¹⁰ He hath compaseth the waters wt certayne boundes, vntill the day and night come to an ende.

⁹ Thou rulest the pryde of the sea, thou stillest the waues therof, when they aryse.

¹ Prayse the euerlastyng. O prayse the Lorde of heauen, prayse hym in the heygth. ² Prayse hym all ye aungels of hys, prayse hym all hys hoost. ³ Prayse hym Sunne and Moone, prayse hym all ye starres and light. ⁴ Prayse hym all ye heauens, and ye waters that be vnder the heauens. ⁵ Let them prayse the name of the Lorde, for he commaunded, and they were made. ⁶ He hath made them fast for euer and euer, he hath geuen them a lawe whiche shall not be broken. ⁷ Prayse the Lord vpon earth, ye whalfysshes, and al depes. ⁸ Fyre and hayle, snow and vapors, wynde and storme, fulfillynge his worde. ⁹ Mountaynes and al hilles, fruteful trees and all Cedres. ¹⁰ Beastes and cattel, wormes and fethered foules. ¹¹ Kynges of the earth and all people, Prynces and iudges of the worlde. ¹² Yonge men and maydens, olde men and chyldren: ¹³ let them prayse the name of the Lord, for his name only is excellent, and his prayse aboue heauen and earth. ¹⁴ He exalteth the horne of his people, all hys saynctes shall prayse hym, the chyldren of Israell, euen the people that serueth him. Prayse the euerlastyng.

²² And strayght way Iesus made hys disciples into a ship, & to go ouer before him while he sent the people away. ²³ And assone as he had sent the people away, he went vp into a mountayn alone to pray, & when night was come, he was there him self alone. ²⁴ And the ship was now in the middest of the sea, & was toste wt waues, for it was a contrary wynde. ²⁵ In the .iiij. watch of the night. Iesus came vnto them walking on the sea. ²⁶ And when his disciples sawe him walkinge on the sea, they were troubled, saying: it is some spirite, & cried out for feare.

²⁶ And God sayde: let vs make man in oure similitude & after our lycknesse: that he may haue rule ouer the fysh of the sea, and ouer the foules of the ayre, & ouer catell, and ouer all the erth, and ouer all wormes that crepe on the erth.

⁷ Aske the catell, & they shall infourme the: the fowles of the ayre, and they shall tell the: ⁸ Speake to the earth, & it shall shewe the: Or to the fysshes of the sea, and they shall certifie the. ⁹ What is he, but he knoweth that the hande of the Lorde made all these? ¹⁰ In whose hande is the soule of euery lyuynge thinge, & the breth of all men.

⁸ The foules of the ayre, the fish of the sea, and whatsoeuer walketh thorow the wayes of the sea.

³⁵ Thus sayth the Lorde which gaue the sunne to be a lyght for the daye, and the mone and starres to shyne in the night: whiche moueth the sea, so that the floudes thereof waxe fearce: hys name is the Lorde of hostes.

⁶ Which layed out the earth aboue the waters, for his mercy endureth for euer.
