³¹ Yf ye continue in my wordes: then are ye my very discyples, ³² and shal know the truth, and the truthe shall make you free.

¹⁸ As it is written: the iust shal liue by faith. For the wrath of God appeareth from heauen agaynste all vngodlynesse and vnryghtuousnes of men, whiche wythholde the trueth in vnryghtuousnes, ¹⁹ saiyng: what maye be knowen of God, that same is manifest amonge them. For God dyd shewe it vnto them. ²⁰ So that his inuisible thinges, that is to saye, hys eternall power and Godhead, are vnderstand & sene by the workes from the creation of the worlde. So that they are wythout excuse,

¹⁷ So then fayth cometh by the worde of God.

²¹ Examen all thinges, and kepe that which is good. ²² Absteyne from all suspicious thinges.

² And fashyon not youre selues lyke vnto thys worlde. But be ye chaunged in youre shape, by the renuynge of youre wyttes, that ye may fele what thynge that good, that acceptable, and perfect wyll of God is.

³⁶ He that beleueth on the sonne, hath euerlasting life, and he that beleueth not the sonne shall not se life: but the wrath of God abydeth on him.

¹⁶ For God so loueth the worlde, that he hath geuen his only sonne, that none that beleue in him, should perishe: but should haue euerlastinge lyfe. ¹⁷ For God sent not his sonne into the world, to condempne the worlde: but that the world through him, might be saued. ¹⁸ He that beleueth on him, shal not be condempned. But he that beleueth not is condempned allready, because he beleueth not in the name of the onlye sonne of God.

²² And haue compassyon of some, separatynge them:
