¹⁴ You shall be blessed beyond all nations; there shall not be among you an impotent or barren one, or among your cattle. ¹⁵ And the Lord your God shall remove from you all sickness; and none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you have seen, and all that you have known, will he lay upon you; but he will lay them upon all that hate you. ¹⁶ And you shall eat all the spoils of the nations which the Lord your God gives you; your eye shall not spare them, and you shall not serve their gods; for this is an offense to you. ¹⁷ But if you should say in your heart, This nation [is] greater than I, how shall I be able to destroy them utterly? ¹⁸ you shall not fear them; you shall surely remember all that the Lord your God did to Pharao and to all the Egyptians:

²² And God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her, and he opened her womb.

¹ A Song of Degrees. Many a time have they warred against me from my youth, let Israel now say: ² Many a time have they warred against me from my youth: and yet they prevailed not against me. ³ The sinners wrought upon my back: they prolonged their iniquity. ⁴ The righteous Lord has cut asunder the necks of sinners.

¹⁶ And to the woman he said, I will greatly multiply your pains and your groanings; in pain you shall bring forth children, and your submission shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you.

²⁸ And God blessed them, saying, Increase and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the seas and flying creatures of heaven, and all the cattle and all the earth, and all the reptiles that creep on the earth.

³ Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine on the sides of your house: your children as young olive-plants round about your table. ⁴ Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that fears the Lord. ⁵ May the Lord bless you out of Sion; and may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
