¹ And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me nor listen to my voice. For they will say, Jehovah has not appeared to you.

¹⁰ And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall come to you, and you shall be clean. ¹¹ But Naaman was angry, and went away. And he said, Behold, I said within myself, He will surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of Jehovah his God, and strike his hand over the place and recover the leper. ¹² Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? May I not wash in them, and be clean? And he turned and went away in a rage. ¹³ And his servants came near and spoke to him and said, My father, if the prophet had told you to do a great thing, would you not have done it? How much rather then, when he says to you, Wash and be clean? ¹⁴ And he went down and dipped seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God. And his flesh came again like the flesh of a little boy, and he was clean.

⁷ But Jehovah said to me, Do not say, I am a boy; for you shall go to all that I shall send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. ⁸ Do not be afraid of their faces; for I am with you to deliver you, says Jehovah.

⁹ The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not purposing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

¹² And the man said, The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.

¹² And the Angel of Jehovah appeared to him, and said to him, Jehovah is with you, mighty warrior. ¹³ And Gideon said to Him, O, my Lord, if Jehovah is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not Jehovah bring us up from Egypt? But now Jehovah has forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. ¹⁴ And Jehovah looked upon him and said, Go in your might, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you? ¹⁵ And he said to him, O, my Lord, with what shall I save Israel? Behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house. ¹⁶ And Jehovah said to him, Surely, I will be with you, and you shall strike the Midianites as one man. ¹⁷ And he said to Him, If now I have found grace in Your sight, then show me a sign that You talk with me.

²¹ And another of His disciples said to him, Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.

¹ Therefore you are without excuse, O man, everyone who judges; for in that in which you judge another, you condemn yourself, for you who judge do the same things. ² But know that the judgment of God is according to truth on those who practice such things. ³ And, O man, the one judging those who do such things, and practice them, do you think this, that you shall escape the judgment of God? ⁴ Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and the forbearance and long-suffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? ⁵ But according to your hardness and your impenitent heart, do you treasure up wrath for yourself in a day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, ⁶ who will render to each according to his works; ⁷ indeed to those who with patience in good work are seeking for glory, and honor, and incorruptibility, everlasting life. ⁸ But to those who indeed disobeying the truth out of self-seeking, and obeying unrighteousness, will be anger and wrath, ⁹ tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man who has worked out evil; of the Jew first, and also of the Greek. ¹⁰ But He will give glory, honor and peace to every man who works good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. ¹¹ For there is no respect of faces with God. ¹² For as many as sinned without Law will also perish without Law. And as many as have sinned within Law shall be judged through Law. ¹³ For it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified. ¹⁴ For when the nations, who do not have the Law, do by nature the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law unto themselves; ¹⁵ who show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and the thoughts between one another accusing or even excusing one another, ¹⁶ in a day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. ¹⁷ Behold, you are called a Jew, and rest in the Law, and boast in God; ¹⁸ and know His will and approve the things excelling, being instructed out of the Law; ¹⁹ and persuading yourselves to be a guide of the blind, a light to those in darkness; ²⁰ an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, who have the form of knowledge and of the truth in the Law. ²¹ Therefore the one teaching another, do you not teach yourself? The one preaching not to steal, do you steal? ²² The one saying not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? The one detesting idols, do you rob temples? ²³ You who boast in Law, do you dishonor God through breaking the Law? ²⁴ For the name of God is blasphemed among the nations because of you, as it is written. ²⁵ For circumcision truly profits if you keep the Law, but if you are a transgressor of the Law, circumcision becomes uncircumcision. ²⁶ If then the uncircumcision keeps the ordinances of the Law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? ²⁷ And the uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfills the Law, shall it not judge you, who through letter and circumcision become transgressors of the Law? ²⁸ For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that outwardly in flesh; ²⁹ but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart; in spirit and not in letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.

²⁰ For the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being realized by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, for them to be without excuse.

¹ Therefore you are without excuse, O man, everyone who judges; for in that in which you judge another, you condemn yourself, for you who judge do the same things.

¹³ And Jehovah God said to the woman, What is this you have done? And the woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate.

⁴ And it happened, the Word of Jehovah came to me, saying, ⁵ Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I consecrated you, and I ordained you a prophet to the nations. ⁶ Then I said, Alas, Lord Jehovah! Behold, I do not know to speak; for I am a boy. ⁷ But Jehovah said to me, Do not say, I am a boy; for you shall go to all that I shall send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. ⁸ Do not be afraid of their faces; for I am with you to deliver you, says Jehovah. ⁹ And Jehovah put forth His hand, and touched my mouth. And Jehovah said to me, Behold, I have put My Words in your mouth. ¹⁰ Behold! I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

⁵⁹ And He said to another, Follow Me! But he said, Lord, first allow me to go and bury my father. ⁶⁰ Jesus said to him, Let the dead bury their dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God. ⁶¹ And another also said, Lord, I will follow You, but first allow me to take leave of those in my house. ⁶² And Jesus said to him, No one, having put his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

¹⁰ And Moses said to Jehovah, O my Lord, I am not a man of words now, nor since You have spoken to Your servant, but I am slow of speech and of a slow tongue. ¹¹ And Jehovah said to him, Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, Jehovah? ¹² And now go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say. ¹³ And he said, O my Lord, I pray You, send by the hand of him whom You will send. ¹⁴ And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Moses. And He said, Do I not know Aaron the Levite, your brother that he can speak well? And also, behold, he comes forth to meet you. And when he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.

¹⁸ And all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said to him, I have bought a piece of ground, I must go and see it. I beg you, have me excused. ¹⁹ And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to test them. I beg you, have me excused. ²⁰ And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
