¹⁰ He has described a circle on the surface of the waters to the boundary of light with darkness.

⁹ You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves arise, You still them.

¹ Praise Jehovah! Praise Jehovah from the heavens; praise Him in the heights. ² Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts. ³ Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all stars of light. ⁴ Praise Him, heavens of heavens, and waters that are above the heavens. ⁵ Let them praise the name of Jehovah; for He commanded, and they were created. ⁶ He has also settled them forever and ever; He has made a decree which shall not pass away. ⁷ Let praise be to Jehovah from the earth, the sea-monsters, and all deeps; ⁸ fire and hail, snow and vapor, stormy wind fulfilling His Word, ⁹ mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars, ¹⁰ beasts and all cattle, creeping things and birds of the wing, ¹¹ kings of the earth and all people, princes and all judges of the earth, ¹² both young men and maidens, old men and children; ¹³ let them praise the name of Jehovah; for His name alone is excellent; His glory is above the earth and heavens. ¹⁴ He also lifts up the horn of His people, the praise of all His saints, even of the sons of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise Jehovah!

²² And immediately Jesus constrained His disciples to get into a boat and to go before Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away. ²³ And when He had sent the crowds away, He went up into a mountain apart to pray. And when evening had come, He was there alone. ²⁴ But the boat was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves; for the wind was against them. ²⁵ And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. ²⁶ And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a phantom! And they cried out for fear.

²⁶ And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creepers creeping on the earth.

⁷ But now ask the animals, and they shall teach you; and the birds of the air, and they shall tell you; ⁸ or speak to the earth, and it shall teach you; and the fish of the sea shall declare it to you; ⁹ who of all these does not know that the hand of Jehovah has done this? ¹⁰ In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all flesh, even of man?

⁸ the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, and all that pass through the paths of the seas.

³⁵ So says Jehovah, who gives the sun for a light by day and the laws of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who divides the sea when its waves roar; Jehovah of Hosts is His name;

⁶ To Him who stretched out the earth above the waters; for His mercy endures forever.
