the kingdom of God.

¹⁰ And Moses said to Jehovah, O Lord, I am not a man of words, either from yesterday or the third day, nor since You have been speaking to Your bondslave. For I am slow of mouth and slow of tongue. ¹¹ And Jehovah said to him, Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the dumb, or the deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? is it not I, Jehovah? ¹² And now go, and I will be with your mouth, and will teach you what you shall speak. ¹³ And he said, O Lord, please send by the hand of him whom You will send. ¹⁴ And the anger of Jehovah glowed against Moses. And He said, Do I not know your brother, Aaron the Levite, that he can speak well? And, behold, he also is coming out to meet you, and he will see you and be glad in his heart.

¹⁸ And all with one mind began to beg off. The first said to him, I have bought a field, and I have need to go out and see it; I ask you, have me excused. ¹⁹ And another said, I bought five yoke of oxen and I am going to try them out; I ask you, have me excused. ²⁰ And another said, I married a wife, and for this reason I am not able to come.
